Loved this little book store! The owner was very friendly and helpful. He even has a sweet little dog that will come over for some loving. I bought a couple of books and a fancy journal! If you are looking for a cute, unique journal, this is the place.

Great bookstore. The owner is extremely helpful. There is a great variety of many, many books, used and some new. The gentleman behind the counter knew exactly which bookcase shelf and exact spot of every book I inquired about. He also pointed out that for the price of one new book from a particular series I'm diving into that I could purchase 2 used books from the same series. I appreciated being pointed out the bargain. I found the used books in the shop to be well loved but not abused. Books are in good shape and fair prices. The shop is well maintained and cozy. The docile dog curled up in the armchair made the experience all the better and more memorable.

Wandered in here while taking a break to eat on a road trip--and didn't want to leave! The owner is so sweet and helpful and really made us feel welcome to browse and talk about books. Definitely want to stop in every time I'm passing through.

I live in Georgia now and miss this bookstore more than ever. The lady that runs the store is always welcoming and I love her book recommendations. The books are in great condition with very fair prices for used and new. The shop is a little bit small, but it's always been clean. They usually put some classics in the windows that's just so much fun! I can't wait to get back to my bookstore someday, and I always recommend it for anybody that's going to Glenwood Springs.

Quaint bookstore, pretty close to the main strip. Great prices, honestly, all of mine were $5 each! They have a bunch of vinyl records, but many duplicates. I would definitely go here again. Great finds and nice people.

Fabulous little book shop! There are all kinds of cool treasures to be found on their shelves. Great used finds at good prices, some new books as well. Lots of books about the local area and history. I could spend all day (and half my paycheck) here easily. They even had some bins of old LP records. Very friendly people! One of my new favorite spots in Glenwood! See you again soon.

How can anyone not love a book store? The book grove is charming from the inside out, and the owner (I'm assuming) is perfectly lovely and wonderful to chat with. She even made recommendations based on what she saw in my hand.The store is organized and comfortable, and I can say with confidence I'll happily pop in anytime I'm in town.

Sheri was so nice ! I looked for local bookstores while on vacation in Glenwood Springs, and this one popped up. She was just opening when I got there on Sunday (which she normally isn't open on), inviting me in and recommending me books. She was asking what genres I liked, and ran with what I told her. She recommended some great books! I fell in love with both the recommendations I ended up getting. If you're looking for some good LGBTQ+ literature , she has a few good selections ! Super warm and attentive to what I was looking for. I'm so sad I couldn't swing by again before I left, but I will definitely be back when I'm in the area.She even has a few boxes full of free books! Overall cozy store, and I would give more stars if i could.

Excellent small locally owned book shop. Nice selection that is constantly being updated by the tireless efforts of the owner. Great place and worth a visit. In regards to the negative review below, our local Book Grove here in Glenwood Springs is NOT the Book Grove on Amazon that you are referring to with your one star.

I don't use the word "cute" a lot. Well, I mean with dogs I will. Puppies mostly, but I suppose all dogs as a whole. Dang, I guess I use it more than I realized. Whatever. I don't use "cute" to describe a business usually.But I do here!We were in town for some family gathering things, and we stopped in to kill some time. Ended up spending a decent chunk of time here, perusing perusing perusing.Not the biggest bookstore, not by a long long shot. Not the most organized bookstore, again, by a long shot. But the selection is decent, the oddities are pretty good, and we certainly found some good items.The owner was there, happily greeting everyone with a smile and a 5 second spiel about where to find certain categories and genres. She was SO nice, so pleasant, so talkative. Very cool.Loved hanging out. Smelled lovely, like books and a slight fragrance of herbs or long-forgotten perfume.Cute, quaint, lovely, homey-feeling, and just obviously someone's very special work and purpose.I look forward to coming back in next time through town.

Stopped in and found some great stuff. Decided to walk around downtown for a bit and on our way back the owner flagged us down (literally ran out) to tell us he found some books in a free box we might like. 5 is the max I can give, so 5 it is.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!I ordered a cook book from this store through Amazon online and it was suppose to be NEW AND A HARD COVER. However, when I received the book in the mail it wreaked of cigaret smoke, it was a soft cover book, and had folded pages. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE - VERY DISHONEST!! What you see online is NOT what your going to get!
