A nice place to shop.While it's not as "luxury" as some of the higher-priced store, this store is very clean, well-stocked, and not overly crowded. While you may get into "bumper cars" in the produce section, the rest of the store is pretty calm. If I feel like taking a minute deciding which pasta to buy it's unlikely I get scooted out of the way by a college student or aggressive yuppie (neither of whom know the value of "excuse me").The managers actually smile and answer questions when asked. The folks in meat, produce, and dairy seem happy to help ("What's a parsnip?"), no matter how silly the question.For a Kroger store, this one has a more visible commitment to customers when compared to most of the others (especially the other Fort Collins locations).Many thanks to the management and crew for making shopping a little nicer.

Over a year ago, I noticed that employees were picking up all of the trash bags from the cans in the parking lot and putting them in the shopping carts. They were also rolling up the floor mats and putting them in the shopping carts as well. When I asked the manager if they ever cleaned them he said no, that is what the wipes are for. I said that that has to be a health code violation so he said that he would take care of it or look into it or some thing.He never did. The floor mats are in a shopping cart almost every time that I walk in there. Today as I was walking in, I noticed that 2 employees had picked up all kinds of nasty trash off the sidewalk and put it in the bottom of the shopping cart. No trash bag. Just trash. Again, floor mats rolled up in the shopping carts. Disgusting!I saw a manager talking to them and I asked him if he was aware of this situation and he actually said “yes. That’s why we hand out the wipes to wipe the cart down” . Same answer. ! And I said “no one ever cleans them?“ And he said no and again mentioned the wipes. And something else about their prices being so low. I guess that means they save money on people cleaning the carts. I couldn’t quite figure out what he meant. When I got upset with him, he said “what do you want me to say?“I would say don’t put trash bags and loose garbage and floor mats in the shopping carts. I like the convenience of location but I’m going to look for another grocery store. Before posting this, I read some other reviews and I have to agree on a few. The bait and switch on items that are “for sale“ until you get to the cash register and the savings don’t ring up at sales price.The one miserable Woman at the Chicken counter that I have seen yell at old ladies more than once. (I started making my own chicken). And now they are making some of the aisles so narrow that only one person can can go down at a time.Or all go in the same direction. Today, we all had to wait as the King Soopers online shopper filled her numerous carts with breads etc.I’m sure that any other grocery store that I choose probably doesn’t clean their carts very often but I’m hoping that they don’t use them to haul their garbage like King Soopers. Seems like a health code violation to me. At the very least, it’s not very appetizing for agrocery store. I told the manager that I was going to take a picture and post online but when I left, they had taken the garbage and floor mats out of the carts. it wouldn’t have been a great ad for King Soopers North college.On the plus side. Most of the employees are very nice.

The worst grocery store in town, maybe even the state. Meat department service case is almost always completely depleted before 7PM and they do not refill it. I understand this is a holiday weekend so they’re busier than normal, but this happens during normal business times too. Since they don’t have butchers in their stores (all their meat comes pre cut from a production facility - very little if any meat is cut or ground fresh in the store), they can’t even cut you something fresh if they’re out of it. Today was the last day I try to shop at King Soopers. Also, for how big of a grocery store this is, it seems like it’s not even half filled with groceries. The rest of the store is filled with cheap retail junk that can be purchased elsewhere at cheaper prices. Kroger is an awful company and should be ashamed of the way they let this store be run. They are not about standards or values - just profits. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Unfortunately I will often come to this king soopers because it's conveniently on the way home. If the one on Taft was on the way I'd much rather go to that one.This king soopers located on N College is horrible.Not once has any of the cashiers not been rude at anytime I've been there.I'm so tired of the rudeness at this store.Get your staff together and have a meeting about how to appropriately interact with customers. The customers don't need sarcasm or rudeness.

We had always had a good impression of King Soopers until this online shopping experience changed it. We purchased $74.60 of groceries through their website, but after pickup, we received a notification that $87.10 was charged to our credit card. Please note that this is a notification from our bank and not from King Soopers! After I politely emailed them to inform them of the issue, I was once again surprised by their response after 4 days, which was unreasonable and arrogant and told me that was it and that we were not at fault. Please note that if the price of one or several items increases from $74.60 to $87.10, we may not buy it, no matter what difference you say they have!

Until about 5yrs ago, this was my favorite grocery store. Since then it's gotten worse and worse. Many of the staff have little to no work ethic, and I find myself feeling empathy for the few that do. The pharmacy in particular is completely aggravating. Used to be great.In fairness, this whole area has taken a dive lately. The homeless problem is not being dealt with in any effective way. That has to have an effect on everybody, staff and customers. In the end, for a list of reasons, shopping here has become depressing

Huge selection of impossible meat, well organized. I saw a poor cashier getting screamed at by a customer because he insisted on checking her ID for alcohol purchase. Despite her rudeness, he stayed calm and kind.

I was in the King Soopers N. College last Sunday evening, I was in very hurry, not time…And then exactly when I was paying for my purchases I realize I forgot my wallet at home.The money in my pocket not enough to pay for the milk,it was very embarrassing.But the angel who was working as a cashier at that moment offers me to pay for the milk with her own money.I really wish there were more people like her in this world.Thank you so much Seraphina Shapiro for making this world better and thank you kings Soopers for having employees like her.

