I was treated like a shoplifter when I was the only customer in the store and the employees followed me through the aisles just standing around, not bothering to ask if I needed help just lingering and pretending to arrange shelves lol. I bought $80 worth of freezer dog food that I suspect wasn't stored properly because my dog won't touch the stuff anymore. Went back to buying Dr. Marty's online.

Just had an awesome trip to petsmart.I went to the store to purchase pretty kitty litter, I went to the back of the store and looked around for it, could not find it and went back to the front of the store to ask for help.I ran into a wonderful employee named Kaylee, a very kind and amazing young woman. I told her that I am disabled. I have a hidden disability that is not easily seen.She quickly and efficiently radiod her coworker Jackie who got the specific litter I requested and brought it to the front of the store. Jackie was wonderful and kind. Very understanding and nice.That helped me not have to walk to the back of the store again.I called the store to praise the team with compliments, Jackie answered LOL. I guess she is a manager, I told her I could not compliment the compliment to the compliment haha.That is when I spoke with another manager Michaela. Another awesome employee, to tell this story and get them much deserved recognition.You have a very professional team here at the Grand junction store.Thank you Petsmart for hiring amazing employees like Kaylee, Jackie, and Michaela.

Many dead fish today at Petsmart and one was agonizing. It's very sad. When I asked an employee what's going on. She said I'm sorry. I'll ask for a manager. It is a cruel sad life for them.

Was there the past two days in a row...Dawn the cashier and Mike the Asst Mgr are the best ever!!! Their knowledge, customer service skills and willingness to help in any way they can, are above and beyond!!! Pet Smart is extremely lucky to have these two on their payroll! Keep up the good work!!!

PetSmart never really comes up short but I still will never be a fan of overpriced stuff being sold at American made prices. Not PetSmart's fault but it's a concern as always. Just bought a medium dog kennel there yesterday and the price was competitive and it was well built.

I brought my dog in to have a bath/blowdry/nail trim. I could tell as soon as my husband brought her home that she was not really clean, she did not smell fresh but more like they tried to mask it. I gave her a bath a couple days after the grooming and the amount of dirt that had came off of her was ridiculous. I was willing to pay for the convenience of this service but it was a waste of money.

The employee at point of sale was rude. I didn't have the "physical " prescription for my purchase of Hill's dog food. She acted like I was trying to steal it. FYI. I have been buying this for over a year both at the store and online.

If you're looking for a dog trainer, look no further. Sean Perry is the real deal.We didn't know how to communicate with our dog that we ended up rescuing - he had severe separation anxiety, didn't know any basic commands, would get distracted by any and every noise. We took him to PetSmart out of desperation one day, booking private classes with Sean to start working on separation anxiety. Now we are in every class Sean offers.He is attentive and patient to the real problem in dog training, the humans ;) And is genuinely cares and loves our dog as much as we do. Our dog is more excited to see Sean than he is to see us!It's been less than six months and we have a completely different dog than we had when we first brought him in to learn how to communicate better with him. We are eternally grateful for Sean and the opportunity to learn from him.

I was initially hesitant to take my Samoyed to PetSmart because I was afraid it would be a "pay for what you get" type experience, but after having trouble with multiple other groomers in the area, it turns out they did just as good a job for less than half the cost and the customer service was exceptional. Thank you PetSmart grooming team!After the first great experience it has been a nightmare. They refused service for my dog because their groomers said they are "too busy" to deal with mattes after I specifically told them he was matted when I booked the appointment (he had recently been neutered).

took my dog here to be groomed on 12 /26/23. she went in dirty and came out bleeding from her mouth and nose . when i asked to review the video i was told i would have to take their word for it that nothing happened . something happened and they tried to make it out to be our fault. saying she has a tumor . dont see how the manager would know how my dog has a tumor in her mouth (she does not ) when my vet did not see one. her mouth is swollen and bruised . she was hit with something , my wife filed a complaint with corporate and we have spoken with an attorney , who agrees if nothing happened show the video

The guppies are half the price they were at petco and unlike their competitor, petsmart didn’t have any dead fish floating around! I’m so happy we left that store and came to petsmart instead. We picked up five beautiful little fish. The employee that helped us was great and recommended what water conditioner and food to buy. Great experience!

Love this Petsmart! Trainers are friendly and informative and grooming salon is top notch! Cheeseburger loved his bath and I loved that since he was afraid of the dryer the groomer sat and towel dried him even though it takes much more time!

Update 3/4/2024Found out they have changed policy to only adopt pets out same day. Ridiculous and dangerous for the pets that are looking for a home.Also if you ever get a reptile from them, just know they get them too young to purchase and don't tell you what you really need for these animals. They have an acceptable loss rate for a reason.Went in the other night to get 2 bags of Febreze cat pellets since Walmart was out. As a former employee I remembered they have a Price match to ANYWHERE policy. Now it was late, about 15min till close and still a good amount of people in the store and maybe 3 associates tops.Gentleman comes from the front office and says he will help who is next in line on another register since the single one that was open was getting backed up.Go over, could tell he was upset there were still so many people in the store so late. Try to give him out number for our account which he seems to get frustrated over. Then when my husband tried to let him know that we have a price match, he had already hit total so he sighs rather loudly and then turns to look at the price my husband had pulled up on his phone. Sees that it's Walmart and loudly exclaims that they only will price match to Petsmart online and that we are just confused. We both tell him that we know the policy and checked before we came, and that it says very obviously exactly what we claim on their website.After a few moments of back and forth he said he would do it, then turns completely rude for the rest of the interaction. Wouldn't even look at us, just hands us our receipt and calls the next person in line.If a manger doesn't know the stores policy's and acts like that, they don't deserve to be in that position. Doubt I will ever go back as after this and some of the terrible policy's PetSmart has, I can't recommend anyone go there.
