Most all of their products are very good. I do recommend comparing prices and making sure they have what you want in stock. I transferred a rifle from their Dallas TX store and the transaction went smoothly.

Good selection and mostly the same prices as other Cabela's. The thing that sets this particular store apart is the odd behavior of some of the employees. One gentlemen follows you around and a couple other workers will sometimes snatch items out of your hand put devices on them and instead of handing them back to you to take up and purchase they simply put them back on the shelf or even at a workers station. Damned weirdest behavior I've ever seen. I think they have been hanging out with the Dillard's guys or something from last year's review.

They have the right amount of merchandise to choose from. Just like many other retailers today, they lack customer care. When I say customer care, I mean some of the staff really don't care what the customer experience is. Overall, I would still recommend this retailer.

As we all know the holidays can be a bit stressful for all. I experienced a very rude and foul mouthed man recently at this store mainly because his "needs" weren't being met. I have to give kudos where kudos are due because the Cabela's staff handled it very professionally and as quietly as they could. What I assume was the manager tried to do her best to handle his needs and it was apparent that he was not going to be happy no matter what treatment he was getting. Store was busy but I could honestly see that the staff was doing their best to get us all out in a timely manner. Thank you Cabela's Grand Junction for having what I needed and for showing class and patience in front of your customers. I will be back and highly recommend this store! Merry Christmas!

Some reviewers are unaware that they have a part to do themselves in use of such an amazing source. God himself feels honor back to the founding days of Cabela's. As Bass Pro, the current owner of the Cabela's corporation, stewards the way forward, customers need to do their part. Modern times bring challenges to the blessings on the outfit from the beginning, and the problems have to occur somewhere. An outfitter supplies goods to facilitate your interactions with mother nature, with the Earth, with family, friends and with yourself.Directors and managers have a real responsibility to do justice to the brand; if you can do better than they are, put in an application.There is a certain appreciation needed to make the wheels turn true. Plan well, order carefully and early, keep a spirit of gratitude. Endure setbacks as a test of character; do the right thing first yourself in response to issues. The miraculous often hides itself behind a veil of common worldly stuff. Back when Mr. Cabela started by offering tied fly fishing lures for mail order through magazine ads, the saying, "Great things start small," was proven.

Absolute terrible customer service. 1 register open with 14 people standing in line during Christmas. Management has nothing but attitude and could care less. I revieved a $100 gift card to this place and it'll go in the trash before I set foot in this place again. Not recommended.

Nice store, but pricey. We were able to use the facilities inside Cabela's and shop while our car charged. However there were only 7 or 8 stations and all were filled upon our arrival at 3pm. We had to wait 10 minutes or so for someone to vacate their slot. Most drivers were not in their cars when we arrived. They definitely need more chargers at this location since it is a high usage charging station.

The guy back by the fishing poles was so helpful and knowledgeable. It was great! He was able to help and answer all my questions. I was worried about going in by myself and left very thankful! Great customer service from the time I walked in the store. One of the girls walked me back to the fishing poles as I was lost.

The customer service is phenomenal. I come to the store almost weekly. With the absolutely terrible assistant at sportsman's Warehouse I will be coming to the store more often. I highly recommend. They are infinitly better than Sportsman's Warehouse

Overpriced. Bought two chairs (75 dollars each)there six months ago (rocking camping chairs) they have since fallen apart as if they were years old and kept in the sun all day every day. They were not, when not being actually used they were stored inside of our rv. Don't east your money, walmart probably has better quality and they are much cheaper.

I got pressured into buying something before my background check came back in order to get the background check started. I requested not to but got told it was better to do it this way so we were done and I could just come back and pick up my purchase. Then got told that someone uses the same name as me on my background is a possibility on why I got denied. I should have just been told I got denied and they will give me a form to appeal it. Along with that they should wait until the person buying a gun is done with their background check. Very disgruntled from the experience I had although Coz was amazing.

Cabela’ has a good selection of camping gear & the guy who was working the handgun section was friendly & very helpful.It’s nice to have a Cabela’s store in Grand Junction!Great place to get a gift card if you don’t quite know what the person you’re shopping for wants or needs.They’ve got gear for almost every outdoor activity & they’ve got slippers, gloves, house shoes, coolers, hunting gear, clothing, etc.The person you’re shopping for doesn’t have to be a hunter or outdoorsman to enjoy a gift from this massive store.They’ve got BBQ equipment, stuff for archery, fishing, target practice, and lots of great snack stuff like jerky, caramel corn, and whatever you need.I think I might camp out inside the store one day… Just kidding. Don’t do that.Check out Cabela’s & get what you need for the outdoors!
