The secrets out and the chicks are in for spring break! This store has it all, and is neat and orderly and plenty of people walking around willing to help! It’s a place to get snacks, staples [if you need huckleberry anything] clothes fishing ammo rifle pistols paint ball other clothes work clothes fancy clothes.. how about I just say etc. ! Some stores just call you to wander in and this one is shouting your name.

Top Notch Store. Great variety, great prices and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Plenty of off street parking including handicap accessible. The store is well organized and prices are clearly visible. The sporting goods department has a great selection of guns and related gear.Update May 2022Finally mostly back to normal, no COVID restrictions and good supply of most products.Updated April 2024Friendly staff. Some items (bird suet) didn't have prices clearly marked. The online inventory system was not very accurate. One item I ordered was supposed to be available but the order was cancelled because there's wasn't any. Another item showed several in stock however there was only one. Definitely needs upgrade.

Beware of returns. Even if you have your receipt you will not get the price you paid if the item is now marked down. And possibly they won't take it back at all. I will never shop at Murdoch's again.

Came here for the first time. This place is awesome! I'm from Missouri so this would be equivalent to a glorified orchleans or mini bass pro. The prices here are very reasonable. I spoke with patrick back in firearms and he was helping me with some mapping for my upcoming elk hunt. Give that man a raise. He was super nice and helpful. Very welcoming and friendly. The facility was very clean and well laid out.

Great selection of items in every department. Friendly staff. I needed a pair of jeans last minute and they had Carhart's in my size. A bit pricey but pretty typical in a resort town. They sell various licence's and permits. Great place for guns and ammo.

Had a great experience buying a new hunting rifle. Staff was very knowledgeable of the firearms they were selling. Price point here is excellent for the area they were not gouging you on prices. Well done I will be back.

Was in Colorado for a few days to see family. Stopped by here to check it out . Got a few things . Loved the large fresh soap bar section. Staff was so friendly and recommended different soaps to me . This store has lots to offer . You can’t be in a rush if it’s your first time here . Lots to see .

I went to buy something and I asked a young girl who is pregnant and she treated me very badly, she is angry, very despotic, very racist. I will never go to that store again because of that pregnant woman. 👎🏼

It’s a Sunday - during prime tourist season: please train and staff more than one cashier. There are at least five employees in the store, but only one person trained as a cashier - with 12 customers in line. Murdoch’s: you can do better.

Came in on a whim hoping to pick up a portable car battery charger. It was somewhat of a unique situation and I needed help ASAP. Zach and Matt C. came to the rescue and spent a good 15 minutes helping me figure out the best course of action. They were patient, informative, and gave me a few different options and price points. These guys are the best!

Came in looking for some ponchos and they were all sold out and one of the associates went into the stock room and got us some construction size garbage bags to use. Better than nothing! And so thoughtful and great customer service. Thank you Murdoch’s!

I hate to give any store a poor review on the appearance of their associates, but here goes: the front end cashier stays seated unless necessary. She's snacking with open food at the register. If I were the owner, I'd never tolerate seated checkers unless it were a BFOQ, and food and drink at the register is unacceptable.I found the three items I was looking for, though I had to ask for help, as none of the sales floor employees offered assistance; and the price was very good.All in all, I'd rather shop Walmart, and I never shop Walmart.

I went into Murdoch to buy a couple of new firearms for the Fourth of July (went in 7/3 @4 pm) and was treated so poorly buy the associate with red hair and chest long beard behind the gun counter that I set down the other items that I was going to purchase and stormed out never to return. Never been treated so rudely by someone who’s job is to provide customer service. Glad I didn’t spend my $3k there and I advise you to avoid this store! Way to treat your locals!!

Murdoch's is a great place to have here in the Fraser complex. We're always running over to grab stuff from them. The store has a really good selection (especially the candy aisle-- y'all keep that up, lol) but a great place for the tourists to grab a gift, or for the locals to get some of the essentials. Decent prices for it being in the mountains, too.

This was about the only place open on Christmas Eve. Thankful for that. We were doing some last minute gifts for our kids. While browsing the toy options we ran into a mildly grouchy associate. Her "bah humbug-ish"attitude about children playing with the toys was a bit disheartening and quite annoying by the time we left. I get that it can be stressful during this season for any retail associate with all the children, attended or Unattended, playing with anything they can get their hands on. This particular associate seemed to really dislike children in general. Perhaps she could be of better service in a different department within the store. As we were checking out we were once again in the presence of a two not so friendly cashiers. Who werent entirely enthusiastic about anything at all. Like here's your merchandise you spent over 200 dollars on and we will bag it if you pay extra. Your joking right. Nope we said keep your bag we will find another option. Besides that the store was clean and the sales were decent.

We had to visit here to get some jackets before a baseball tournament because it was raining. There was a nice lady who worked there who was helping us find what we need she was even helping us sift through sizes to find jeans for my daughter. I was thoroughly impressed by her friendliness and willing to help!

Friendly hardware store. Prices seemed comparable to other similar stores. A nice employee directed me right to what I was looking for. They also had baby chickens which I would assume keep the wife or kids busy if you need a little extra time to check out the tools.
