We have been bringing all of our dogs to Amigo Clinic for a good 20 to 25years or more! They are absolutely excellent, and always have been! They truly show compassion, care, and love for animals! All of the Vets, and Vet assistants we have seen there have always been like this! They will talk to you and explain things to you in detail! Their front office help are all absolutely excellent also! Beautiful people!We dearly love Dr Garrett Carrico!I don't care if it is large or small animal they are attending to, Amigo Clinic is absolutely excellent!!

The vets and staff at this clinic have always been phenomenal to us, amd we have been coming here for nearly two decades. It doesn't matter who sees our dog, they (and we) are always treated so kindly, and proficiently. They clearly care, and are invested in the health of your pet nearly as much as you are (which is a lot!). I highly recommend them!

My Siberian husky was admitted to the animal ER overnight with severe pneumonia. Amigo took her as step-down the next day to continue the IV therapy and monitor her off oxygen. The staff did a great job and was very responsive and available for updates directly with Dr. Rivero

Everyone at Amigo was so kind and helpful when I had an animal attacked by a raccoon. They took care of everything efficiently and with great empathy. They have also done regular health checks on my cats and have great to work with! I highly recommend their skills and professionalism.

Amigo has always been so very caring of my pets, and I know they are well taken care of there. They stood by me thick and thin with my boy (Toby) who was diagnosed with SNP, and they were so compassionate when it was my boy’s time to go. They are always so full of compliments with my other dog, and they know how to make you feel like a great pet parent!! Very passionate people there at Amigo, and I will always refer them to those who ask.

I love the way my cats are cared for by everyone at Amigo Animal Clinic. We have been there several times for different appointments from routine care, dental care, and broken leg care. Each time, my cats receive high-quality and thorough care as if they belonged to the staff. I would not take them anywhere else.

Amigo Animal Clinic was amazing with my dog Mayzie. She was really sick I was worried I was losing her, they got her right in and did a great job of taking care of her. Got her diagnosed and on meds now she’s back to her normal cute self. I recommend them to anyone who wants their pet treated great.

I have both dogs and cats. Great vet services! Always have treated my pets with love and care. It's where all my fur babies get their check ups, shots, and any other needs. We've had to take our pit in for emergency reasons 3 times and every time they've been so helpful and careful with her! Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of pet services.

If I could only give one 5 star review for the rest of my life it would be for Amigos. Every single person in that building is incredible and cares so deeply for the animals. I want to personally shout out Dr. Jackie Rivero. I'm sure the other Doctors are amazing but I've only ever seen Dr. Jackie. McAyla Bramwell and Jamie Johnston were our Care Cordinators! They were absolutely amazing with our dogs and really helped educate us on everything they were doing and everything that effects our dogs! I have never felt that our dogs health were in better hands. As far as payments go they are super great at working out what is most important for your specific animal and what is most urgent! I could not in good conscious take my dogs to another vet ever again. After trying multiple vets this is far ahead in every way.

This clinic gives care based on the price tag, rather than caring about the animal or the customers first. Due to Amigo partnering with the place we got our kitten from we went to them. The place we received our kitten from did not give us a healthy kitten. We have worked hard to love, spoil and bring our kitten to health and every single time we brought her in to Amigo we were met with a minimum of $100 bill. When we took her in for a recent issue they threatened to hold our cat hostage until we paid and then today when we made the statement we cannot afford their outrageous prices the vet’s solution was that they could re-home her. My pet is my family and nothing will prevent me from giving her the proper care she deserves but I will be taking her to my preferred vet from now on where they care about the animals more than price tag associated with their care. I had a cat go in for anesthesia surgery, and re-checks never cost additional for less than $100. It is a shame companies in town choose to support this place.

Took my cat (who hates going to the vet) in. Vet techs were very understanding of his protective personality and were not afraid of him. They were kind and even played calming music for my cat. Had so many treatment options as well. Wonderful experience.

Worst vet in town! Said they didn't judge about me breeding my dog then emergency spayed her without my permission after leaving her in a kennel trying to pass her last puppy for 2 hours. Spaying without consent is a pretty stiff judgement. Then they said this has happened before and that they needed 40 days to review this case before deciding if they should pay me back. She apologized for "not explaining it right" and said my dog must have been pretty expensive as she smirked at me. They are opposed to breeding and not afraid to do whatever necessary to stop it! $2,500 is what it cost for them to ruin my business and put my dog through more pain! I CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU GUYS IN COURT, YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS BIG TIME! Vet and vet tech, 😉😉You guys have been doing shady business for a long time and it's time for karma! We did our homework and have recordings of everything you and her said. You will be very sorry you didn't accept our first offer. I am glad you didn't. Vet spayed my French bulldog after I told both him and vet tech that I planned on breeding her again. They ruined our pet! And still took our money! WOW!!!! You owe us a new female and our money back!! We recorded the whole conversation!

Excellent clinic!! Highly recommended!! Took my dog here on a last minute situation, they were able to squeeze me in same day. Very compassionate Vet and vet techs. They're extremely knowledgeable and make everything easy to understand and are upfront with pricing. If your on the western slope and your pup isn't feeling well, I would call them first above anyone else.