Wow talk about a major super center, store has everything. They are a full supermarket plus a full department store like toys, kitchen, outdoor section and everything else.Pretty much everything you could want in one place. Everything was pretty well stocked, large parking lot and other satellite stores nearby.

Let's start with your employee who drives the white subaru (I have photos) that aggressively tailgated me then illegally passed me on their way to work. When I realized they worked there, I went to a different store. This on top of drug use in your dirty bathroom, fights in the parking lot, items constantly out of stock, rotten produce, and the very dystopian recording playing over the loud speaker in the parking lot warning customers to be aware of their surroundings. This store is so ghetto. All the security guards dressed up like dog the bounty hunter are there for good reason. Seriously, Kroger corporate should shut it down. I will not spend another dime at your store.

Even though I am only a mile from the Taft Hill KS, I go north because of the frustrating remodeling that is going on at the Taft store. Now OMG, they are doing remodeling in the north store too and narrowing the isles! Hey upper management- do you care at all about “customer shopping experience?” I have shopped KS stores when I lived in Cheyenne, Denver, Colo. Spgs., Aurora, Loveland, and now FC. With all those yrs. as a customer I have never considered switching stores…Until Now!

The staff in the front are for the most part usually really friendly and helpful. The pharmacy is another story, they almost seem annoyed that customers need help. I won't be back to use the pharmacy.

We had an amazing experience with the bakery. We asked for a full sheet cake and smash cake for my daughter and sons birthday party. They not only did everything we asked but they even added more amazing details to the cake. It tasted wonderful and everyone was asking where we bought the cake from. VERY happy with the outcome and will be coming back for all of the birthdays through the year!

This place is big. They offer more than just food too. They have clothes, some appliances, pharmacy...all kinds of things. It's just real nice inside. They're frequently busy. I love the doughnuts selection.

Whomever is managing the beauty/cosmetics department has upper-management written all over them. Shelves fully stocked, organized, and is the ideal corporate flagship model I sure wish other Kroger/Sooper’s stores would emulate and it also leaves the other locations with much amelioration with their incongruously looking shelves.

We’ve been shopping at this King Soopers, since it opened a number of years ago. Not only is this a fantastic grocery store with a wide selection of food, they also have all kinds of personal items, such as clothing, dishes, and other household accessories. Located on the north end of town.

Generally pretty good selection and quality. However, I have noticed I get cashews that are marked down 3 dollars for at least the past 2 months but never actually updated in the system. It makes me wonder how many items are "discounted" on the shelves but then ring up at full price.

This King Soopers store at 1842 North College Street in Fort Collins CO CONSISTENTLY closes earlier than what they have posted on there store hours displayed at the store, likely unbeknown to upper management!! Last night (Monday 10/9) I arrived to the store 12 minutes before closing time after driving 18 miles to get there, in an attempt to get some medical supplies for an unforeseen emergency. As I approached the sliding automatic double doors at the entrance, I noticed a young man locking the doors, I look down at my cell phone and it was 10:48 p.m. I was literally 8 inches away from him on the opposite side of the glass doors standing outside the doors, and he looked right through me expressionless, like I wasn't even there, like I was a ghost. This King Soopers employee did NOT even acknowledge me! He simply locked the doors turned around and walked away. Then another employee peaked his head out through an interior doorway and gave me a little smart alec smirk and then turned around and walked away.While this was going on two other customers whom I don't know at all walked up behind me and also wanted to enter the store to get a few things before posted closing time, which is 11:00 p.m... That was it 10:50 p.m.This is by no means a one-time occurrence, I believe it's happening every night or at least several times a week, as I've run upon this situation four times in the last 3 months each time I happen to arrive after at the aforementioned King Soopers store at or after 10:45 p.m, but before 11:00 p.m.On this particular trip I drove down from Rist Canyon up in the to the mountains to the aforementioned King Soopers store at 1842 North College Street, Fort Collins CO, which was a 36 miles round trip for me, in an attempt to get some medical supplies due to an unforeseen emergency. The employees were rude and callous!!

Good prices, its worth signing up for the card you will end up saving a lot of money and theres a gas station in the parking lot where you can redeem points to get some money off your fill ups! Staff is about average for a supermarket but the selection is really great and they have lots of stuff here from foods to clothes and home goods.

I am glad other reviewers are noticing this too - you see something on sale so you throw it in the cart. You get to the checkout and you will VERY LIKELY be charged full price.I have started to take pictures of the sales tags as I shop so I make sure I am not getting ripped off at the check out. The checker today even had the audacity to question the sales item until I showed her the photo of the sales tag…There is no way this is an accident.

The store is great....but one small thing in the deli. Why does the elderly, stringy grey haired lady get upset when she has to help a customer? Lots of sighs, mumbling under her breath and clearly shows she does not want to interact with people. Other than that the store is fantastic!

Went to pick up an Rx that Express Scripts wouldn't give a discount on, and which was expensive. King Sooper's own discount program gave me a great discount. Thanks, King Soopers, for helping those of us on limited income get what we need.

The store is generally fine, but the self-checkout is infuriating. If you don't place a scanned item on the bagging pedestal fast enough, or take a finished bag off the pedestal to start a new one, the computer freaks out because I guess it thinks you're stealing something. (I'm not sure how that makes sense after the item is already scanned.) Then you have to wait and hope an employee notices so they can unlock the scanner. It's a waste of time.
