Natural Grocers has the feel of a small market but offers lots of retail punch. The store goes out of its way to build community loyalty with regular specials, occasional free shopping bags, Valentine's Day free chocolate, etc. Their produce is limited but is the very best organic available. It has become my main grocery store, offering more than the corporate stores.

For the few who look for true wholeness and honest organic this superstore is your diamond in the rough. Truly we will be more regulars here. Why? They carry probably the best loose leaf tea banquet, large organic bsgs of grains at amazing prices, also impressed with selection of truly organic fresh produce. Their staff was helpful and during these times friendly! It was a breath of fresh air to shop here and its recommended. You may also be surprised by even appliances and sprouting containers and a nice spread of nice sprouting seeds. Honey lets talk about honey you can buy it buy the gallons and delishious juices however we did find the juice a tad spendy. Try it you may be like us and just become a new regular.

My family and I stopped in a few nights ago for some supplements recommended by my sports therapist. All staff was very friendly, we were helped by a women (I think her name was Cheryl) she was amazing! She was so helpful, the most helpful and knowledgeable associate I have ever met! We were looking for magnesium and muscle spasm supplements and she knew exactly what to recommend, and not only recommend but knew the entire science behind the supplements she was recommending. I could have listened to her talk all night she was so knowledgeable about what she was doing! Not only did she help with her knowledge, she was about to clock out for the night and still went out of her way to help us find the last supplement we were looking for. I cannot wait to return to this store just to speak with her again. Thank you Cheryl (I really hope that was her name, I’m almost positive it was) for your above and beyond help!

Organic food and fair to low prices. We always get our water refilled here for just 25¢. It's obvious that Natural Grocers cares about its community by offering a service like this!Organic fresh produce, and the best selection of canned foods. Raw fermented veggies too like sourkraut or pickles, kombucha, kvass, and dairy free yogurts (dairy too).This location also carries CBD oils and hemp seed products.Super friendly help!Great sale prices too, we have grown to trust the products we get at Natural Grocers and make this our first stop whenever possible for food.

Our family received some black lava sea salt for Christmas and we really liked the unique flavor and texture that it gave to our food. It is chunky so you actually taste the salt. We mostly use it in salads. We went to Sprouts first and didn't find it there so we ran over to Naural Grocers and happy to find that we didn't need to order it online. Our chicken salad was complete 😁

The store is clean and stocked and the employees are always so helpful when I shop here and I was even given information on special orders in bulk sizes that they could do for me on a product that I use often and I have to buy in individual packaging here. Great service!

This is the best place in town to buy vitamins and supliments, they have a large variety then other places in town. For a while there were a few staff members that were downright rude but now everytime I come in everyone is super nice and friendly!

I went into Natural Grocers to buy two ear candles and was met with a surly, smart aleck cashier. Is it an epidemic in Grand Junction these days? I left without buying anything and will not stop in this store again.

I love Natural Grocers stores in general ~ except for their stingy membership program and constant barrage of emails if you want to participate. But I have to say that the Natural Grocers store in Grand Junction is a disappointment. First, why is it so small in this rapidly growing area?! The store in Montrose is much, much larger and nicer, as is the store in Glenwood Springs. Because GJ's store is so small our selection is very limited. Second, there are a few really, really nice / helpful employees but they stand out because several of the staff are particularly gruff. There are a couple cashiers, for instance, that we simply will not go to. And I've had a few negative interactions with long-term employees about 1) getting a "raincheck" when sale items are out of stock; NO, they don't do that; 2) getting help with a defective product; and 3) asking whether a certain item might be added to their product line.Turns out I'm not alone: I've spoken with three other GJ residents who feel it's an "unfriendly" store that needs enlarging as well as better employee training.

