This is the first time I have bought a boat second hand. I went to Island Lake and Marine in Fort Collins Colorado. I had them go through the boat make everything ready for this year 2024. I talked to Dave and Beth they went through everything and explain what was done. And answered every question I had. They are very friendly and helpful and said if you need help with anything else don't to give us a call for any questions.they really explained everything in detail. I will be back in the future.

My husband brought our boat in a long time ago, and due to health issues and other unforeseen circumstances, we couldn’t get the boat out for over a year. Within the year I called and asked if they could just sell the boat for me because my husband wanted me to see what we would get. They said ok and the repairs were around $2400 so they would take that off the top, and they were only going to be able to sell the boat for around $6000 so they’d give me a check for $1200. I declined and waited for my husband to be around and go in to deal with the situation. Turns out they were offering him $10,000 for the boat, with only taking the $2400 off for the repairs. Meaning we’d all of the sudden walk away with around $7500. My husband said no and paid the repairs and took the boat. While on his way out he found out that they were going to sell it for $13,500. They tried to only give me $1200 when I called, but when my husband came in they offered $7500. Is this a joke? Come on, how stupid can people be? What a sexist and ignorant place. Someone please explain to me why when I called it was such a horrible offer, but when my husband goes in…he gets a way different price. This place is a complete joke.

Last week, the ignition switch in our Tracker locked up. I stopped by the parts department and met Kayla, who was a boat boss! I only had a photo and a prayer, and Kayla helped us identify the correct replacement switch. She was patient and took the extra time to triple check that this switch would be the correct one. We seamlessly installed it today! Thank you, Kayla, for your guidance and kindness!

Buyer beware. These people are amazing when you’re buying a $150k boat but if you ever need service on your new boat please know the service department is so incredibly rude and extremely slow. We had our boat winterized and summarized by this place and our boat is not the same. Things aren’t working that we’re working before. It TOOK 3 WEEKS FOR THEM TO FIND A TKME TO GET OUR BOAT INTO THE shop. We took it in tonight and . we asked when we will have the boat back and the managers reply was “we will get to it when we get to it!” He was so rude. I hate dealing with their service department. If you want all around good service from purchase to maintenance I would not recommend this business.

Had our boat serviced here previously and always left happy. Today we were told they no longer accept any boats older than 2005 “because those boats are never maintained properly”. Our boat has been maintained meticulously. Won’t go back (and clearly don’t have an option but to move on anyway). Terrible business plan and poor management.

I had a Great Experience at Island Lake Marine! Super clean facility, very friendly/helpful staff. I worked with Kayla in parts. She is very knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and especially not pushy. She listened to my needs and came up with Great solutions, the mark of an Excellent sales person I would say! I live in Denver and drove all the way to Fort Collins, that says a lot!Check it out for yourself! Oh.... and by the way, they have a lake on premises for test drives, etc.Super Happy!!

I cannot recommend this place enough. We recently purchased our 2004 four winns from them and the whole process was almost too easy. Garrett was an amazing salesman and JB was great as well. They never once were pushy and had a great selection to choose from. Communication was always prompt and professional. The day we went to test out our boat on the water, they took the time to show us every single detail of what we should expect to be successful out on the water. I would give more then 5 stars if I could and we will continue to recommend this place to family and friends!

My experience with Island Lake Marine is among the worst I have ever had with any business. They were going to sell our boat on consignment. It has been there since April. They charged us a ton of money to fix every minor issue on the boat and then did nothing to try to sell it other than put a few pictures up. The sales staff doesn't return messages (phone and email), communicate about offers, follow up on offers, or have any ideas on how to sell the boat. They give the impression that selling boats (at least used boats) is not important to them. To top it off, while the boat was there, the staff put a huge hole in the side of my boat (see picture) and showed little urgency in fixing it (still waiting for that). If you decide to do business here that is on you. We made that terrible mistake and are paying for it.

