My visit to Dr. Brooks' veterinary clinic left me feeling incredibly uneasy. Not only was his demeanor unsettling, but I was taken aback when he started sniffing my dog during the examination. It was a strange and uncomfortable moment that made me question his professionalism and approach to animal care. Needless to say, I won't be returning to his practice.

Dr. Brooks is amazing! I live in Denver and will drive to his clinic any day of the week if needed. His attention to detail is unparalleled and his experience in veterinary medicine is extensive. He puts emotion aside and gets right to the point…. A quality a would want for myself as a patient from their physician. He tells it like it is and advocates for all his patients which is a wonderful quality, considering all of his patients cannot advocate for themselves.

We can never give Dr. Brooks enough stars or compliments. He is there for this community in an amazing way. If you ever have any emergency, Dr. Brooks is incredible. If you need shots, dog food, medication, or just check ups, Dr. Brooks is there for you. If you ever have an animal that you can't figure out what's wrong with, Dr. Brooks will do everything he possibly can and send you to the right person if he can't figure it out. We owe him and his staff such a huge debt of gratitude for everything they have done for us.Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

Dr. Brooks is an excellent veterinarian. He’s the only doctor me and my family use here in Grand county. He truly cares about the animals and he doesn’t charge you an arm and a leg for basic pet services! He is a great guy and would recommend him to anyone with a cat or dog!!

Dr Brooks is a great veterinarian! He has helped us with our Pets for over 16 years. He gives it to you straight and his prices are very reasonable. He also sells good dog food at a great price.

I wish I could give 6 stars out of 5 to Dr. Brooks. Over my lifetime of seeking care for my pets, I confidently state that Dr. Brooks is the very best of all. We recently moved to Morrison, CO, and we still drive 90 miles one-way to take our dog to Dr. Brooks. He is that good. Thank you, Dr. Brooks--you are one of Grand County's treasures.

Couldn't ask for a better vet more caring more Humane more charitable.October 2021 update.Dr Brooks has been caring for our dogs for over 10 years. Routine care, emergency care and euthanasia, all done with sincere concern for the dogs well being. Staff has been excellent as well. Highly recommended.Great selection and prices for quality food.Updated March 2024We had to euthanize our 15 year old Miniature Dacshound this week. Dr Brooks and staff were as usual very professional and compassionate offering privacy. We had her cremated and ashes returned to us at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend

I am very happy with my experience with Dr. Brooks. My dog had a serious wound opening that resulted in Myaisis (maggots). Very scary, I know !! I called Dr. Brooks at 8am from Kremmling and he said “come right now”. He got Loki in right away, it was such a fast appointment and procedure !. He treats dogs very nice and I am happy with our experience. I believe Dr. Brooks has a lot of knowledge when it comes to his job !

In this small community of Granby Colorado we are so blessed to have such a caring VeterinarianWho shows his concern and Love for his patience for our pets. We had an emergency with our Golden Retriever late one weekend and he opened his clinic to assist us and care for our dog.We came up to the mountains from Lone Tree and thought we had a good veterinarian, but they cant hold a candle to the service, care and help we get taking care of our animals

I moved up here recently, and my little doggy started fainting. I brought him to a local vet who said it was just him getting used to the high altitude. When my doggy stopped eating I brought him to Dr. Brooks who immediately put my dog on heart medication. Dr Brooks also gave me his personal number to call in case my dog went into "crisis mode." My little man has and is slowly recovering and I'm just glad I got him to Brooks when I did (actually may I didn't sooner!) Very happy to have gone here and I recommend to anyone with dog or cat!!

Visiting from Denver for the weekend with my 5YO border collie who has a history of spiking fevers (fever of unknown origin) wasn’t feeling well. She had not had a flare for awhile and I forgot to bring her supplies (thermometer, prednisone and fluids for giving SubQ). She spiked to 105 degrees and Dr Brooks dealt with my bursting into tears over the phone and was so kind when we got to his office. He was so sweet to my dog. He took the time to talk through her medical history and made suggestions for handling her fever. I took his advice to not give her prednisone and to give her more of a doggy ibuprofen of sorts and he sent us on our way with options for treatment just in case one thing didn’t end up working, as well as some advice for a less invasive cooling process (stand in deep snow or cool water in a bathtub). It worked and my dog was feeling better and interested in food, within 1.5 hours. We were able to even go on a nice walk later on. I really appreciate his compassion and suggestion for trying something a bit different and the cost was reasonable! Highly recommend!

Visiting Granby and our little dachshund was up all night shaking his head. I called the vet and got us right in. We learned he had allergies. He was very informative. If we live here we would have Brooks Vet as our vet.

I couldn't say more good things about Dr. Brooks. I live in Granby, but called my normal vet in Fraser about my cat being paralyzed in her back legs. I never received a return call. Called Dr. Brooks the next morning scared and even though I wasn't currently a client he fit us in immediately, and was empathetic but also realistic. Despite the outlook, thanks to Dr. Brooks quick response my sweet cat is doing so much better. Would recommend him to anyone. He really cares about animals

Dr. Brooks and all of the vet techs here are amazing. They take such good care of my puppy and are very knowledgeable! When my puppy had an emergency, Dr. Brooks was able to help us and get my pup all recovered. We are so lucky to have an amazing vet like him in our small town.

After my usual vet in Fraser gave me a medication for my dog that nearly killed him a few years ago (and was flagged on his profile), I thankfully realized after they had closed that it was the same medication and didn't give it to him. Since they were closed the next 3 days I frantically looked around for other vets that were open in the area and found Dr. Brooks. He took me and my dog in immediately, listened and empathized with my situation and provided the appropriate medication to help my dog at a very reasonable price. My dog is doing much better now thanks to the help of Dr. Brooks and he gained a new client. Thanks again!

Today in the morning my wife called Dr Brooks to see if he could take care of my chihuahua that in the last days has had breathing problemsAlthough a family from Granby recommended him to me, giving good references to him, today he was very impolite and rude. I think he reserves the right to receive whoever he likes, but the way I treat my wife leaves a lot to talk about him as a professional.I would not like any explanation or comment from Brooks vet, I just know that how you treat them, they will treat you, you are the most despotic person I have ever met

Dr. Brooks was amazing! He was efficient and so helpful with my dog when she needed stitches in her paw. It is easy to tell that he loves what he does and he has a true passion for providing medical care for animals and making sure our fur-babies are well cared for. I would definitely recommend bringing your pet in to him! One tip I would give is to call ahead and see how busy he is prior to coming in to see him because he can get busy quickly! Thank you Dr. Brooks!
