Five stars easy! Over the past few years, Gabriela and Dr. Shawna have always been so wonderful. Quick to respond, quick to get my dog in, cost friendly, you can tell how much they care about my dog, and they are so friendly and kind to me as well. My dog loves going to the vet! Even after getting the not so fun stuff done! (How do we make human care this excellent??)

We were in winter park on vacation when our puppy unfortunately had a bowel obstruction. Dr Shauna fit our dog in on Easter weekend as well as giving us her personal cell. We loved the office, the vet and the personal attention. Especially since we are out of towners and not regular clients. We would not hesitate to recommend Byers veterinary clinic and the expert and loving care of the staff. Thank you!

Shauna has been taking care of my dogs and horse for 40 years. The extra effort, care and compassion for difficult moments is from the heart. We always made good decisions for the benefit of the animal. One night Shauna and Matt did emergency surgery at 1 am to help Moji the laberneses and pulled through to good recovery. After an awful experience with a vet in Granby (Brooks Veterinary Service), Dr. Shauna was a godsend. Took great care of our dog and dealt with our anxiety with care. Highly recommend!

Living in a small town can pose a challenge when looking for quality care at a reasonable price, so I was very pleased to find this vet clinic. My 8y/o dog needed a checkup and teeth cleaning and they did an amazing job taking care of him. For being such a small team, they are so efficient and the doctor is very knowledgeable and really cares to answer any questions thoroughly. She did an amazing job cleaning his teeth; I see a huge difference in his breath. Overall, I’m so happy with the care my dog received, will definitely keep taking him here.

The only place I will take my service dog Pennee. The Dr Shauna and all the staff are the best, I have no doubt that they care about my dog, they care about me and my relationship with my service dog. For me being disabled my dog is very special to me and I feel that from the staff. They are not just animals they are family.

Might be the BEST vet experience I have ever had! My 6yr old lab was suddenly very ill (vomit and limping). I was in WP for a mini get-away and not sure what to do- our vet is over 2 hours away! This office was booked solid (it was the day before a LONG holiday weekend) and there were limited office hours left in the day- Eddie (my pup) and I were lucky enough that Dr. Shauna Omlie is such a compassionate AND knowledgeable professional! She and her lovely staff fit us in for a full evaluation even though the schedule was packed! I left with peace of mind and some new discoveries about Eddie's health that had not been mentioned by our vet at home- Dr. Omlie made sure I saw x-rays and really understood the blood work. I wish Dr. Omlie had offices in the Denver/ Boulder area!! I can not thank you all enough for your empathy, care and expertise! This is one happy pup momma! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Dr. Shauna and Gabriella are just absolute angels of Grand County. They always make me feel like my pets and I are a priority. They are both so very compassionate and you can tell they absolutely love what they do. They are great at communication and I am so thankful for every experience I have had with them. Surprisingly, I think my cat may even be starting to love them! 😻Dr Shauna goes above and beyond to ensure that her pet patients are provided with the best care possible. She examines avenues that may not be the norm for other vet offices. I appreciate her compassion, generosity, expertise, and professionalism. I have never had a better vet in 20 years.

Dr Omlie and her staff have proven themselves to me twice now. Both incidents were emergency visits involving surgery on older dogs. Shauna was efficient and 100% professional both times. We were in & out on the same day both times with final bills under $500 both times. Obviously, the most important thing was that the procedures went great, without complications... but its nice that the bill was not $2000, or worse.

Absolutely amazing experience here from start to finish. They will definitely be our vet from now on. Diox did so good even with doing nails and blood test and two vaccines and he usually freaks out at vet offices but stayed pretty mellow here. Visiting from out of town for a few months and my dog needed to get his Rabies Booster, was able to get an appointment set up easily. My vet Dr. Shauna was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. This would be my vet of choice if I lived in the area! The prices are also extremely affordable.

I would recommend taking your pets to any other vet you can find. They boasted on being comparative and then charged over 600.00 to fix our dog but didn't state it would cost that much until after the fact. Then the vet didn't even check in to have our dogs stitches removed. We had them removed elsewhere. Horrible service and ridiculously expensive. Do not take your pets here.

I have been going to Shauna Omlie since the 1980's. You can't find a better ,more knowledgeable, compassionate, understanding Vet anywhere. Dont know how many times Shauna came rushing after hours for various emergencies. Nothing ever happens during office hours.I really would not know what to do without Shauna. Trust her totally.Really is a great clinic. Clean and efficient even in these trying times. Our pets are always the important clients.

Shauna Omlie was my old dog's vet for almost 16 years and always provided him with the best quality care possible while maintaining a great client relationship with me, the human side of the formula. During my dogs last couple of years we moved down to the front range, but still kept Shauna for his veterinarian. If I were still up in the Fraser Valley I would definitely use her for my current dogs.I feel she is very honest, explains issues in a way that is easy to understand, extremely accommodating in stressful situations, and does her best to work with the clients to ultimately meet the needs of the animals.I have lived in the Denver Front Range for about 4 years, and have yet to find a vet that gives me and my dog the all around quality experience that she provided.

She has taken excellent care of our pets, given us spot on direction and recommendations and shows a great deal of compassion. We are summer and part of the winter residents in Fraser. Both our dogs have had occasion to be treated by Shauna. In those cases, it was for relatively minor problems, or teeth cleaning. But just before July 4th, our dog, Libby, became quite ill, and Shauna was on call 24-hours a day, until the problem was diagnosed and treatment given. She would meet us after hours, and once on the weekend when the clinic was closed. She had me stay in constant contact with her, reporting on Libby's temp, eating, energy, and eliminations. Libby is well recovered, but the level of care, attention and concern was outstanding. I love our vet at home in IL, but Shauna is not your average suburban vet. She is totally involved in helping an animal in need, day or night, and on call to meet that need. Her concern is genuine.My husband and I are so immensely grateful for her care and love to our girl, Libby. As an aside, even though Libby was quite ill, and needed blood drawn several times, rectal temps taken, and an IV cath, she loved seeing Shauna, and was very relaxed with her . . . I sensed she trusted Shauna and knew she was trying to help. Libby would walk in, lay down and just watch as Shauna treated her.

While visiting with family in Colorado, we needed a place for Leonard (our 70+ pound Pyr/Lab mix) to stay. Gabriella answered endless questions and emails from me before our visit, and could not have been more helpful and professional throughout the whole process. Dr. Shauna also agreed to check out a troublesome spot on one of Leonard's legs during our boarding check-in, even though we didn't have an appointment. Her concern and consultation put our minds a ease. They also allowed us to pick up Leonard for daily outings when we requested to do so. Should we ever find ourselves in the Winter Park/Fraser area again, we will definitely go back to Byers Peak Vet Clinic! Thank you Gabriella & Shauna!

They were wonderful! I came in with an emergency and we were taken care of immediately, with thorough care and respect. While we ended up being passed along to a different vet for surgery my pup was cleaned up, stitched up, and wrapped up with TLC. They saved the day!

I would never ever board my dog here. They leave them out side in the heat and they bark to come inside but are ignored, left in a 7x7 cage outside in the heat and cold when inside you hear the dogs just barking they get 0 attention i would never leave my dog here!!!! 0 stars
