We showed up about an hour from close after a very long day of traveling & were greeted by the most genuinely friendly serving staff! She was helpful & did not seem at all annoyed by our late arrival. She went over specials & drinks. Made great recommendations & everything we ordered was sublime! I would love to try their lunch menu as it looks phenomenal. Overall this is one of my top favorite restaurants I've been to while traveling this country. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good food, service & an amazing beer & cocktail selection. 5 outta 5 easy!

After riding the Georgetown train, we wanted to partake in some local grub and we’re pleased to go to Coopers on the Creek. Of course, the view overlooking the river and mountains were spectacular. I ordered and I highly recommend the Albuquerque burger. My wife got the patty melt. Both of them were better than your typical burger or Patty melt. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming. I highly recommend Coopers on the creek.

The staff was very nice, but forgot our coke and didn't bring us Silverware until well after our food was delivered. My husband got the duck pot pie, and it was underwhelming. The portion size was small and he was still hungry when it was gone. The potatoes were al dente, which was unfortunate because that was the only texture in the dish. Everything else was kind of mush. The top wasn't flaky or crispy at all, and the filling wasn't all the way warm.I got the Zen burger. I thought that the flavor combination was good, but for a burger that cost $23 after substituting in Crispy Brussels as the side I would have expected a fresh patty not a frozen one. The bottom bun was so soggy it fell apart when I tried to eat it. The crispy Brussels were not crispy at all, but had good flavor. My son got kids chicken tenders, which were hot and crispy, but the fries were cold and soggy greasy. It seemed to me like the chef or owner has good ideas about flavor and recipes but the kitchen staff didn't care at all about putting out a quality product. There is potential for good food, but they failed at the execution.

Dined in and got the burgers. They were just okay but one of our burgers was burnt on the underside of the patty. Didn’t realize until after a couple bites. Didn’t want to cause a scene so just pealed off nearly the entire bottom part of the patty. Showed our waitress and she was very apologetic. It really shows poor integrity on the part of the cooks for sending out food that isn’t up to standards. I mean, you wouldn’t feed something like that to your dog let alone a human being. I would have expected a lot more from a small town establishment. Would highly recommend an in-service to ensure that the cooks uphold the values of the restaurant and the town. Cannot in good faith recommend this place. It’s really unfortunate because the staff is very friendly.

Went here on our anniversary trip to the area. View is relaxing from the enclosed patio which is right next to a bubbling creek and the mountains. Service was good, we came an hour before the dinner menu started so we slowly got things as the menu expanded. Waitress checked on us throughout.Food was good but some are better than others. Our kids got chicken Mac n cheese, which was really buttery, with our kids anticipating to be more cheesy. It went uneaten. We had the shrimp as an appetizer. Tasty but felt way too salty. The bread that came with it felt like I’d chop a tooth on how hard it was. My wife ordered the salmon, which I nibbled a bit too, and it was great. Lots of flavor but neither the fish nor the pesto were overpowering. Just a great blend. I had the Bison short rib which was so tender it practically melted off the bone. Really a treat. Had other options I’d love to try if I came back.Vegetarian options: Not many but they were there.

We stopped at Cooper’s on the Creek on the way from denver to Breckenridge. The waiter was absolutely service minded, and took special care of us, and also paid good attention to the children. The food was very interesting. I would say it was good, but not great. Still, I would visit again. We sat at the back of the restaurant right next to the creek. It was a very relaxing and refreshing place to be.

This was one of the best burgers I have ever had! The patties were hand formed and juicy, and the goat cheese and caramelized onions on the Zen burger were delicious. The duck poutine was also excellent, but a little smaller than anticipated. All three desserts were also excellent- the flourless chocolate cake was so rich! Also they had great happy hour discounts on pub food and draft beer!Parking: A little bit cramped in the lot, the next door lot has some additional room.

