This is for the bakery.... yall are absolutely amazing. I order and the design is always on point. I come from Orlando and we have Publix which has thee best cakes and subs but I can safely say that Safeway is a close close close runner up to them. The cake taste AMAZING.... and again the designs are always perfect! I wish I could tip the staff but I know that's not allowed but it should be! Thank yall so much for always helping me and getting me thee best tasting cake and giving you best with the artwork! Here's one example of a funny cake I just got today and the girl LOVED it!

I have never left my basket and walked out of a store, but I did yesterday. It was my last stop and wanted to get some ribeyes for dinner with my mom. Just like a few days before, they were out. Was going to check with the meat department folks to see if maybe they had some in the back. There's a button that says to ring for assistance. Rang it multiple times and stood there for at least 10 minutes waiting. Finally, I walked over to the bakery and asked them what I should do. The lady very kindly put a call out over the intercom that a customer needed assistance in the meat department. I stood there again for another 10 minutes or so. Finally, quite irritated at this point, I walked up front and asked the girl at the self-checkout how to find someone to help me. She said, oh there's no one working there right now. No apology or anything. So I got out of other people's way and angrily thought about my next move. I decided that they weren't going to get my business for the other items I had and even though I hate Walmart and had already been there that day, I decided that was still better.So fine, nobody working. That would be just fine. However, why wasn't there a sign saying that in the back by the doorbell? Or, why didn't a manager come back to tell me this when the message was sent over the intercom? And finally, why didn't the clerk start with, I'm sorry...? As I said, I have never left my full basket and left a store in my life, buy I did yesterday. And went and spent double the price at Walmart . This is the only big grocery store in all of Morgan County besides Walmart . Does that mean that this is all ok? I don't. I'm a very loyal Safeway Shopper but I think I'll start shopping elsewhere.

The last 2 times we have went to Safeway the meat shelves are empty they tell you to ring the bell but no one comes to help you then they announce it over the intercoms still no help. Always preferred going to Safeway to avoid going to Walmart but they’re making it hard to do anymore.

Went to the deli section today and two of the loveliest people helped us out. The man recommended the cashew chicken salad and clearly takes great pride in his work. The salad was delicious and we finished the container in twenty minutes. Perfect grape amount in the scoops too.

I want to give our local Safeway a five star, but I can't. I go there every week with a set list and leave with only two-thirds of what I need. It is always under stocked and has some of the saddest produce I have seen. I have been traveling to another grocery store out of town once a month so that I can get stocked up on the basics. I have been to three very small mountain communities in the past two months and their produce is better than what we get in our much larger community. It is a frustrating weekly experience. This rating would be a three star except for the fact that I appreciate the staff.

Were moving Local and we like the Safeway! Everyone has been very nice and kind. We ave had to grab Ice each day with no issue and some of the fresh donuts are REALLY good! Thanks for being awesome

This Safeway mislabeled their sale item and when I tried to get it at the price advertised right in front of the product they made me prove it! So right before Thanksgiving after waiting at self checkout for a long time, because "no one from the meat counter was there," they made me take a picture of the product because they didn't believe me! Wish I would've had my white husband with me, but alas I'm just a brown minority so even after I proved it to them with a picture which took lots of waiting around and lots of time. They told me that that turkey and all the turkeys around it were mislabeled. After all that wasted time the manager finally conceded that Indeed the sign and mislabeling was their fault 🙄🙄🙄

Hire more people.This review reflects NOTHING about the staff working, they are doing their best. It's not THEIR fault you have the place staffed at what feels like a skeleton crew, to the point you have to have a sign apologizing for the gas station closing early due to being "short staffed".This is baloney. You're a corporation. You can staff your store enough to be sure you've got a gas station attendant.Pathetic.

Prices are extremely high. However they have a good selection of goods and a very clean store with a Starbucks in it. I don't like the parking lot, however I don't actually have a whole lot of complaints for this place. You can get your gas, food, and some Starbucks all the same place.

Out of a lot of stock ! Bakery lady was extremely rude when I asked if she could PLEASE add more cream cheese frosting on cinnamon rolls as there was very little on them.She literally made uncalled for comments.Won't return to this location / Fort Morgan, Colorado!

Edit: This place has become ridiculously expensive. Not just inflation: But dollars more per item then the other competitor in town.I am giving a 5 rating mostly for the people who work there. Besides that, it beats its main competitor in town in meat selection.

Love our Safeway. Produce, Meat, Deli and Bakery are outstanding in service. Checkers are friendly and very knowledgeable. Manager Chuck and Asst. Manager Dustin are friendly and helpful with whatever i might need. I highly recommend the Floral Manager Chris for all your flower arrangement needs. She will do her best to make you happy with your gifting needs. Come on by and let them show you shopping can be a great time.

We had called in and ordered some food from the deli with a pick up time right as the deli would be closing three lady (Savannah) was very nice said she would have it ready for us no problem we had a situation happen and was going to be late picking up when i called expecting to not be able to get our food (Savannah) told me there wouldn't be any issues that she would still be there and our food would be ready and warm sure enough it was she was so nice about us being late and head everything ready to go thank you again Savannah for everything. The employees at this safeway continue to be amazing evert single time we go in I see the employees going out of their way to help thank you everyone you guys are rock stars.

Front line staff is great. Often out of stock....whoever is in charge of ordering not quite hitting the mark, even before covid. Freezers finally back online. YAY. Was feeling like Fallout for a while.

This Safeway desperately needs a remodel so that more people can be accommodated in line. 2-self service checkout lanes are a good improvement, but they should be open early in the morning and late at night, not just when the service desk is manned. Lines frequently jam up aisles and the front of the store. The selection is fine, some items tend to be overpriced, others tend to be excellent. Would honestly prefer a meat counter to the Starbucks, but I understand it. The pharmacy location is laughably bad, the parking lot is also a disaster. Employees are nice and friendly, but the store desperately needs a remodel from the parking lot up.

Excellent Safeway. Very clean, and the produce section is amazing. Clean, fresh vegetables along with easy to reach produce bags. The isles are a bit smaller than your large box stores, but the quality, cleanliness & customer service makes up for that. And the donuts are spectacular!

Everyone at this store is always very friendly and helpful. My youngest son is a lactose intolerant and they went out of their way to order some lactose-free items for me. Love going here.

Every time I go to this store there are not enough cashiers open and long lines for check out. Plan on spending at minimum an extra 10 to 20 minutes just standing in line. Did self checkout this time because the line was shorter, still had to wait every time the sensor said "extra item in bagging area," employees were nice but overwhelmed, get more help!

I sometimes go in the morning during a weekday. The checkout process is slow. It could be due to short staff. They only have one cashier and the self checkout is not open. The location is clean and they don't block the aisles when sticking.

Items was put in wrong price places. Need more people working and less self checkout. Also took 3 or 4 calls over the loudspeaker to find someone to take care of myself and another customer. We waited forever for propane.

It's great. Clean. Nice and friendly staff. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars, rather than 5, is simply the selection of foods. I'm a Celiac and can not eat gluten. I wish they offered more gluten free food like King Soopers in Brighton does. It would save us the trip to Brighton.

This is a nice grocery store. The staff here have always been very friendly. My main complaint is that the deli department is very small so they don't have much of a selection which feels boring and there is also not much for fresh seafood. Still this is my preferred place to buy groceries in town.

I understand that the prices are higher because they’re union, but when there are no registers open and I have an employee standing there watching me check out my own groceries the entire time!? There’s no reason not to go to Walmart.
