Our group of 9... 3 adults and 6 children were in need of some food on the way back home from a weekend in the mountains. We stumbled across Mother's Saloon on Google. Saw the reviews and the prices and decided to check it out. The food was delicious, the bartender was great, as was the rest of the staff and who we assume was the owner. The kids loved playing pool and watching some Australian guys sing along to 90's music. Given how many people we had, the price was great! I highly recommend the cheese steak or a burger. Both were huge and tasty! 10/10 would visit again.Kid-friendliness: It's not the perfect kid-friendly spot. But for a family with older kids, it was a good find.

Great place to go. A bit of a hidden gem on the way back from skiing. Everybody goes for the Philly cheese steak and the beers. They have Pabst Blue ribbon services. Pretty good. Got pool table there. If you're lucky you'll see people getting through a fight... Haha. You can always park out front if you follow Google maps. It'll take you a roundabout way but it's really right off the highway.

It's a cute little dive bar in Georgetown that has a pool table crammed into the corner of the joint. Food here is really good and served late aswell as all the staff are friendly and quick. The pool table plays well however a lot of the time people sitting around the bar will get in the way.Parking: Never an issue always nice and easy in and out.

PREDATOR ALERT: Hyper aggressive predators roofied my girlfriend while she was with her parents here. Thank God they were there and the people who did it were situationally idiotic. Lackluster response from the staff to say the least as if they cared more about the business than the safety of their patrons. To the average person BE WARNED keep an eye on who pours your drink all the way back to your table. Wouldn't want this to happen to someone else but it'll be a decade or more before we assume they moved or got thrown in jail for us to ever consider returning.

Great local bar and restaurant. The service was good and friendly. The hamburger was very good and the french fries were excellent. You can eat/drink outside right alongside a good sized creek. The bar/restaurant is a local favorite which is usually a good indication. Would go back anytime.

Awesome spot! You'd think 10pm bar food would be low quality at best but they exceeded expectations plus some. Bartender (Margaret) was fabulous and definitely deserves a raise! Environment was awesome. Food was shockingly good. Would recommend to anyone looking for those late night, small town digs.

WE LOVE MOTHERS!!! This bar is my family's MUST STOP bar anytime we're near Georgetown. I highly recommend the Philly Cheese Steaks, they're to DIE for also the Shot-Ski is such an awesome deal [buy 3 shots get one FREE]. Great little dive bar. If you're looking for multiple servers attentive your whims, this is not the place for you. If you want great draft beer and quality Philly cheesesteaks, welcome! This is a second home for some locals so don't be shy about respectfully asking/fetching what you need.

The staff were friendly, and although the night prevented the beauty of the surroundings, it's in a perfect spot. The building, interior, and cleanliness did not match the place it was sitting at. It's more of the local's hole in the wall. Usually, that's great, but this wasn't. I didn't order food due to this but can't judge since I didn't eat.

Really enjoy dive style places like this with great food, atmosphere, and staff. Would recommend trying the Philly cheese steak if you're in Georgetown.Great music selection with the juke box that has the ability to hook up to your phone. It's definitely more of a local favorite, but the best place I ate in town.

Came to Mother’s last night and ordered a sandwich, mozzarella sticks, and 2 beers. The drinks were served pretty quickly, but the bartender and the cook seemed like they were too busy taking shots with their friends to make our food. Took almost a full hour before we got our food. Seems like an okay place to get drinks but an hour for mozzarella sticks is wild

Great, cool little bar. Don't let the name fool you, it's got more of a traditional bar vibe with good rock music and fantastic bar service. My wife and I got burgers, which were delicious and cold beer from the tap. Super satisfying end to a full day of hiking in the mountains. Highly recommended.

My buddy and I were coming down the mountain, on our motorcycle’s, from Guanella Pass and decided to stop in at Mothers for a quick beer. As we pulled up the owner, Dean, came out and said he was closed and was just waiting for a delivery. As we started to get back on he ask were we wanting food or maybe just a beer. We told him just a beer so he said come on in. He poured us beers and for the next 1 1/2 hours we all talked and laughed. Thank you Dean for making a memory that will last a lifetime. Can’t wait to go back for the food which I hear is awesome.

Mother’s saloon is a great bar option with loyal locals that’s equally well suited for a meal among friends if you’re staying in town, or just looking for an excellent meal right off I-70. Don’t let the dive bar exterior and chalkboard menu fool you, every dollar goes into the service, food, and drinks that they provide.Their menu is limited with good reason, they have mastered the options and will wow you with any order. Their bar menu, on the other hand, is anything but limited, with numerous local beer options and a fully stocked selection of spirits and mixers. The order to serve time is under 15 minutes and is the best option in town for a quality meal without sacrificing any more roadtrip time than fast food in Idaho Springs.If you find yourself in Georgetown, either for gas and a bite, or a stay in town, you are cheating yourself if you skip the chance to eat here. Do yourself a favor, and get the cheesesteak, you may end up planning another roadtrip just to taste it again.