The food is very savory and tasty!! We really enjoyed it! The environment is cute and rustic for that mountainy feel. Great little spot to land if you have had a long day of skiing, hang with family, or have a small celebration. Great happy hour from 3-6pm daily with drink and food specials. My friend and I had the Duck Confit Appetizer, the Duck Pot Pie, and the Slow Cooker Herb Chicken. The Duck Appetizer was really flavorful with the right amount of savory with the duck, cheese, and potatoes. My friend literally scrapped her butter knife around the dish to get every last bit out of it. She literally couldn't get enough! The herb chicken was moist and balanced with the appetizer being more flavor forward. The Duck Pot Pie was what you want in a pot pie - flakey, buttery, savory, with good amount of duck and veggies. We both had wished there was a full under-crust with the pot pie, but enjoyed it nonetheless.Food varied in price depending on what you got, but lands somewhere in that $17-$26 range per entree.A friend and I found Cooper's on the Creek for a fun Christmasy Celebration dinner before taking the Georgetown Railroad Train today. We really enjoyed it and would likely come back if we were ever in Georgetown again.

If you go, order drinks and leave. Food is dry and fries are salty, service super slow and the trash filled room will be right by the outside eating area. I saw multiple people having to reorder a simple burger to replace whatever supposedly fancier choice they did and oh the price is not cheap for the bad food. Cheap ones might be ok by the way. Look at my$26 salmon with pretty aged tasting avocado.Correction: I didn’t eat the salmon much so apparently that wasn’t avocado. Still not very impressive. A table not far away took some food back and didn’t eat much either. We’ll. Just go and order some elk meat or salmon and decide if you will go back for it.

Stopped by after a day of skiing. So glad we did! AMAZING FOOD!! Truffle Fry's are great!! Food is home cooked and gourmet! Prices are not gourmet. We plan to incorporate this AWESOME little restaurant into our normal after ski / mountain bike routine (or anytime we're in the area). A hidden gem. Wish they were open for breakfast. I hate to give them a great rating because I want to keep this little secret to myself.

After seeing the good reviews, we decided to take a break from driving and stop for lunch. They were able to accommodate a group of 10 fairly quickly, the interior is cozy and clean. Our server was Ambi, she had a great personality and super friendly. She did a great job taking our orders and recommending dishes. The food was great, you can taste the different flavors and can tell it was cooked and not microwaved. We will be definitely be back !!!Second visit was also great, we learned that the owners are also the cooks !!! The real definition of family business.Ambi did also a great job !!

After a day exploring Georgetown, my mom and I decided to check out Cooper’s on the Creek, as it was across the street from our hotel.Oh. My. Goodness.Everything we ordered was just cram packed with flavor. We started with the Buffalo Chicken Dip, which did not last long at all. The crostini’s and veggies complimented the dip well, and we were soon scraping the skillet for what little remained.Next were our entree's, I ordered the Braised Bison Short Ribs, and my mom got the Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon. The ribs were so unbelievably tender, they fell off the bone at the slightest touch, and simply melted in your mouth. The flavor was incredible, making each bite better than the last. The potatoes the ribs were served in were delicious as well, very well season, and complimented the ribs perfectly. I sampled Mom’s filet as well. The cook was spot on (medium rare), and the flavor was also phenomenal. I could tell it was made on a charcoal grill, and the sear was flawless. We finished with an order of Truffle Fries, and both of us were completely blown away by how delicious the fries were, never mind the mind blowing Black Garlic dipping sauce they included with it. We disposed of those in a matter of minutes, and were left licking our fingers at how tasty it was.Our drinks were the perfect compliment to the meal - I started with a Peach Sweet Tea, mom a Mai Thai. After trying hers, I ordered a Mai Thai as well - very tasty, not too sweet, and the flavors complimented each other very well. The service was friendly and attentive, ensuring our water never ran out and guaranteed we didn’t want for anything during our meal. The atmosphere was friendly and quaint, and the prices were modest considering how delicious everything was, I certainly expected to spend more than $75 a person.I can honestly say this is one of if not thee best dining experience I’ve ever had, and I cannot recommend Cooper’s on the Creek enough! If you find yourself in town, don’t deprive yourself of this experience!

