Every staff member in the store welcomed me and asked what they could help me find. Very friendly and helpful.One of the employees suggested a collar color for my Germans Shepard and they were very friendly - the collar turned out to be a great fit!

Very helpful staff. We did a pet scan allergy test and the manager saved the results so when I go in looking for food we know what my pup can and can’t have to calm down food allergy response of incessant itching! So grateful for these people who truly care about my pet as family.

This is the place to go instead of big box stores. The customer service was amazing! He helped us find what we purchased previously (by name in their system) and gave us lots of advice when we asked about chew toys. We love this place!

The girls working (heather and kylynn?) names could be wrong I've had too many concussions but they are great! Let our daughter play with the kitties and gave us some free snacks for our cats. If we lived closer, we'd be in there weekly! 10/10 customer service.

My husband and I have 5 dogs and we won’t go anywhere else to get food, treats, toys etc. We love Chow Down in Fruita and have been going here since they opened this location. The customer services is amazing. We love love love Tiffany and the quality brands of dog food they sale nobody else in the Grand Valley does. They’re the best for pets.

What I like about "Chow Down" is that the employees know what they have in stock. When I go to the large pet stores, they are not as knowledgeable. That is what great customer service is. If CD doesn't have the product, they will try to get it for you. I also really like the manager Tiffany, because she takes the time to know the customers.

These guys are awesome. Always friendly and they will even carry your giant bag of food out to your car for you. They are very helpful and always willing to answer questions. i will continue to purchase my pet supplies here and highly recommend them to friends and family.

I just love this place! I love bringing my dog here and he loves coming here as well. They always give him free treats. We make sure to come here for his treats and supplements versus buying everything at Petco or Amazon. It's worth coming here to support a small business.

It's a little on the expensive side, but they sell dog food that you can't find at City Market. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. An they do sell dog food that is on the healthier side. They sell Victor dog food which our dogs love. But even with them being just a little pricier. I'd recommend getting your pet supplies there.

They've got lots of cool, not generic, pet food there. They mainly specialize in just cat and dog stuff though. So if you're in need of any other pet items, best go somewhere else.My only real complaint, is that they are overly friendly. It starts as soon as you enter the door. You get a nice greeting, then what seems like non-stop customer service. Asking you if you need help with anything, things like that. Normally that doesn't bother me. But that happens after the greeting. Aka, I've had no chance to look around myself before needing help. It doesn't help that I'm not a people person anyway, hence me being bothered. But I cann appreciate their effort, thus the 5 star rating.

We shop at the Fruita store because we try to support locally owned businesses in the community and, more importantly, they have the most helpful, amazing staff! Haven't tried the dog washing station yet but that is definitely in our future!

WOW!!! I stopped by today during the Fall Festival and the lever of customer service was so good that they've made a new loyal customer.My cat has a sensitive system so I've had a hard time finding food for him that doesn't upset his stomach and I left the store with an arm load of samples and a "Welcome to Fruita" gift of treats for my two furbabies.What a great place.
