Great business, awesome people and healthy animals. I got a mixed flock of 7 pullets Oct 21 and a couple were only a day old. They are thriving, spoiled beautiful chicks. They currently reside in my spare room until next month 🤣👍 Thank you guys!!❤️

We ordered 2 different breeds of baby chicks, 40/60 all pullets. When we received the phone call on when they would arrive I confirmed it would be okay to pick them up Sunday and not Friday since we were driving so far, I even called again that weekend to confirm. When we got there the girl couldn’t find 40% of our chicks, of course the more rare breed, my guess now is they sold them to someone else. The girl was nice but she really struggled to find any of the other chicks that didn’t have horrible caked on pasty butt, many chicks didn’t even have water. Surprise surprise 40% of our order was also replaced with Roosters! Being told how many chicks and orders they deal with as a consultation is not a flex on success but on poor management. They offer to take the roosters back after they are bigger so they can then just sell them for more $.

I've been really happy with the starter grower feed I recently purchased here! It's about twice the price of what I usually get from another local feed store, but it lasts about three times as long, so it's a better value. My young pullets are thriving on it!Service is always great here, too.

Can't say enough about how much I love Northern Colorado Feeders Supply. I took their chicken class this past spring which lead to me getting chickens from them in April. I'm at the store almost every two weeks buying supplies for the chickens and their staff is always incredibly kind and helpful. In addition, while the chickens were growing the folks at the store were knowledgeable and willing to answer and questions we had along the way.

Got bantems from there, and their setup was just something I did not agree with. Their chicks did not look healthy, and they kept a dead chick in with the live chicks saying it was "fine", and we came home with a chick that ended up dying that night because it was lethargic, and couldn't walk right, and she was overall sick looking. No hate to the employees, they were nice, but it was just overall sad

Was very saddened this morning. I went in to get some chicks and thank goodness I went in the back to where they had them all housed before hand because they all looked in bad condition. They all have pasty butts and the lady seemed unphased by it.I used to go there for all my needs and 90% of my chicks but it looks like those days have passed.

I literally won’t go anywhere else since finding this gem. Staff is amazing and especially, Danielle. Huge thank you to Danielle for all the help - she goes above and beyond. They have special ordered me whatever I have asked for and have all been so informative for a new chicken keeper. Their prices are extremely fair compared to other feed stores, and their products and livestock are superior. I just wish they were closer!! I recommend them to anyone who will listen.

I was debating on leaving a review or not but after reading a month ago a similar experience happened, I could not not say anything. It's unfortunate they are one of the few places nearby that carry a wide variety of heritage breeds. One of my children spotted a dead keet so I went to check it out and there were actually two dead keets in that cage and at least another two in the one above. I immediately told an employee and he brushed it off saying they were sick and they were trying to help them. I told him they were clearly dead and he ignored me. Another employee came out and I told her and she just blew it off saying we will take a look. No one took a look. As my children were admiring the baby keets with a few dead ones being trampled, one pointed out it was disturbing. It was disturbing. If you have a sick or injured bird and you are trying to help them you should remove them from the mass so they do not get trampled or possibly get the other ones sick, that would be helping them. This was not an oversight, the two employees right out ignored us and didn't budge from their spot behind the counter to take a look. As we were the only potential customers in the store, they were definitely not too busy to check on them or remove them they just chose not to.

Such a fun store with some great feed and bedding options for my new flock of chickens. The staff are super helpful and knowledgeable.My only complaint is that they are not closer to my home, but it's well worth the hour drive!

Just visited this store and bought 6 baby chicks! The employees were very friendly! The store is cute and has a good selection. Adorable (and very well behaved) greeting dogs and cat when we walked in. Will definitely be going back!

Danielle and her team are simply wonderful and are eager and willing to help customers of various experience levels pick out the correct supplies for their flock. This is the best feed store in town, hands down. They have been here forever, and really know their stuff. I know I can come here and they won't be out of what I'm looking for, which has been a big problem in the past with other feed stores. Additionally, this is THE only place to buy chicks. They take amazing care of their chicks and know all there is to know about chickens, chicks and their care.

Can't say enough good about these people. Products & feed and advice are all good; they know what their doing. Chixs I bought there grew up to be big and healthy hens. Their starter mash really did the trick. I drive about an hour to get everything I need. It's well worth the trip. My chickens are happy and healthy.
