Easily the best groomers in NoCo!For the past 6 years Wagz has been my go to. Having a dog that struggles with anxiety, is terrified of kennels, and has hip troubles is tough for groomers and for myself. So when I pick him up and he not only looks (and smells) incredible but also doesn’t want to leave because he’s getting so much love from Kylie and the entire Wagz crew it melts my heart and cements in that this is the place for him.They’ve always ensured he’s comfortable and as relaxed as possible. Everyone has a positive attitude and is attentive to his needs regarding anxiety as well as rests when needed for his hips (and a hip support while he’s getting trimmed).The store part has a great selection of treats and bones including allergy friendly options, jackets, food, boots and collars of course. Staff is knowledgeable about the products and somehow they are less expensive than places like PetsMart. Quality is the key word and Wagz takes quality seriously.Over a 6 year period he’s only had maybe 3 different groomers. That alone speaks volumes when it can be tough to retain good folks especially in a college town. Each groomer has always asked how they can best make it a good experience for him and they impress me each and every time.Seriously you can’t go wrong heading over to Wagz. I live 30min from town now with more local options yet have still and will continue to take him to Wagz.

Our old Golden Retriever Oscar came in for a grooming today and Jaime greeted us knowing him by name as well as stated that she remembered him as a perfect gentleman which made us very happy.Our sweet boy is getting very old and when going to pick him up Jaime very kindly informed us that she noticed more senior symptoms in our Oscar and comforted us by explaining how she handled them.We really appreciate the loving care and amazing groom she gave our Oscar, and we hope he gets to see her for his next groom as he loves love her too!!

Thank you Kaya, Emma and Ivey! Kenji my dog and I were walking to this lovely pet shop when the skies opened up and poured buckets and buckets of rain on us! We were cold and wet and these ladies welcomed us and helped me for Kenji into a warm doggie sweater and rain jacket and even gave Kenji some doggie treats! They made us feel walking even though we were wet and cold and taking rain all over, lol. Truly a nice staff and the store was so cute and had so many pet necessities. Would recommend and all return!

I wish I had brought my dog here for grooming sooner! He was really matted and they were so kind and not judgmental! It was the best grooming he’s ever gotten! I’m only going to Wagz from now on. Excellent groomers, great customer service, and a great local store to support.

Wagz has a great selection of healthy food and treats for both my cat and dog at reasonable prices. So is their toy selection. Their grooming is the best and they are so kind and gentle with my sometimes difficult dog, working with us to get her a good cut and wash!

We absolutely love bringing our dog to Wagz in Ft Collins and our dog Spike absolutely loves coming in. He grabs bones regularly and always has to see his Sweetheart Jamie for his monthly bath. They treat him like a celebrity and with so much love. Everyone here is always so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend stopping in for a treat, toys or a bath for your furry friend.

This place is great! Marlene did an amazing job; she’s very thorough and you can tell she cares a lot about animals, my dogs loved her. Wagz also offers a loading zone for when you drop off and pick up, which is super nice, seeing as they are right on College in Old Town. I’ll definitely be back!Ps: My dogs hate getting their nails cut, but luckily she has a doggy straightjacket 😂

We brought our dog in for his first ever professional grooming. Our groomer was wonderfully reassuring as she got us checked in and had a great understanding of us wanting him trimmed up as much as possible but without pushing him too much if he was scared. Our dog is clean and trimmed up and happy as can be!

This place is amazing. Need more? It took two and a half weeks to get an appointment. For good reason, they're the best. This is the place to take your pet. Hannah, Jessica, and Hunter are the MOST amazing people. Jessica helped me fit a harness to my Sheltie (like, she moved the straps around and everything to get the perfect fit). They were done in less time than stated with the cut/ and I told them to do what they recommended. And Suzy Q turned out like a new puppy. They were the utmost of courteous to my puppy dog.Don't bother with anywhere else. This. Is. Thee. Place. They have an impressive selection of pet toys, and treats, and even dog puzzles as-well. Despite Amazon, they have a BETTER selection and knowledge. Trust me, I know. I have Amazon Prime, blah blah blah...this place is better. Blah blah blah, don't believe me? Okay, hey that's cool..whatevs DOG. You're loss. This place is a MUST go for anyone who loves their dawg, and wants them to be taken care of by the best.One last pitch?....They're affordable. I was expecting $50 more than was charged. So, I spent it there.The only thing that could have been better: I wanted to purchase a personalized doggie tag. Which they have. But they didn't have the colour I wanted....that's it folks. I'm picky about my colours. So take my advice, my dog's advice, and the reviews advice and just go here. I haven't had as much fun shopping for someone in months. And mid pandemic, you owe it to yourself, and your puppy doggie.Edit: took my puppy back here again. She got treated excellently the second time. No complaints!

