They normally close at 9pm but tonight they closed at 8pm. Not cool. It appeared that they closed at 8pm b/c they were walking to their cars when I drove in at 8:10pm. Actually they closed at 7pm.

Today I went into Dollar General as I normally do for a few items that I needed. I am a long time local in Grand County and have made great relationships with almost every single employee at dollar general. Today I had to experience Probably the worst customer service, unprofessionalism, and extremely aggressive "manager" at the store by the name "Larissa". This extremely rude individual started my visit by walking away from the counter as I started to walk up to the cash register to check out. As I patiently waited at the counter for her she then said I'll be with you in a minute.. (those lines should of been said at the beginning). Anyways okay! She proceeds then to come over and aggressively starts scanning my items and hestient to even ask her at this point I kindly asked if I could have a bag!(Lesson learned!! Don't ask for a bag) 😂She rolls her eyes, takes off from the counter, comes back from the back room with a very large brown box and proceeds to slam the entire box on the ground!!!!! What!!??At this point I'm being treated very disrespectfully, poorly, and just extremely unprofessional.. I said "you know, don't worry about it! I don't need a bag" she then makes a scene involving other customers and said you made me go get this entire box and bring it out here so now your going to take the bag that I already charged you for... (Dooley noted, they charge you for paper brown bags but don't tell you tell after the payment goes through! I believe that's going against a few laws but hey at this point she doesn't seem to care much for her job!)I grabbed my paid for items and walked out.. just blown away by the entire experience really! Unfortunately she was the only worker available so I was not able to talk to anyone else.Management classes and experience goes along way and being a kind human being goes even further. I've never seen this lady in my life and she claims to be the manager. This lady did not just treat me poorly but she also caused a scene in front of other customers as well over a bag. If she gets that angry over a bag then please find some anger management classes as well!Word of mouth goes further then social media in a small town! Be nice 🙂

They have always been really great there the lady my cashier told me about downloading the app so I don't have to try keeping receipts in my purse to get the $5 off on Saturday and oh by the way you need to make it more than Saturday I work and I'll be damned if I'm going to go shopping on Saturdays today was like a one-off for me

This has to be the worst dollar general ever. If they don't open up on time they are closed thats your 2 choices.All the employees look like that hate their life and nothing is ever stocked and never clean. Been shut down now for almost a week and I feel like they just don't care.

This review is very much overdue. The women working here, September, held this store together. You can hear this kind women greeting and helping absolutely every single customer that entered the store- not an exageration. She was multitasking many tasks from stocking products quickly and helping everyone out. If she didnt know where something was when you asked she would go out of her way to locate it. She was a ray of sunshine. Managment material.

I CANT BELIEVE IT IT IS 8:27 AND THEY SAY ITS CLOSE AT 9 THEY SHOT THE DOORS BEFORE TIME I WILL SAY 5 MIN BEFORE BUT HALF AND HOUR BEFORE I IM VERY DISSATISFIED.

I was actually impressed. Maybe a few things out of place but go check out the apparel! There are very few dollar generals I've been to (100's) that have their apparel organized by item and size with nothing fallen on the floor or shelves! Also they had most items completely stocked, which was unexpected as well because it's a small town so I assume they have a large amount of business. When I'm in the area I'll stop in for sure. FYI the manager and staff were super friendly, FAST, and efficient, which to me is the best qualities I look for at DG. As long as those are met I could care less how organized the store is! Kudos to the DM for keeping his stores up to par.

I always buy my nicotine gum here.....Send in my adult son and he asks the manager where to find.....rudely she says she doesn't carry it....so I drive 30 minutes to pick it up....because yes y'all carry......I see clearance seed starter......go back ask the manager where it has been moved..... rudely she said it will be back in Spring, next day I go look for myself....there it is I buy all 4 bagsThe older lady is amazing, but the skinny younger looking one is a ¥÷==÷%^™=

The only good thing about my experience today was the cashier was extremely pleasant other than that the store was absolutely filthy there was restock everywhere on carts on the floor and the shelves were pretty much empty very disappointed will not return

Lots of great items! Milk, frozen foods and other items available if you don't want to drive way out to the grocery store. Thank you for the convenience! Nice store and clerks!

Bought some $7 ski gloves here. Kept my hands way warmer and drier than my brothers who got gloves for $15 at Safeway. Worth it to stop here for the price and it's closer.

So happy to have this store in our community. It really is the only place we have up hear for things like socks and underwear and if you have kids you completely understand the necessity of this.

Anita the cashier and manager must have been having a terrible day. She angrily threw my items into the bags and on the floor I get people have bad days but no one deserves to be treated the way she treated me and my children. The Dollar General must be a high stress job! I'd go elsewhere.

Desperately needed an alternative place to shop. This is a dollar and up store offering quick shopping and inexpensive prices on everyday items. They have housewares, toys, art supplies, and a grocery section.
