They helped move my p.irminia to a new enclosure. They were very skilled.They've now designed and helped me transfer both my suntiger and my trinidad gold. The enclosures they design are both pretty to look at and my Ts seem to like the hides, bark and substrate. I cannot say enough good things about this place. They are really helping me become comfortable as a tarantula caretaker. Highly recommend for anyone new to the hobby.

We came in to get educated. We left educated with no questions left and my daughters had the best experience with the 2 gentlemen working in there tonight. They were so polite and friendly and patient. One brought out his snake, Goofy, and let my daughter hold her for a small eternity. Honestly the most awesome experience/ interaction. Thanks guys!! Absolutely fantastic pet shop. Brought home two new babies today, a snow corn and anery sand boa, and they're already settling in great. The employees also gave me their feeding history, which was a nice touch! I'll continue to come by for more hides, substrate, and feeders!

Great staff, great help. I’ve got my Savanah, and kids bear died here. Animals is great shape. Recommend if looking for a reptile or feeders to go here and just ask them questions if need to.

Came in to buy a leopard gecko for my son. Staff was great and walked us through everything we needed and how to take care of our new pet. Let our kids hold multiple geckos until we found the perfect one.

Hands down my favorite shop. My leopard gecko recently got a procedure done on her. The vet I took her to gave her too much medication and we very worried and weren’t sure if she’d make it. I went in to get some stuff that could help her heal and recover from the ridiculous amounts of medication. The employees were very helpful, they gave me tips on how to help her and recommend that I give her silk worms and soak her in electrolytes. After the soak she started to act more like herself, she had more energy and strength. They pretty much helped me save my baby girl and I’m beyond grateful for that. They even recommended a vet that could take better care of her than the ones that almost made her overdose! Thank you guys so much! My baby is back to being herself and is recovering very quick!

The guys are super friendly and helpful here i had gotten my male beardy from them he was neglected before i got him and they gave me all info on him to help give him the best care and he is doing so much better eats good and is so lively

Scales ‘N Tails is a wonderful reptile shop and was able to provide me with the necessary food, lights, vitamins, filter, toys and heater for my turtle to enjoy his habitat fully. ( Rocks not in store )

I’ve been to many of the scales and tails and this one never smells and all the animals look well cared for. Every enclosure has water and food they do not harass the animals for every one just wanting to see. Staff is super knowledgeable on most everything if they don’t know another their will. If your looking for new pet that doesn’t bark, meow or flap with feathers give them a try.

Nice place, that is cleaner than most. I was disappointed to see so many reptiles on sale today (at full/high prices) that had obvious defects. Savanna monitor with a nubbed tail and missing nails/knuckles high value uromastyx with muscular problems and missing nails. I previously purchased a tegu with mouth rot, the shop owner responded well and, upon me implying, paid for whatever treatment they had available to fix it. Problem was fixed. But would recommend you handle and evaluate any adoption thoroughly!! I personally wouldn't pay their prices for defected lizards.

Reckless husbandry; they left a live mouse to wander around a snake's tank for several minutes, risking harm to the snake. This is unacceptable for a specialty store. Very few of the tanks look or smell recently cleaned, either. I will never be buying anything here.

Scales 'N Tails is absolutely amazing. Their staff is always super informative, and are always willing to help. In fact, we've recently relocated to Alaska and I have 2 ball pythons, a corn snake, and a leopard gecko. They were more than willing to send them up to AK for me, since we moved in the middle of winter. Absolutely love the store and I will miss it dearly!

The last two times I’ve been in there the store smells unbearably bad and the enclosures were filthy. Also overheard an employee was giving incorrect advice on how a bearded dragon should be kept.