My wife and I have come here a couple of times when visiting Georgetown. This is a great restaurant with excellent food. It has been packed both times we went and parking has been difficult to find. It has also taken a while to get our food, but it has been worth the wait. I would recommend the Candied Hog Burger and the Cooper Burger. We also like the truffle fries.

I was looking forward to eating here after the Georgetown Loop Railroad. The food was decent, the bistro chicken wasn’t great, the burger was ok. The service however was terrible. Our server was rude. I took my straw out of my cup when she took my tea and two others from our table who left their straws in their cups and she came back and placed one in front of me while looking at me that had a straw in it. I switched but then realized she shoved the lemons down in all of the glasses after I took my lemon off. I’m not sure what her problem was but she was terrible. My disabled sister spilled her drink on accident and she threw a towel at us and told us to clean it up and never brought her back another drink. I wouldn’t recommend this place or ever come back here.

They were out of almost everything, so our options to order were extremely limited. The burger had the consistency of meatloaf. The service was horrible. We didn't receive a drink we ordered, and we didn't get our water refilled even though it was empty early on in the meal. The only bright side was that we were not charged for the drink we never received.

Nothing but great experiences at Coopers. From the lunch menu to dinner you cannot go wrong. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly and service is always quick as they can be. Go to favorites are the cooper burger, meat loaf, Rueben sandwich, steak, chicken, can I just put the whole menu? You walk in and see locals sitting at the bar which gives an all around mountain time Georgetown vibe. This place is it.

We ordered Buffalo Chicken Dip for an appetizer and it was so delicious! For our entrees, we had the Braised Buffalo Short Ribs and Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon with a side of truffle fries with black garlic dipping sauce. This was one of THE BEST MEALS I have ever had!!! The ribs had a delicious flavor and the meat fell off the bones. The filet mignon was flavorful and cooked to medium rare perfection. Even the Mai Tais were on point! The service (Zeffanie) was fantastic and the restaurant had a great ambiance. I loved all the local historical photos on the walls as well. We will definitely be back!

Awesome atmosphere right on a creek. The outdoor seating is beautiful and refreshing. The staff is helpful and friendly and the food is delicious. The grilled romaine salad is AMAZING, very flavorful are unique. The burrata caprese is good, nice for a small appetizer. The olives and nuts on the pub fare was a nice snack to have a lot with a meal. And their chicken entree was good but wasn’t outstanding. The potatoes kind of seemed instant. Overall great place with a beautiful atmosphere.

Off the bat Parking is very difficult. I ordered a chicken Cobb salad and all of my avocado was brown on the underside like they purposefully made sure the not brown side was face up, and who wants brown avocado? Secondly the chicken on my Cobb salad was so gross is was like chicken that didn’t have the gross parts cut off before being cooked and it appeared to simply be unseasoned boiled bland chicken not even grilled ( so bizarre and gross) as you can see in attached photos. Their green chili chip dip was like a dill dip with slices of green pepper (not actually a green chili dip) and the bowl the dip was served in wasn’t more than a quarter full and like 40 chips, for the price of the appetizer you’d think the dip would come with a normal amount. My least favorite part of this restaurant is they charge a culinary fee. How about you just pay your cooks a decent wage, maybe the food would be good and you wouldn’t have to pass an additional fee on your customers who are clearly already over paying for mediocrity. Two stars for the food due to the burgers being good, and our waitress was awesome, no problem on the service side. Probably won’t ever be back when we fish up there and wouldn’t recommend it either.

This place was so good it's making me go back and lower my review ratings for other places.Absolutely insanely good and cheap food. Whoever put this menu together was touched by some forgotten culinary god.
