Thoroughly impressed with this location!-The front desk gentleman was welcoming and helpful for our late night arrival.-The free breakfast was above average! Eggs that weren’t dry, pancakes, bacon, cinnamon rolls, plenty of cold options.-The breakfast attendant gentleman deserves a raise and a promotion. He was moving a hundred miles an hour keeping everything stocked, clean, and fresh. It was busy but he was on top of everything!-The rooms were clean and beds/pillows very comfortable.-Convenient location near Winter Park resort.Nearby activities: Winter park resortFood & drinks: Above average!Noteworthy details: The employees!

I can't say enough abt the manager here she is wonderful. She has made my stay absolutely great I couldn't ask for a better place. Breakfast is great every morning. Atmosphere around here is great. Location is awesome. Beds are comfy and the rooms are very clean. I have been here for almost 20 days for work and I'm greeted with a smile every day by the staff. Everyone around here is great!. I strongly recommend this place!!Rooms: Clean, beds are extra comfy

We stayed at this motel on April 18. We did not have hardly any channels on our TV. We just wanted to relax and watch TV after traveling all day. I went to the desk person and he came down and said there wasn't anything he could do. All we could get was cartoons and Spanish. When we checked out I asked of we could get a discount and they said to leave my name and phone number which I did. I got a voice mail and returned the call, left a message and never heard back. Very disappointed!! It was room number, 110.

I stayed at this same Holiday Inn Express a few years ago and had a five star stay. The good: View from the room is amazing. Make sure to get one with an attached walk out area. Hot tub and pool were amazing each night. Small but nice. Everything was fairly clean and up-to-date. My only complaints, nothing that will keep me from staying again, just little disappointments. Rooms were not ready at check-in. Waited about 20 minutes. (Room) The soap dispensers in the shower and by sink were empty or running empty. Didn't discover until in the shower. Pretty much everything in the bathroom was empty or ran out the first night. Tissue paper, soap, and toilet paper. (Could have been caused by the rushed room cleaning at check-in). The breakfast area was hit and miss each morning for quality, taste, and quantity on the hot items, which included the coffee. Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes.

Good solid hotel stay. I only did two overnight stays, but all was fine.Walking distance to restaurants and grocery. Some small lakes to walk around. Nice mountain views.Not sure if this hotel would be good for ski stays, I stayed in September.

I recently stayed here for a ski trip and had a very good experience. The hotel is decently priced and affordable for those not looking to splurge on an overpriced Winterpark resort. It is a short 10 minute drive from the mountain with a free shuttle right next to the hotel. The facilities and rooms were clean and service exceptional. The pool and hot tub are very nice and clean.Although they placed us in the wrong room the first night, they were quick to remedy the situation. Upon speaking with the manager, Renée, she got us a new room the very next day and gave us a partial reimbursement for the trouble.I highly recommend staying here if you don't mind the 10 minute drive as it is the best bang for your buck in the area, and is located near a number of great restaurants.Rooms: CleanNoteworthy details: Awesome hot tub and pool area.

Stayed here for a week. Staff was excellent, location is perfect. Everything is within walking distance. Pool and hot tub Are perfect for anytime of year. Breakfast was great when the young man was making it. The young lady tends to burn the bacon and sausage but other than that everything was great. Rooms were clean and comfy great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Soft towels and just an overall great experience

The staff was very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was okay, but not fabulous. The room was very spacious and lovely! I was a little disappointed that we had to request housekeeping service, but we did get it when we asked. The beds were comfortable. The location was great! Right next to Safeway and basically across the street from the class we were taking. And 5 minutes from great restaurants. We very much enjoyed our stay! We were there 4 nights. The pool is small, but enjoyable! We spent a few nights enjoying the pool and hot tub.

Jacob and the entire staff provided customer service over and above their duty. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to a bus stop. Breakfast was excellent.Nearby activities: The North Park resort had lots of fun activities.Again, the free town bus is awesomeFood & drinks: Colorado Corn Dog Truck and the brew pub in front of it excellent!! Also good deli selection at the local grocery for eating at the hotel.