My 13 year old dachshund was bloating out and vomiting and her regular vet wasn’t open. I took her to Amigo and they had me in within 15 minutes. Dr Gitchell and assistants were so helpful, kind, and clear in their communication. After going here I think I might want to switch my veterinarian!

I belong to a family who breeds dogs for a living. My family took their extremely expensive breeding Frenchie in for a routine check-up. Although we trusted their "expertise," we got her back spayed. Neither my family nor myself, will ever be using their clinic again.

Amigo Animal Clinic. I have had 2 dogs in here multiple times and am disappointed in their record keeping, diagnostics and treatment plans. I took Tara in for arthritis in late 2022 for arthritis. Dr. Bridges did and examine and ordered Carprofen (anti-inflammatory) and gave her a 3 year rabies shot, cool. Took Sami in a few months later for what I believed was a mouth or throat obstruction. Dr. Bridges, without even looking at her mouth or throat ordered "Dental" to the tune of $1300.00 and gave her a 1 year rabies shot. I did not realize the discrepency in the rabies shot until after I had left.They had my last name spelled wrong and even though I gave them veterinary paperwork from their previous vet, they had both dogs birthdates wrong. No big deal, stuff happens. Fast forward to late Aug. early Sept. this year, 2023. Tara is having breathing troubles, she is 10 yrs old and we hike. They keep her for the afternoon, run blood work, sedate her for other tests, send us home with a "we really have no idea" to the tune of $900.00. Ok, Taras' symptoms subside with the cooler weather. Last week, Tara has an abcess/cyst behind her leftear. I take her in. Dr. Rivero or something like that, says they have to keep her and sedate her. I ok this.All they did was supposedly sedate her ( which is dangerous by itself for any pet) and shave the hair off around the abscessed area. They did not drain nor lance the abscess, sent me home with antibiotics and the cone of shame, to the tune of $500.00. I have been as understanding and forgiving as I can be. I grew up on a working farm with countless animals and types of animals. I will not ever be returning to Amigo Animal Clinic. They are very nice and cordial (reason for 2 stars instead of one).

I am completely shock how the cat I took into them, because he was bleeding out of his nose. The charged me with $440.00 extensive blood work. He needed antibiotics which I got from Loma Cat Shelter that may have been water done, because I gave the cat all the antibiotic but it DID NOT help, so I took him back to Amigo because now he had a white film on his left eye and they provided more Clavamox and urgent cat food, because he was not eating well because he had so much pain in his mouth and throat. This POOR cat has been in pain since December 18, 2023 and I have not found anyone with compassion for this cat. I am not a vet, but common sense will tell you that with all the pain this cat was enduring, why oh why didn't someone provide pain medication for this cat. Did they really think that antibiotic would take the pain away??? I called Amigo yesterday and asked for pain medication and they provided me with ONSIOR which DID NOT WORK, I called this morning very concerned about the medications they have been prescribing and was told that the doctor may not be able to retune my call for several days WOW that's what I call customer service and I see that it is all about the money, if they can have you to continue to bring the cat in multiple time they profit. They showed no compassion for MY CAT.I am so disappointment in the care they have provided for my cat, they provided me with cat food, RIGHT ...the cat CANNOT EAT! He has too much pain in his mouth. You would think with the extensive blood work did they would have been able to provide me with better information on what is going on with my cat.I asked Amigo for a pain med and they gave me and enzyme and inflammation blocker. I DID NOT ASK FOR A BLOCKER. This is why all their medication are labeled Medication cannot be returned is this a scam or what. WHO CAN YOU TRUST???

I much appreciated the visit I had at the clinic with Dr. Rivero and the tech, Jamie today to discuss my Pomeranian with follow up medication. Dr. Rivero was so thorough in her examination of my pet and discussing her medication. It was so helpful to be able to get an appointment quickly while traveling on the road, even more so one that provided time for questions and answers as well as an exam. Thank you so much!

I’ve been coming to Amigo for a couple years no with my Dog, Thor. Recently Thor was hit by a car and broke his leg. I can’t say enough about how wonderful Dr. Carrica Dr. Gitchell, Dr. Johnston, and the amazing team of Vet techs have been. From the immediate event, getting referral for surgery, and aftercare the Amigo team not only provided exceptional care but they convey warmth and clearly make decisions as if it were their own pets seeking medical attention.

Great experience with their staff and especially their neuro-surgeon, they diagnosed our pup with a herniated disk after weeks of us not knowing why he was in so much pain and so sensitive. Dr. Maguireperformed surgery on him and he was almost immediately relieved of his pain and he could start walking again within a few days, even though he was not supposed to ;) . I recommend them and I our little Kovu is doing great now with a full recovery. Thank you guys.

Had an interesting morning at Amigo Animal Clinic. When I took Maude's carrier out of the car the "angel" had opened it and took off. I stuck my head in the door and told them we might be a bit late since she had taken off and immediately the staff ran out to help. They also called the businesses close by and while i was hobbling around (got my cardio!) they were also looking. The vet and a tech finally found her under a car and the little snot ran right to them. She got 2 richly deserved shots and we are back home. I just want to thank the staff at Amigo for their help and caring today!
