I would give zero stars if that were an option. The negligence of Ashcroft directly led to the death of both of our dogs. We did everything we could to save them, (20k in vet bills/ICU at CSU Veterinary Hospital), but the damage was too great. You never think when you board your dogs that you might not ever have them home again. Sent an email detailing all of this to Ashcroft. No response. Silence. Heartbreaking.

We absolutely LOVE Ashcroft! The entire staff is always happy to be there and excited to see our crazy pup, Benny, when he shows up! Best of all, Benny loves it as much as we do! All we have to do is say “Do you want to go play today?” and he starts jumping up and down with excitement. Along with having fun and being socialized he is also chill and tired with the Doggie Daycare hangover when he gets home. Best sign he had a fun day. We use Ashcroft for boarding and grooming as well and could not emphasize enough how great they all are. We are so lucky to have them and trust me, you’ll feel the same way!

Our doggies LOVE their friends at Ashcroft! We have had a few people from their staff see us out and about and will come up to us because they remember and love our puppies so well. Every time we send them there, they are exhausted at the end of the day. Best ever.

As a new client, we arrived for my 11mo old dog’s Meet & Greet only to have a staff member immediately recognize my dog from the information on the intake form. It’s clear they do their homework and care about each individual dog.He had an awesome experience and we received a detailed report card—filled with adorable photos of his day. This after an employee gave a detailed and informative run down of his day.I’ll post another review as our experience grows, but first impressions were flawless!

Only had one day there for daycare with my puppy so far, but he had a great time. It was his first ever big socialization event and the staff were great easing him into the experience and helping him gain confidence. The report card they sent me at the end of the day was fantastic! He will definitely be going back. Huge plus that they do tours for pet parents, and meet and greet days for free.

What a huge relief! I was truly struggling trying to find GOOD place for my fur baby. This place is doggie HEAVEN!! I am a very anxious dog mama, and everyone there was so friendly and patient with ALL of my questions! After Kiowa’s meet and greet it was so reassuring to get a report card! So cute! My boy absolutely LOVES it here. All day he gets to play with his new friends and is taken care of. The staff here genuinely care for all the pups as if they were their own, and I really adore that. When I pick my boy up he is all worn out from the fun day he had, and we cuddle for the rest of the night. If you want a place where your fur baby will be safe, be taken care of, and have an absolute amazing time, Ashcroft is the place to go! 10/10 I recommend. Thank you Ashcroft!

MY DOG CONTRACTED A SERIOUS ILLNESS HERE. DO NOT GO HERE. For one, it consistently smelt like dog pee when I went in to board my dog. My dog was in good health and completely vaccinated but contracted the mystery illness that has impacted countless dogs around the state while being boarded here. I woke up to him barely able to breathe one night and the ER vet told me if I had waited any longer to get him help he could have died. I informed Ashcroft of his illness and how expensive it has been (over $1,000 all combined) and they never returned my emails. For an organization claiming they care about dogs, I find this absolutely disheartening. Please hire Rover or go somewhere else. These people did not even send an email out to their clients informing them that a dog staying with them had this illness. This is a SERIOUS illness by the way, please look it up. It is fatal to dogs and has already killed numerous dogs. My dog (who is only two years old) is still sick and I am still having to pay for medications and vet appointments. WITH NO HELP FROM ASHCROFT. Absolutely unethical. I do not trust them anymore at all.

The team at Ashcroft Pet Resort saved my dog’s life today. She started having breathing issues and a team member rushed my dog to an emergency vet. The vet said that five minutes later and I would have lost my best bud. I have always had the best experience at Ashcroft, whether boarding or grooming. Both my dogs get excited to visit. This is an exceptional business and an outstanding team that truly cares for your pet. Thank you!

This is the BEST place to board your dog! We travel a bit and have have left our white lab several times in their capable and loving care. We get photos and a report card about her daily and each time it looks like she is smiling! The techs give treats and brain games to her and she makes loads of buddies.The facilities are perfect ( loads of fresh air), smell clean , and the staff are extremely friendly and capable. Lily is always excited to arrive at Ashcroft and looks beautiful when we pick her up..yes, the grooming is superb! Thank you all for taking such good care of our girl!

I had my poodle, Gatsby, groomed at Ashcroft. The groomer did a fantastic job! I cannot even believe how handsome he looks! I couldn’t recommend Ashcroft more highly!

The staff did an amazing job keeping us informed on how my 3 puppers were doing, with pictures and daily report card(which I loved getting). They did also were able to give 2 out of 3 dogs their meds. I did take a tour of the kennels. Very clean and well maintained. Have lots to do for the dogs when they go outside and the staff has good interaction with the dogs( giving them pets and cuddles when needed).

My Saint Bernard, Gus, gets groomed at Ashcroft. We’ve been twice in full undercoat blow… like hair-pocolypse, hair nightmare everywhere condition. They do a deshed and bath. He loves them. He’s a big boy that doesn’t always like people but he loves everyone at Ashcroft. He comes home without any undercoat, happy and with his nails cut. It’s really pretty amazing.

