This market was great and just what we needed on vacation for groceries for a few days! It wasn’t super cheap, but being so far up in the mountains we didn’t expect it to be. After reading the other reviews we were afraid we’d spend much more than we really ended up spending. They also had everything that we needed and tons of options for different diets, all of the staff were very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

This grocery store was compact and EXPENSIVE. The isles were very hard to maneuver. They had a decent selection but we bought a frozen lasagna, 3 frozen pizzas and a gallon of milk and it was $50.00I get that it is in the mountains and things are harder to transport here, but that seems a bit outrageous.

I can't say this is the best market in town, but it is the only one I ever needed to visit. They have always had what I needed. Pretty good selection across the board, especially for a mountain town market. With that said, things are priced accordingly.Service has always been friendly and helpful. This is truly a convenient place to get almost all of what your kitchen might be looking for.

As a longtime customer, I was very disappointed to see the quality of the meat counter so badly degraded when I came in today.You will pay about a 15%-20% markup for everything at Mountain Market, but this was always worth it because of the beautiful hand cut steaks and other meat. Not anymore - the meat was all prepackaged and not even close to the quality I have always remembered them having.I will probably end up getting my groceries at King Soopers in Granby more often if this is the new norm.And while I can appreciate the earlier reply, I would also note that Mountain Market has been able to begin selling wine and beer in the past several years, which should help mitigate increases in staple food prices. As I said before, I’m willing to pay a 15-20% markup for this store. This is not an excuse to cut the quality.I probably won’t be calling ahead. Granby is over 30 minutes away, so we are far more likely to just start doing our grocery runs at CityMarket on our way to town and stop coming to Mountain Market as often. It is a shame to see this happening

Great store with wonderful selection of items. I was totally surprised to see items on the shelves that I have to order online at home. Many gluten free items. I didn’t see any pictures of the meat market portion, but it was great. Checkout the fridge/freezer section for extra meat selections. We got filet mignon and it was great. A true butcher who knows craft. Carries items for entire home and even pets. Staff was friendly.

This Store is very important for locals. I personally prefer to shop local, and in recent past the store has really stepped up to provide us with a great selection, including high quality healthy food,meat cheeses, vegetables and a great wide selection! I personally only shop here now. And I have been so pleased that I can find here what i need everytime@ Keep it up!!!!!

I was shocked by how good the prices were. The store was very well stocked with just about anything you could ask for. The lady who ran the store was extremely nice and very helpful.

Wonderful little market that went under new ownership in April of 23 by locals who live in area. Multi generational. Great ambiance and decent selection. Prices within reason too!

Very cute market with good prices but a little bit of kindness would go a long way. I was a genuine customer waiting to check out and my little daughter suddenly and desperately needed to use the restroom. The cashier didn’t even dignify our request for help with words. So — no restroom for customers, and no sympathy for kids with bodily functions.

Cute market that has most of what you'll need but you'll pay a pretty hefty penny. Things here are pricey! We didn't have the best experience as the deli got both of our orders way wrong. The ciabatta, sourdough, and baguettes were very hard and seemed like they had been previously frozen? Regardless, we only had to shop here once and we got most of what we needed.

We shop here often. Used to be a really great experience. Lately they have not been taking our phone number or adding points to our account; even when we ask them to. We spend hundreds of dollars here at a time and the rewards used to make it worth the extra markup. I hope they can straighten this out, bc we love to shop local and support our community.

Variety! Location! SO picturesque! Kind and helpful employees! Chock full of everything you could possibly need, go here if you are camping nearby or just having a fun mountain adventure and need some snacks. We got essentials and fun treats! Love this place and would love to end up here again.

A fantastic community-focused grocery store with good selection and prices given their size and convenient location. The staff is always friendly and helpful. While they may not stock some of the more exotic ingredients, I am always impressed by their selection, especially in produce. The meat counter is the best in the county, and their beer selection is on point. We are very lucky to have such a great grocery store serving our community.

First and last time visit today, although you offer a variety of items and we found what we were looking for the older lady behind the counter was very rude. She has stringy white hair, and she made are experience uncomfortable. She needs major customer service training.

They have quite a bit more groceries/misc items than I expected.Pricing was about what you would expect for the convenience. Probably 20% more than at the larger surrounding cities.Owner/employee was as friendly as one would expect at 10 mins before closing, dealing with out-of-towners all day.Good shopping music while browsing.

The store was well stocked with a good variety. However the older lady at the register was very rude and condescending like another reviewer noted. When the shopping cart was yanked from my brother-in-law’s hands we were all shocked and didn’t even know how to respond to her rudeness. We will never visit this market again.

Apparently once you reach a certain age you have the right to treat people anyway you feel, even if you are running a customer based establishment. The older lady that checked my husband and I out today was extremely rude not just today but every time we have visited. Today drew the line, I feel like if I looked like I was wealthy I would have been treated differently. Like the couple that was in front of us. Will be driving to city market from now on even just for butter.

This place is amazing. Its got really great prices for a small town grocery market. You would expect a price hike, when actually produce (& many other food items!) were cheaper than my hometown grocery markets in Texas! They carry everything from souvenirs to crockpots. They have ski gloves, winter gloves (about $10!), and beanies. Mittens & caps for kids, feminine hygiene items, dog food, & single serve hot cocoa packets. Everything is clean, organized, well maintained, & within its shelf life. They have a frozen section & very fresh deli meats. The staff were very nice & professional. They sell mixers & sodas, however you will have to go a few blocks down for beer/liquor. 10/10 would return to this store.

Adorable store; older woman (long-ish gray hair) working the front register was condescending and rude, specifically to my mother who just asked a question about a product. Unnecessary, and another local man in the store actually overheard, apologized for her, and sent us to a different store to find what we needed. The store itself is really well stocked and fairly priced with a lot of fun local options!!

I thought the prices were reasonable for the area. Honestly some of the stuff was cheaper here than it is back home in Texas. Every employee I came into contact with was super nice. I really liked shopping here.

I am a grand lake resident. I will never shop here again. Today was the last straw. Unfortunately every time I go here there is an older woman with short hair who is always very rude to me for no reason what so ever. All the other staff are very nice. The owner really needs to do something about the employee with the attitude problem. If you are a miserable person it is not something you should bring to the work place and project onto your customers. Very unprofessional.