We were quite happy with our stay. Easy check in with good customer service, clean room, a hot tub and pool inside with plenty of towels, and a good hot breakfast. There is a fridge, keurig, and microwave in the room. The beds are pretty comfortable. Located across the street from Safeway and other stores/restaurants, and close to the Fraser tubing hill. We will be back.

Staff was very polite and welcoming every day. The room was nice for my husband and I. However; breakfast was not. First issue: eggs were dry as if they broke some eggs, placed them in the oven, and walked away until they remembered to get them, then just chopped them up enough to resemble scrambled eggs. Second: bacon was under cooked. Third: The breakfast as a whole was luke warm. Even the Cinnamon rolls that I watched be brought out had absolutely no heat to them. Lastly, and what I take more seriously, I watched as someone came from the back, no gloves on, went under the cabinet to grab more uncovered/unsealed plastic utensils with his bare hands stuffed each cubby with all utensils standing up so not only his hands have been on all the forks, spoons and knives, but also everyone that needs to come grab one can touch it too. That's very unsanitary. Forks facing up, spoons facing up, knives facing up welcoming all bacteria to have easy access into your mouth. That's when I no longer ate breakfast. Give me a banana please! In general the staff were very friendly from the front desk to the cleaning crew but maybe work on a better process with food service.

I was staying here in room 304 and at the moment I couldn't remember my room number. I went in this morning to try to grab some breakfast and this little man stopped me and started asking me where I was staying. I couldn't remember my room number at the time. He escorted me out and said he was going to call the cops. He said he was the general manager and that he knew for a fact that I wasn't staying there. I didn't stick around to argue. I didn't want to make a scene. I was already embarrassed. I'm disabled and sometimes things are hard for me. This was definitely one of those things.

We had a wonderful time here! All of the staff is so friendly and helpful. Sean the chef made sure the breakfast was hot and well stocked all morning long, with great variety to choose from. The hotel is dog friendly and has an awesome trail to walk nearby, just walk straight in front of the Safeway to get there. If you're skiing at Winter Park, don't waste your time driving and looking for a space in the parking lot (and paying $20 for it); better to take the shuttle from the stop next to the hotel instead.

Edit: My family and dog enjoy this property!We love taking our fishing chairs up to the room's "veranda" and eat our take out dinner outside. The pool and hot tub is a perfect way to end our day. We sleep so well here.(😴 zzz) goodnight! We played hard and slept good. Nice.The staff at this property is the gem of this hotel. The beds are comfortable. The room was clean. The pool is nice and the hotel is right next to the Fraser River for great fishing access. Delicious and a hardy breakfast buffet in the morning too.Rooms: Comfortable beds, easy access to the river, Safeway and liquor store very close. Hernando Pizza for take out and Murdocks for fishing gear.

Absolutely a wonderful stay. Everything is up to date and works well. Ive stayed in so many hotel where everything is broken... The a.c., the shower, the coffee machine, the microwave. But this was fully operational, clean and the staff was just great. Even the continental breakfast was outstanding because they had someone monitoring it and helping us with any selection we may have wanted. They were a little low on bacon and he rushed to the back and had a new pan before I could even ask.Overall, the best hotel stay I have ever experienced, and I have stayed at the Four Seasons. This hotel blew them away on all levels.

Room was fine. Clean. Very unhappy that if you book with Holiday Inn Express online and then need to change your stay, the local staff cannot help you. We ended up paying for a day we didn't stay, even though the hotel was far from busy and the notification was 4 days before that check out date. We missed the option to change online by hours assuming the staff could help us when we checked in (plus, we were traveling). Terrible customer service, which I'm sure is industry standard.

The hotel location was about 3 miles from winter park ski resort which was nice! The shower could definitely be updated by getting better shower heads. The pool was closed 50% of the time which was not cool as that was the main reason my mom came. Continental breakfast wasnt bad. They had egg n cheese tacos with chicken sausage patty's to be put in the egg taco. Also had cereal, bagels etc... no shuttle to the ski resort was a bummer but there is free parking at resort so not an end all. The balconies for the rooms were a little cheesy but a nice addition. Could be a awesome hotel with a few corrections.
