The staff here is absolutely incredible. Views are amazing. Had a 4 day ski trip planned here in the area. First day on the slopes I broke my knee bad and had to have surgery that day. I was stuck in my hotel room my remaining days here. I couldn't of asked for a better place to be. Kerry and Danyel were very helpful in keeping me comfortable for my remaining stay and very understanding. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're in the area. My room was clean and comfortable and nice to stay in.

Stayed here with my 11-y/o daughter twice recently on overnight ski trips. This place is wonderful. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the place is clean (including the elevator, breakfast area, and pool area), and the rooms are nice and reasonably priced. The lobby also has a nice double-sided fireplace that puts out a lot of warmth and provides a nice ambience for playing some board games (which we did) or enjoying a nice conversation.Breakfast is simple but good, and the coffee is among the best at any similarly-priced hotel I've stayed at for ski trips. It's not burned or overly bitter, and they provide real milk and half-and-half (not just "creamer") to put in it which I greatly appreciated. The food options included things like yogurt, pancakes, various pastries, some fruit, and some bagels - that sort of thing. However, if you wanted to bring your own food from home (like frozen breakfast sandwiches or something), you could. The rooms all have mini-fridges and microwaves. If you forget your water bottle, no problem. They keep a large container filled with water and ice in the breakfast area that can be accessed anytime (at least, from what I saw) and has cups next to it.Rooms are clean and modern with a design aesthetic that's simple and geared towards Eco-friendliness. Our room both times was on the side facing I-70 which meant we had some nice views of the hillside and could scout for Bighorn Sheep in the mornings!Parking was pleasantly convenient too. I've stayed at similar hotels where if you have to park at one end or the other, it meant walking all the way back to the main entrance in the middle. Not here. The doors at the end could be opened with my key card, so all I had to do was park near the door and I could walk right in.As bad as the traffic on I-70 has gotten these days... even on weekdays... I'm immensely grateful for this place to help break up the drive and make it faster and easier to reach the slopes in the morning.

My wife and I booked a last minute stay at this hotel for the night before Thanksgiving. The staff was super friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was decent. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is the due to the overall build of the hotel. The cheap construction allows for all ambient noises to seep into your room. People walking around and talking in the halls and adjacent rooms are hard to ignore. The highway (while super convenient) is also so close that you hear the loud trucks go by. The rate for a room is really reasonable. The pet fee is pretty steep at $40.00 per pet per night. Overall a great spot along the I-70 corridor as you head to the divide.

If you are looking for a decent place to stay at a great rate, w very friendly and accommodating staff look no further! From the moment we walked through the door till we left this morning they always had smiles on their faces and wanted to know if we needed anything. Elevator was a smooth ride, rooms were very clean and put together. (See pics) the beds were extremely comfortable and so were the pillows. Hot tub and pool were nice. Breakfast was a 4. I personally would have rather had sausage and eggs over the burrito but the coffee was excellent and the pancake maker was super cute! There is a fire place welcoming you in from the cold and coffee and tea and hot cocoa is available 24/7. Overall this was a great stay, quiet and very relaxing.

We unexpectedly needed a room for 1 night because the Airbnb we rented had multiple safety, security, and cleanliness issues, so we checked out of that house early. When I called to see if the Microtel had a room for 2 on the top floor, backside of the building (away from street noise), the lady was extremely nice, understanding, and helpful. She booked a room that fit our needs at a slightly discounted rate. She even offered for us to check in early. The hotel was easy to access from the main road and close to restaurants, gas stations, and convenience stores. The room was very clean, neat, and comfortable! It came with a mini fridge and microwave, which was helpful. But there was no in-room coffee maker, so we went downstairs the next morning for coffee in the main serving area. Not a big deal, but it's preferable to make coffee in the room first. The view of the lake was nice. The entire staff was kind and helpful! The breakfast was a fairly standard continental breakfast except we didn't see many gluten free options for my allergy.I recommend this hotel to travelers!

I stayed at the Microtel Inn & Suites in Georgetown, and it worked out well. Let me share why.Location: The hotel is close to Loveland, which is great for snowboarders like me. After hitting the slopes, I could easily get back to my room.Food and Gear: There are restaurants nearby, so I never went hungry. Plus, renting gear was a breeze.Denver Access: Being near Denver was handy. If I wanted city vibes or catch a flight, it was right there.Clean and Easy: The hotel was clean, and checking in and out was smooth. No fuss. Conclusion: For a hassle-free stay near Loveland, consider Microtel Inn & Suites. 🏂🏨

We booked a last minute room Friday night and Kerry was so accommodating and even gave us a discount for not going through a third party! Today I looked at my bank statement and we got charged twice, I called and spoke with Carrie and she was able to refund me immediately! We will definitely be back!Nearby activities: The views are incredible and the lake is a two minute walk!

