My go-to for hard to find aquarium supplies and blackwater botanicals. I make sure to always plan my roadtrips so I can stop on my way home to Eagle. Healthy and unique fish and crustaceans both marine and fresh. Always worth a stop!

Healthy fish, GREAT advice, fair pricing and exceptional customer service. This is how this local fish store helped me: Just started fish keeping last July. No experience. They walked me through aqua scraping two separate tanks. 25 gallon askoll river filter design tank and the Fluval flex 9 gallon for our betta fish. All fish, tanks, live plants, and everything I have needed I have bought through this store. I had zero issues along this journey because any questions I had- their staff would answer and in some cases find an immediate solution. Amazing selection on fish and all supplies needed. Their completed tank deals are epic when compared to other local stores and Amazon.

Amazing deals on full setups. Only thing is the air pump is pretty loud lol. But amazon has the tetra whisper for $15 so no biggie. My tank took 4 hours to build while doing other things. Turned out spectacular.

The best fish store for already a hundred miles in any direction. Their prices on equipment are reasonable. Livestock prices seem steep at times but again... the oasis in the desert. Staff are super knowledgeable and willing to help people of all levels/experience. For stars because I wish there saltwater livestock was more sustainable/ tank-bred focused, and to be an industry issue but restrained have some say in suppliers demand.

Great experience! We just became fish owners and knew absolutely nothing about them except from what Petsmart had told us (which wasn't allot nor informative). We came W.S. Aquatics and wow, so informative and incredibly helpful. We love shopping local and this family owned since 1969 business is the only place I will go now for all my aquatic needs. So many beautiful fish and accessories as well for all tanks and sizes.

I have had great results on fish. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable on the products and what needs done to your tank. We took a picture of one of our sick fish and they got me what I needed to cure my fish. They are family owned and been around for many years.

I used to shop J&M Aquatics because I didnt know any better. I tolerated their terrible customer service for far too long. For the past year I’ve always gone to Western Slope Aquatics first, and only go to the other store if WSA doesn’t have what I need. The staff at Western Slope is phenomenal, the whole family. They are always patient with my dumb questions and always entertain my two year old by talking to him about the fish. I wish I had found them first and never wasted my time at the other store. I’ll be a die hard WSA customer until I die.