We've found our spot! Just picked up my 3 month old Shih Tzu from her first grooming ever. Button was very clearly comfortable and content at drop off and pick up. Looks and smells so good, and is super soft! Very fair pricing and a lot of good products in the market as well. All staff I've interacted with, from the initial phone call to now, has been very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I've already booked my next appointment. The services were well worth the drive from Cheyenne (roughly 40 miles). The location is great also, as there is plenty to do in old Town Fort Collins while they work their magic on your pet.Highly recommend!

We have taken our bernedoodle here several times and Emily has done a fantastic job every single time. She knows how remove matting (without cutting them out) and groom a bernedoodle coat! We have tried other groomers, but learned our lesson from their hack job haircuts. Our pup typically hates being taken to be groomed but it's obvious that Wagz knows how to create a nice environment for him.

I took my dog to Wagz today to get groomed. She was seeing Jasmine and it didn’t go well. From the start, Jasmine was very rude and unfriendly. I was told my dog would be done in an hour and a half (I was having her hair shaved bc it was matted and long, as well as having her ears cleaned and nails trimmed). In addition, I was asked if my dog moved a lot, and if she didn’t then she would remove a fee that Wagz has that charges for if your dog moves during the grooming process. Fast forward an hour and a half and I receive a call from Jasmine saying that she didn’t finish grooming Harley as she found 2 fleas on her (the owners told her as well to just stop in the middle of grooming, saying it goes against their policy). I already treated Harley for fleas this week and sprayed my house with treatment. The fleas on her were either dead or dying, which Jasmine later acknowledged while on the phone with my mom. I was charged $30 for just shaving her body, which was done horribly. Her body is uneven lengths and covered in mats on her neck still. My dog looks sad and I now have to pay for another grooming appointment at a different venue this week. Jasmine has done this before with my parents teacup schnauzer saying that she wouldn’t shave her bc she seemed scared of the razor, but still charged a grooming fee. I have included pics (blue collar pics is how she looks after grooming usually, others are after Wagz)

I called on 2/2/2024 I could bring my dogs in at 10am the next morning, for a nail trim. It was raining, hard to find a parking place, and I get there and was told oh Sorry she doesn't come in until 11:30. Bs won't be back

I take my dog to Wagz primarily for the grooming but the entire staff is very friendly and helpful and they have just about everything you could need for your dog or cat. The grooming is the only place in Fort Collins that I've found that does a great job thoroughly brushing out my Brittany's fur and trimming his nails without breaking them. I highly recommend Wagz Pet Market & Grooming!

Marlene is GREAT with my puppy and my older dog as well. They're always so happy to see her when they go in! Always have a good experience when we go in & my dogs always leave smelling good & looking cute. Definitely recommend 10/10. Make sure to book your appt in advance cuz it gets booked fast!

Two times out of three we were booked for the wrong grooming service and turned away at the desk. This last time was so frustrating, we were going away and had planned this. My wife and I were both there when we booked it so there’s no mistake on our end. The front desk was unwilling to help or accommodate and told us, if we didn’t want the bath, the only way to book a grooming would be next month. So frustrating, they need to really work on their communications customer service.

We were told this place was amazing but that has not been our experience. Being a first time dog owner we are new to it all. Our first grooming appointment went well. When we tried scheduling our second you would have thought it was an act of God. Given our puppy was being spayed we had to wait to get the all clear from the vet. Wagz was very inflexible and told us o my one groomer would cut our bichons hair. When we finally brought her in they shamed me for the mats in her hair and told me it would be a “traumatic” experience and that “they have problems with puppies”. She made me feel immense shame. I left in tears and was told my people at the coffee shop I went to afterwards that they too have had bad experiences. We will never come here again. They are not flexible when it comes to scheduling and are snotty.

My parents were in town from warmer climates and needed some cold weather gear for their dog. Everyone at Wagz was very helpful and friendly in getting their dog fit for boots(?) and a jacket, and we did an easy exchange for a jacket for our dog that was too small. Great store!

We had a great experience here today! Our dog has been needing a new harness and we asked the staff if we could measure her so we'd know what size she was. They immediately did everything they could to help us! They helped us with measuring her and let us try on a few different harnesses in the store and walk around with them to make sure they fit. We found one that is perfect! We took our dog for a walk immediately afterward to try it out and it is SO much easier to walk her now! We're so grateful for all the help.

I love Wagz! I think the staff is so friendly and kind. I have a nervous dog and they know how to respond to her. Marlene is a very calm and responsive groomer. My dog is so nervous for a nail trim (the vet had problems, they needed her medicated before her nail trim) and with Marlene doing it there is NO problems. I highly recommend Wagz!
