I wandered in here on a quest for something to tempt my picky eater of a dachshund-terrier mix. I wasn't expecting to find the sheer number of excellent, quality food brands here -- all things I would have had to order direct from the supplier otherwise. Staff helped me find everything I needed quickly and gave helpful advice to boot. I even found the exact color of collar I'd been looking for! A significant improvement on the box store brands. I'll be making this my go-to pet supply shop.

I wish I could give them more stars. They are that good. Old fashioned good friendly service from the people that work there. The staff is so knowledgeable on the different dog foods and they seem to know about a lot of the science coming out about pet nutrition My dogs veterinarian has been telling me that a grain free diet may not be best for my dog and the people at Poudre Feed took the time to help me find the right food. I appreciate the good service!

This is my favorite pet store in Fort Collins. They have a huge variety of products and they are good quality. The staff are always nice and helpful. And they have a dog wash in the back which makes bathing my dogs SO much easier than trying to do it at home. Plus they clean up. 🙃

My 16 year old pitty needs a special food..I've ordered directly from company..2 day delivery took 2 weeks..poudre pet had the food & had more at other locations..since I live in the high country..I have to stock up so Munkeee doesn't go without..they took the time to have the bags delivered to one location and called when they came in..HUGE HELP to us!!!!People are wonderful to work with!!! A major win for this pet owner!!!!This pooch can rest easy knowing hes got a full bellyThanks!!!

I get the majority of my pet supplies at Peter pet and feed. The employees are generally friendly and knowledgeable and I like shopping local! Like everything else, their prices have been going steadily up.

I came into the store to utilize the self wash station on 6/16/22. They had very limited supplies of shampoo and absolutely no conditioner whatsoever. I had an employee tell me that I needed to bring my own shampoo and conditioner for the self wash, even though I payed for the use of their items to wash my pup. The tub was dirty upon arrival and I was not pleased with the attitude of the employees. I have had such great experiences at other Poudre pet supply stores, so I figured I’d give their self wash station a try. Needless to say I will not be returning to this location. I would not recommend the self wash station, but they do have a large supply of food, toys, treats, and other items to choose from. There are a few other dog stores in downtown FOCO that have upbeat employees and cleaner more efficient self wash stations for your pet.

The staff is amazing! They're all obvious animal lovers. When I take my big baby in he gets so much love. The staff are funny, but professional. It's the only store I go to for real, quality edible animal products.

I have yet to leave this store without a smile. The staff are excellent; friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They are always recommending products that fit what I'm looking for for my dogs and cats. Highly recommend!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of bird seed. They have some high quality cat toys like "Go Cats" mice for cats to chase and the Yeowww catnip Pollack Fish (best catnip ever). But not 5 stars because they don't carry any cat food wet or dry by "I and Love and You" which my cats love and is a Colorado company. I go next door to Sprouts where other people must do the same because stock is often low. I would love to get all my animal supplies here but I can't.

Three employees in front of the store. Two behind the counter. No greeting unfriendly attitude. Ask one with her dog about two items , both with an attitude like I was waiting her time. First and last time in your store. I have been in the pet field for over forty years. This has to be the most unfriendly and dingy and unprofessional establishment I’ve been in.

this store is less than a mile away from my house and has seemed like a great option due to my positive trips to other locations, but every time i’ve gone to this location it has been an unpleasant experience. most recently, i went in with my very well-behaved malamute to pick out a toy for her birthday. my dog was very politely sitting by me while i was looking at the (very messy) dog toy display and one of the employees proceeded to give me unsolicited advice on how my dog should be wearing her harness- saying that my FRONT CLIP harness wasn’t designed to be clipped ON THE FRONT. i asked why and she informed me that with such a “big and unpredictable” dog, it was unsafe to use the front clip. again, i did not ask for any advice, nor did my dog display any “unpredictable” behavior. the customer service here has always been lacking and the employees have always been rude and unfriendly. it’s too bad that the staff is incredibly unpleasant at this location, you are better off visiting the store on college.

Although the store is quaint, this is my go to pet store for many reasons! They offer a wide range of chews, sell my favorite dog and cat food brands such as blue buffalo and natural balance. Their prices are actually cheaper than some of the major companies (depending on brand but as an example Natural Balance is $3 cheaper compared to petsmart). The best part too is that they are only 10 minutes away from me, so if i need that dog/cat food asap, it's super easy to get to! The staff are very nice and my pup loves to say hi to everyone there. I'd say human and dog tested, human and dog approved!

This Poudre Feed is the BEST!!!!! I require assistance to get my products. Not only shopping but then to the car. I am able to call up and order and then they will bring it out to my car for me. They are so gracious and so kind to me and act like I am never a bother to them. They all deserve more than 5 stars and I so appreciate their kindness. They are an awesome crew. Thank you for all you do for me.

Aubrey B over at the Drake and Lemay location is a saint!! She was kind enough to take the time to share all of her knowledge regarding what would be the best joint healthy dog food for my black lab. Unfortunately, pet owners have to be careful who we get information from if they are being commissioned for certain products or not. Poudre Pet and Feed aren't paid to sell a certain brand. Aubrey just wanted to help out of the kindness in her heart and give past experiences to narrow down what would be best for my pet. It's really refeshing to have conversations with people like her who just show that they care! This lady needs a raise! Thank you so much again Aubrey!!!

Are you kidding me?!?!? I called to check on a product. They had it in stock so I told them I was on my way and asked if they could wait for me. "well I hope you get here in time". They close at 7 and I showed up at the door as they were turning off the 'open' sign exactly at 7. They then opened the door RUDELY tell me I was too late, they were TAKING AN ORDER ON THE PHONE but they couldn't help me because I was too late. This store is closest to my house but from now on I will never shop here again! This is the most pathetic customer service I have ever encountered.

I usually go to this location however I will be finding a different location to go to from now on the two girls working yesterday at 1:30pm we so rude doing the curbside orders. One of them wearing glasses rolled her eyes at my dad when he asked a question about dog food. Such rude service. Hopefully the shop/businesses owners get these girls PROPER customer service training seeing how their response was to roll their eyes 😒

I go to POUDRE FEED & SUPPLY once a month to buy feed for birds & squirrels. Over the years if they are out they will check with their other stores and let you know right then.or they will soecial order it at no extra charge. Very helpful & friendly.

Self serve dog wash is great. Their supplies really help us out a lot, special detangler spray and brushes are great. Bring your own dog shampoo for an extra 2 dollars off.