Original ownership sold this company recently and is now under a corporate and clearly bottom line driven structure. The employees can’t explain their own pricing/fees as everything is an add-on on top of an already expensive baseline service. I can’t get past an introductory call so how can I trust them with my pet for boarding?

Ashcroft came highly recommended to me by my vet, and I am very happy with how easy it was to reserve boarding, and pick up/drop off. This was my first time boarding my puppy, and she seems just as happy as before. I would recommend Ashcroft to any of my friends, and will happily bring my dog here in the future!

Wonderful place to board our doggos. The puppy report card at the end of the day was so reassuring. They were well taken care of and were happy when they came home. Our big guy needed a shirt on because he had some stitches that weren't quite ready to come out. They helped make sure that nothing happened and his shirt stayed on

Due to a family medical emergency and hospital visit, my vet’s office at Mountainwood Pet Hospital in Windsor, CO recommended Ashcroft Pet Resort , Ft. Collins, CO for daycare, as they heard great reviews about them and I should give them a call. They were very accommodating. Our beagle, Ladybug, had a really good afternoon playing and interacting with other fur babies. She exhausted herself and slept the whole next day. I’ve given three recommendations to try Ashcroft to my dog walking friends. We are looking forward to Ladybug having another fun day with them. Terrific people! They were a tremendous help while we were on vacation in the Fort Collins area. We have 2 senior dogs who have never been boarded, and one is dog aggressive. Ashcroft worked with us to set up day boarding while we took a day trip to Denver. The dogs did so well that we booked a 2nd day to enjoy Old Town. During the 1st drop off our dog aggressive pup was quite anxious. But on the 2nd, he barked less and was happily running towards one of the employees inside the kennel drop off. Thank you so much!! We were so fortunate to find a great facility and have the peace of mind knowing the dogs were in good hands.

I've used them for my lab over the past 6 years, and this visit I added our new addition puppy. He's a Chihuahua / Spaniel mix. We've only had him 6 weeks and he has had little social interaction before we got him. I was concerned about how he would do as he has only bonded with myself, but the staff worked with him and he had a good visit.

AMAZING experience! Brought my dog Gemma in for a meet and great and it’s been the best doggy day care we’ve tried! Gemma spends all her time with humans and doesn’t see other dogs often so when she does she gets extra excited and a little anxious. Other places labeled her aggressive even though she’s anxious but Ashcroft gave her the time she needed to adjust! They are the ones who actually recommended she stay all day and by the 2nd play time she made friends! I am so happy we found them and can’t wait to bring Gemma back! They provided a report card and photos of the day and it made me so happy! I honestly feel they cared as much for my dog as I do! We’ll be back for day care and boarding, plus I can’t wait to try the grooming also! You guys have a customer for life :)

I was very happy with my experience at Ashcroft. I boarded my two small dogs for a few days and the staff was very kind, helpful and prompt when answering all of my questions. I could tell that my pups were tuckered out from their stay (they are usually very high energy and restless when I have picked them up at other boarding facilities) so this was very appreciated and tells me they were given lots of attention and playtime. My dogs ran out of food on their last day there and the staff called to alert me and ask if they could provide their house food which I thought was nice and went appreciated. Great customer service and great stay for my dogs. I think my dogs enjoyed it so much, I may have to consider daycare for them for more frequent visits. I will definitely only be using Ashcroft for boarding going forward!

Please do something about the stench. Some bleach will do wonders with the smell. Also don't let sick dogs come into the facility. My 2 dogs contracted kennel cough last year.

Fantastic dog boarding and day care! We’ve been using them for three years and still like them. They remember our dogs, boarding is a breeze, drop off takes less than five minutes for play days. They have all areas, kennels and runs set up with a system of fences that keep dogs separate and moving where they should go. Most importantly our dogs are always thrilled to be dropped off!

I looked at so many different places to board my pup. When I arrived they gave me a tour with no problem. Most places ask for you to make a reservation for a tour. I thought what could they be hiding!!Ashcroft has taken care of my pup for almost a year. I wouldn’t trust him with any other place. The play yards are cleaned right away. They don’t let stools sit out at all.They take extremely great care of your pup if they need medication.Communication is always there!! No matter how many days you call to check on your pup!!I would give them a 10 if I could.

First visit to Ashcroft with our 10 month old Bernedoodle! Everyone there was super kind and friendly. She had a great day and can’t wait to take her back for more play days. They sent us pictures and a report card on her first visit. I felt she was very safe there and the staff knows what they are doing. This is an excellent place to bring your dog.

Moving to a new area and needing to find a new doggy daycare/boarding place is a stressful process. Ashcroft, however, has been an incredible tool we love having in our back pocket. The dogs love going, the drop off and pick up process makes it SO easy, and they know our dogs as more than just names. I would recommend Ashcroft to anyone because we trust them with our two pups and don’t even second guess dropping them off.