I couldn't be happier with the service I have received from island lake. From the initial sales process Andy has been amazing. He sold us our ney Heyday surf, went out with Lua or first time to show us some tips and tricks and even helped us get all the little warrenty items taken care of. I am 2 hours away and they make every effort to meet me at their other store in cherry creek. Great team at Island lake

We spent a week at Cheery Creek State Park, and Island Lake Marine and Sports helped us have the BEST DAY EVER with our rental! We rented the 21' deck boat, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our son, his girlfriend, and the kids were meeting up with us about halfway into our rental time, and Jared was awesome in helping us coordinate being able to pick them up. We couldn't have been happier and are looking forward to the next time we come out. On a scale of 10, they are an 11! Thanks for helping us have a really special day filled with wonderful experiences for our family.

We had a great experience with Island Lake Marine recently at Cherry Creek Reservoir. We were taking our boat out for the first time this season to celebrate a birthday of a family friend. We ended up having some issues with our boat which Dave from the Marina store helped us resolve by going above and beyond. He was very friendly and interested in us having a great day on the lake which we did thanks to him!

This is a dealership that truly cares about its customers. The salesman I worked with was top-notch and made our whole buying experience a pleasure. We bought a used ski boat and on the third time out it developed a manifold exhaust leak. Even though the boat had no warranty, they fixed it no questions asked. One of the owners there, Scott, is very involved and has been able to address every concern I have had with a lot of patience. This is a clean, organized, and very friendly company to do business with. I highly recommend these guys to anybody looking for a new or used boat.

I bought a Glastron GT225 from Island Lake Marine in May and have been very happy with the buying experience, and with the boat! JD found us exactly what we were looking for at a reasonable price.Just recently, when I was winterizing the boat, I noticed power steering fluid pooling in the bilge. Thinking this was related to the power steering actuator which had been replaced prior to purchase, and would have therefore been covered under warranty, I took the boat back to Island Lake Marine. Well it turns out there was a hose leak which was unrelated to the actuator, but the service department diagnosed and fixed the problem and topped off the power steering fluid all as a courtesy!I couldn't be happier with my experience at Island Lake Marine - with both their sales and service department. Next time I buy, or need work done on a boat, this is the place I will absolutely be going!Thanks you guys!-Nick

I'm a Centurion owner and have worked in the boat industry for about 8 years. I was surprised how this Place stays in business after the way I was treated! Stopped in there about a Week ago and walked in and no one greeted me and everyone acted like they were to busy. The people we just sitting around doing nothing. I went back to the service and asked for some help. The guy in service was very rude. I asked him several questions and he seemed like he was to busy to look things up. Good thing there was a lady back there that helped me out after that. She was very nice. But the guy sold me the wrong fluid for my boat. I won't be back to that place anytime soon! I don't care if your buying a boat or a rope just be nice.

Parker and the rest of the team at Island Lake did a phenomenal job repairing my boat. It's was 10 year old boat with some wear and tear over the years. After their repair, the boat looks and runs like brand new again! I would highly recommend their fantastic service to any boater around.

The staff at the Cherry Creek Reservoir location were great. They got us on a boat after we were left high-and-dry by another company with which we had a long-standing reservation, and even gave us a discount in light of the frustrating situation. We will definitely book with them again in the future.

Stopped in today to inquire about purchasing a boat. Walked around showroom for at least 30 minutes and no one seemed interested at all to help us. Was walking towards to the door and was told "have a good day!" We took that as our cue to leave and that they weren't hurting for business. Won't go back.

I am done with these guys! Two years ago mechanic ran bad gas through engine even when he was told to drain fuel before starting. Then he tells me it's $750 to replace injectors. I've tried selling a boat by consignment and all they can say is there is no interest in the boat, but when I listed it in Craigslist I get 2 calls a day and a cash buyer for 5k more then they offered to sell the boat. Overall attitude of sales staff is they are doing you a favor just to be in their presence. Well I'm done with you.