Nice ladies at the desk and friendly staff in the morning. Clean rooms, newer, minimal chips on corners. Sparkling clean bathroom and a large shower with an intrusive shower curtain. A view of the lakes and nextdoor pub from my room. A view of the mountainside for bighorn sighting on the other side.Nearby activities: We came to Georgetown for the lightshow train ride. They have a Polar Express for the kiddos too. Lots of things in Georgetown but a must is Coopers for dinner.

Hotel is decent and near where we want to ski, but the customer service (Kerry she is terrible) it has a very low standard, they charged my credit card twice and when I asked for explanation was very rude and treat us in a very low/poor customer service care. She had the worst actitud and smart a@$ answers, definitely will not stay again and do not advise to deal with her and to the manager and/or owner operator to watch how she deal with customers

New, modern, convenient hotel right on Georgetown Lake. I had a room with 1 queen bed that was very comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff. I really enjoyed the indoor hot tub, but the pool was ice cold. The pancake machine at breakfast was fun to use. My room faced the highway but the noise level wasn’t bad at all. I would definitely stay here again.Nearby activities: Plenty of hiking trails nearbyWalkability: The trail that goes around Georgetown Lake starts across the street.Food & drinks: There’s a brewery/restaurant next door, right on the lake.Noteworthy details: The indoor pool was not heated and felt ice cold during my visit. The hot tub was great, though.

Microtel turned an otherwise horrible evening into a great stay! We originally booked a hotel in Denver for a late night arrival, and after that was scrapped due to the condition, location, and safety of the original hotel we drove out of Denver toward Georgetown Lake. The staff was spectacular, the rooms were absolutely perfect (2 queen beds with a window seat that doubled as a bed for my son that didn't want to sleep with anyone). The breakfast was delicious and saved us $50 easily! The staff was friendly and super helpful considering we pulled into the parking lot at 3 AM and were only looking for a place to sleep for a few hours. Highly recommend, and would definitely return!!Rooms: Easily sleeps 4 (maybe 5 if you have a small child)

Great place to stay in Georgetown when doing the Santa train there with a ride in the lighted forest. Not too far from town, a nice 30 min walk to it. The rooms were modern and clean. Had a good view of the lake and mountains from the rear hotel rooms. It would be nice to provide fans in the rooms or be able to run the heating/cooling with constant fan on as I sleep better with white noise and air blowing. The bathroom and shower were pretty good though the sink area was a little tight. The continental breakfast provided was quite good in that boiled eggs were provided in addition to hot toast and pancake options.Pricier than other options in Georgetown, otherwise would visit again if comparable!

I have been here for a week and I love everything about this place! Every member of the staff has been incredible! They all are so friendly and helpful and they all seem so happy to be working here! My room was spotlessly clean. The setting in Georgetown is breathtakingly beautiful being totally surrounded by massive Colorado Rocky Mountains and overlooking Georgetown Lake. The whirlpool spa is spacious and clean and wonderful after a day of skiing or hiking. The pool is also heated to a nice temperature. The free breakfast was very convenient for getting my day started. I already can't wait to come back soon!!!

It was ok. Our room was a little over $200. Very small room. Very dark (we had to use our iphones as flashlights to see the clothes in our luggage. Bathroom countertop didn't have room for my blow dryer and flat iron. No chair to sit on (except for hard style office chair). Breakfast was "so so". The positives? The breakfast lady was really nice. The shower was also nice. I wish we would have driven a little further to Frisco and stayed at the AC Marriott. Definitely NOT worth the $200 price tag.

We had to fly out to Colorado and pack up our daughters house after she passed away and drive her belongings back to ca. We stopped here for the night before the rest of our 18 hr drive home. The place was nice and the little town was so cute. However, in the rush to get back on the road so we could make it home to our other children, I left my favorite and expensive pair of Victoria secret pants and a tank top in our room. I called that day within an hour of leaving to notify them and arrange payment to have them shipped back. The girl at the desk informed us they hadn’t cleaned our room yet and to call back the next day as they’d “most likely” be turned in by then. So I did. She insisted housekeeping didn’t turn them in so they must not be there. I know for a fact I left them there, I even told her exactly where they were in the room and asked her to check. She said they weren’t turned in and sorry that’s all she can do. I asked her to please find out who cleaned the room and ask them. She couldn’t be bothered. So either the maid kept them or they were turned in and someone else who works there must’ve kept them. Not honorable practices AT ALL!

