Little Mom+Pop type, hole in the wall, shop. The lady (owner?) was very nice and accommodating. My son wanted a caramel apple and while she had some rest and easily could've said "this is it, take your pick" , she instead explained all the flavors then offered to make any other flavors and did, being careful to explain that the M&M's would fall off if you're too aggressive with them, so we should strategically use the bag. My daughter loved her ice cream cone and my butter toffee morsel (I didn't want a lot) was perfect for my needs. all for ~$15. Well be back if we're ever in town again. I recommend stopping in after your meal. perfect.

Delicious chocolates and ice cream! The French Mint chocolates were my favorite. The lady at the counter was very kind and welcoming, and the chocolates were surprisingly cheap for a tourist town!Dietary restrictions: There is a small selection of sugar free chocolates.Kid-friendliness: It's a candy store. Come on, people.

Oh my goodness, this place is incredible!! It’s a genuine, hometown, family owned ice cream and sweet treat shop!! Wow!! We bought salt water taffies and almost ice cream from the overly busy joint up the way, and let me tell you, don’t bother!! Just go here for all the goodness instead!!The girls were so adorable, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I believe they are the daughters of the owners- awesome!! The quality was superior. Just everything was amazing. Great prices, fantastic people and remarkable product!! A definite must visit in Grand Lake!!I should’ve taken a picture of the deliciously dipper waffle cones and ice cream, but we ate them up to quick…!

I have literally been getting ice cream here since I was a kid. Love it. Best in town, if I am near grand lake I always stop here. parking can be a pain but worth a walk. Kids usually run the shop but are always polite and speedy. I hope they stay in business a long time.

Travellers, this shop combines chocolates and ice cream. That is an unbelievable combination. Everything was delicious and the ice cream is outstanding. All the flavors were delicious. Service was fast and with a smile. We would have liked some outdoor seating to enjoy the view of adorable downtown grand lake. The scenery is lovely and the town is charming. It is worth the visit. This was our favorite place to get ice cream at the lake. You could order a kids cone with sprinkles for less than a dollar and it was the perfect amount for small children. They also sold other treats such as candy apples and chocolate treats.

The chocolate candies taste terrible. They look nice but are dry and don't taste like real chocolate. More like the generic candy melts from craft stores. Really disappointed because I bought a lot. It's so bad I'm throwing them away. Not worth the calories at all. :(

Was there Saturday. Delicious ice cream. Dad had the peach ice-cream. I got a vanilla single scoop. They also have pup cups. The girl with the accent was very nice and helpful.

Thank you for a wonderful experience and great ice cream. My husband has a gluten allergy (non-celiac) and they offer gluten free cones. The young lady even went to the back and used a fresh tub of ice cream rather than the tub she used during the day. Awesome service!Thank you!

Oh yum! They offer a promo rate for cash sales. The candies were so fresh and delightful. Only bummer no banana ice cream but the chocolate chip was superb. The wonderful lady running the place was handling it by her lonesome working the whole place treating every customer with a friendly smile. With overb20 flavors and some crazy good chocolate this is a must stop in the area

We always stop here whenever we are in the area. You can’t beat the dollar kid cones, but we keep coming even now that the kids are older. The icecream and chocolates are always delicious, and the service is always warm and friendly. It’s one of our family’s top favorite places.

I have came here since I was a child, The lady working was a complete jerk. She was arguing with me about what I asked for. I came here 3 days in a row to give her another chance and she treated me the same every time . Every time I come here she was a rude person. There was hair in my ice cream (how is that even possible!!!). Sad this is what a grand lake staple has turned into. SMH

Great ice cream shop with cute decor and fast, pleasant service. They had a wide variety of flavors and I loved trying their white chocolate dipped waffle cones. We also enjoyed their cut up candied apple. Definitely worth a stop!

We come here everytime we're in Colorado! About once a year, the ice cream is always amazing, the service is always wonderful, the chocolates are always delicious and made fresh, and I always splurge on their chocolate cover strawberries!

This was a quick stop for ice cream and it was very good. We also bought taffy and was excited to have some, but was disappointed at the taste. They seemed to all taste the same. Maybe a fluke but I didn't like it. Otherwise the place, people and ice cream was very good.

MUST GO! The perfect place to stop with our family for treat. We live in Denver and drive up to get out of the heat and cool off with their amazing ice cream, awesome caramel apples, and dipped strawberries! Friendly staff. We love that it's a family owned business, too!

Grand Lake Chocolate shop is a family owned small business, family owned and served which is great actually. The variety of Chocolate covered fruits, nuts and others eatables in addition to the ice cream and candy’s was excellent. It almost feels they are in the business cause they like to see the smiles on people faces when the get their little piece of Heaven! Took some Taffy for friends and coworkers too.

Seemed popular so decided to give it a try. Overall the ice cream was good, you can tell that it was fresh. The portion was decent for the price. I would also recommend getting some toffee.

We live here and love them. They're great if you have kids. Their dollar kids cones are the best and the little bitty one get a kids cone free! Defiantly the best place if you have kids and on a budget with the need for ice cream this is the place for you!!!!!!!!!!