I popped into Natural Grocers to grab a supplement for my husband. He had given me the incorrect pronunciation for the supplement and I asked a woman working there to help me. She was able to find what he wanted and we had a little chuckle about the mispronunciation.Natural Grocers has a great selection and the prices are pretty fair. It's like how the Moab CoOp used to be before it became so boujee. I always enjoy my shopping experience until I get to the check out. Woo Lordy, there is one certain check out lady who is so surly! She seems miserable and I feel kind of sorry for her. I hope she has a better day.

I've shopped at Natural Grocers for several years and have always had a good experience there.I now shop for supplements almost exclusively at Natural Grocers due to seeing so many complaints about Amazon selling expired or otherwise sketchy health products through its 3rd party sellers.The prices are higher but I have more confidence in the quality of the goods. Everything at Natural Grocers looks clean and well organized.I also purchased an excellent Mary's organic turkey for last Thanksgiving.I don't think that any other store in Grand Junction offers them.A good all purpose health food store based in Colorado.

Not a regular shopper here but had the need for some vitamins today. The young lady that helped me(Fawn was her name), was an absolute rock star! For having only been working there for 3 months, her knowledge was out of this world. Knew where everything I was looking for was located, and had options for one of the items they were out of stock on. Will definitely go back when I need more vitamins. Didn't shop the rest of the store, but have in the past and a good selection of what you would expect at a Natural Grocer.

Truly a great experience I’ve had today. The people who are employed here are truly great people and incredibly helpful. I’d like to name Jinno, this man is truly a diamond in the rough and is by far the greatest and most helpful employee I’ve ever interacted with EVER. I came in not knowing any of the vitamins I was looking for but just a few names. He not only took the time to help me find the best vitamin or combination of vitamins but also at the best value. He truly did care and that’s something that’s special. You can tell when you’re in an outlet and the kid who’s working there just wants to go home versus someone who wants to be there and help. It’s truly profound how much one experience with a truly great employee has made my day. Truly from my heart Jinno thank you for a great experience and if the manager is reading this please give this man a promotion. He is truly 5 star material and I know so many businesses across the valley would kill for such a great employee. The easiest thing is finding people, it’s hard finding quality people so please recognize the great employee you’ve hired

If you're into heath products this is a great store to shop. From vitamins to food and beverages this is the go to spot. Reasonably priced, clean environment and friendly staff!

This is where the best produce can be found. I also love the way they rank their food choices, bronze silver or gold for animal treatment. This makes chosing easier! Sad about their weird return policy though. I bought a friend a Christmas gift that she already owned. It was a 3 part gift but... Surprise! They'll only allow 2 items off of any reciept to be returned...and you definitely need the receipt.Lesson learned: keep shopping to food purchases only, and don't try anything new!

Absolutely amazing staff. I arrived in a hurry (and in pretty moderate pain) only semi knowing what I was lookin for having never been in a place like this. The staff was so courteous and helpful and suggestive after asking what I was after and my problems <gout>. Left with well more than I intended, but far less than I was expecting to pay. Also gained quite a bit of information that I would not have gotten otherwise. Thank you guys. I will be back.

Had what I was looking for this time around. Previous visits to this location I've had to leave empty handed because they were out-of-stock & had no idea when the items would be in due to manufacture shortages. Staff is generally friendly, though I've also been ignored by employees in the aisles, too. Mask mandates are not currently being enforced in the GJ location as they are not mandated in the county.

Walked in like any other store in Mesa county. Dont have to wear a mask, do to medical conditions you cant even ask about Legally! 25 minutes after being in your store, this man that has asked us if we need help. He comes up with masks, saying I must wear a mask. I told him I cannot, he tells me they will not check me out without it. I told him I will leave. But wasting a half an hour of people's precious days are unnecessary and uncalled for.!!! Your store is not managed well at all!!!And you lost sales. I have alot of family!

If you need vitamins, go here. Still just like I remember them all the way back to Vitamin Cottage in Lakewood. They keep getting bigger and bigger without losing the small town atmosphere. Prices are very competitive to online, and the fresh produce is awesome. Stop in get your vitamin C on 😂