I want to thank Jade for making this experience fantastic for me and my husband. She literally made sure that we were completely satisfied with our stay. We had a beautiful view of the lake. It was a fantastic continental breakfast. The pool and hot tub were an extra bonus. We will definitely be returning specifically because of the service we received from Jade and the rest of the team. Thanks ladies see you soon.

We rented two rooms here when we rescued my sister from domestic abuse and started bringing her home to Florida on a road trip. She wanted to spread her dad's ashes along the way, so the night we rented rooms, we had just had a really emotional day. I walked in and was greeted by two very sweet women. I smiled and said hi to them, and one of the women, Lisa, complimented my hair and outfit. I told her it was my birthday, and shared my story with them. I got emotional, and they showed me sympathy and understanding. Danyel worked with me on booking a room for my sister and her service dog and a room for my husband and I. She was very knowledgeable and polite, always had a smile, answered all my questions, explained the room rates and policies, and was quickly getting us our room keys and giving us directions to our rooms so we could relax. Both ladies were so kind, and they made me feel welcome from the second I walked in. It was so nice to be treated like a human. Danyel got us great rooms, they were clean and had soft towels. We all slept comfortably. The bathrooms were big. The location is beautiful and close to things to do. We will definitely be staying there again when we visit in the future. Thank you Lisa and Danyel for all you do! 💜Side note: There's a brewery right behind the hotel that you walk to, and it's amazing! We recommend the elk bratwurst and cabin burger. The blueberry cider is great, too! Ask for Dan. He's a great server, and fun! Loveland Pass exit is 15 minutes away, and worth the drive to see the view on top of the mountains! Arapahoe Basin is awesome, you can ride the lift to the top and visit the restaurant. My husband says they have the best Bloody Mary! I really enjoyed the food!

Was here for just short stay. Not only was the location stunning, but the hotel itself, and staff were just as wonderful. Check-in was simple and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely accommodating and helpful. The aesthetic of the building was warm and welcoming, very fitting for the location. The room was clean and prepped to the accommodations I requested prior (extra pillows, blankets, towels, etc.). The bathroom was stocked with full sized amenities. Even after check in upon each interaction with staff they continued to go above and beyond. Can’t say enough great things about this particular location.

Never would usually stay at this hotel brand, but this new modern one at the lakeside is an exception. Guess Wyndham is trying to improve their quality.Price is much higher than usual for this brand, but cheaper than other brands in area. Was a good overnight stop coming out of mountains during a storm, and heading back to K.C. in morning. Got to avoid staying in city..Denver.Breakfast was pretty lacking as expected. Frozen spicy burrito was the only protein. Skipped line waiting for 2 plain coffee dispensers, grabbed an apple and left. Paid approx 170 night vs over 220+ in area. Paid extra for lake view, upper floor. Bare bones, but clean and modern new design matching towns mountain modern architecture.Hopefully good management will keep the low lifes, druggies out of this location who will destroy it like other Wyndhams brand hotels. Already had a burn in new carpet in non smoking hotel.Brewery restaurant behind hotel ruins view, but decent food for price. Closes at 9 in this small community.

Snow forced us to stop for the night and this place was excellent. Kiddo enjoyed the pool and hot tub, while I enjoyed the comfy bed and clean room. Breakfast was also good, they had some breakfast sandwiches and auto pancake maker. We only stayed the one night, I know another review complained about housekeeping, and while I was there someone was talking to night manager about housekeeping, it could be staffing is an issue which would be unfortunate because this place was great and staff I did encounter were good, but being understaffed will start to show cracks if it continues

"Green" hotel, only certain outlets (supposed to be marked with a green dot sticker) work all night. Hotel staff didn't understand the importance of this with using CPAP and poorly explained the situation. My mom woke up with a splitting headache and had to go downstairs in the middle of the night to get help. Apparently, outlets weren't labeled properly too.Breakfast was carb heavy but adequate options if not to picky.Pool was nice and hot tub was one of the best I've been in with strong jets and not too much chlorine.Walkability: Nice to walk to the lake in the morning and watch the fishing and bask in the Colorado sun.

Great staff, nice property, cool location. There is a restaurant and lake next door. No complaints.Nearby activities: A nearby trail that goes around the lake, walking distance from hotel parking lot. About 15 minutes from Loveland ski resort. Perfect 1st time ski vacation for family. Stay here, rent equipment from Black diamond in Georgetown, then buy the Loveland Valley only aki tickets for $50/$30(under 15).
