Amazing people and the vet we saw who is known as the ferret queen by other staff was extremely professional. Everyone was, my family is so very grateful they were able to see us as soon as they did and that they do see ferrets even though they don't outright advertise it. Unfortunately my sweet baby girl was now necessarily beyond help but outside the likelihood of being able to lead a healthy life so we made the extremely difficult choice and eased her pain to the other side. She will be so very dearly missed 😭

Advanced Animal Care has done so much for my family. They took such great care of my senior dog Buddy. When it was his time they were so compassionate and caring. My second dog Sampson is a very anxious boy and they are great with him. They know how to work with his anxiety. I am so thankful for Advanced Animal Care.

I bring both my cat and dog here. The vets have went above and beyond for any care needed. They do not charge you unless they absolutely know the animal needs it. I’ve never felt pressured into getting anything done or pay an outrageous amount. We also brought our older dog here for euthanasia and the staff was the sweetest and never rushed us out of the room. Best vet in town.

This is in regards to the kennel. I toured the kennel two weeks ago and was told there was space available for the dates I wanted. It looked very nice. I was told my dog needed shots updated ($60) and vet records . Both were done the following day. Was called the following week and told everything looked good and expect a phone call to book. FINALLY, a week later, (after two calls to them) received a call from them and they are completely booked. I'm so frustrated. I will not be recommending them to anyone. Totally incompetent management.

Disappointed. The veterinary side of this business has been cordial and professional but the daycare and boarding side has been a mess. We have taken our two dogs for a few overnight stays and each interaction has been confusing and unprofessional. We enrolled our dogs in half days of daycare so they could get exercise during their stays only to find out they were never taken out of their “suites” for their entire boarding stay. The communication seems lacking in between staff members which results in the dogs not getting the care that we requested and paid for. In addition, this is the only daycare and boarding facility in the entire Fort Collins area that required canine influenza vaccines and conveniently they are the only vet that administer the vaccine.

Convinced this may be the best vet in FoCo (possibly world?). The staff is awesome and super knowledgeable, the facilities are super clean, and the doctors TRULY care and take the time to cover everything in detail and answer every question. Paired with the fact that they share a roof with Dog Tails daycare and boarding makes this place a no -brainer. Thanks Advanced

We really felt like we had a wonderful experience with this clinic. We found their hospitality exceptional, especially because we brought in our cat on an urgent call and it was her 1st visit to this clinic. Dr. McCullah(sp?) was very thorough about explanations and options. She was thoughtful and very personable. She even followed up for two additional days with texts to see how our cat was doing, eventhough she was scheduled to be off. We look forward to going back and having our cats be seen at this vet moving forward.

Dr. Katie McCullough was incredibly thorough with our pup's check up, and really listened AND addressed our questions/concerns. You can tell she and the staff really care about your pet, and we had no hesitations sending our dog in with them while we waited in the car (totally understandable in the wake of COVID). We were really impressed with how smoothly the entire appointment went from start to finish. The staff did a nice job communicating with up prior to the appointment and following up afterwards. We are excited to find a great vet and team!

This is a DAYCARE/BOARDING review. I was very disappointed with my experience here. Firstly, dropping dogs off is strange and unprofessional - you go in through the back where you have to fill out several pages for boarding; there is nowhere to sit or write, they covered up the windows so you can’t see the play area, and you get locked out when bringing in your dog’s things. Second and most importantly, the communication was very poor. I called to check on the dogs during a week-long stay, and found out they had not been in half day daycare that I signed them up for. I was told they had never done the “introduction” despite having previously boarded there under the impression they went out to daycare then. No one communicated the introduction process to us, and so our dogs had been boarded twice without the daycare we signed them up for, and no one told us! Third, the prices are steep and not worth it considering the other issues. Will not be returning.

The staff was very nice on the phone. However, I made a special trip here to pick up some prescription dog food on Saturday and they were closed at 2:30. The hours listed specifically say that they are open until 4pm, but the sign on the door said 2pm. Please update your hours. We were frustrated with our experience.

We’ve been coming since our dogs second round of puppy shots and have had nothing but incredible experiences. Our dog Ollie sees Dr. Wells and occasionally his wife, and they are both amazing. They and their medical assistants go above and beyond to create a very comfortable experience, making Ollie actually enjoy going to the vet! We take Ollie to their daycare DogTales as well and he absolutely loves it. We feel so welcome at both the daycare side and the vet side, and I cannot recommend Advanced Animal Care enough.

Dexter, my beagle mix is not only my dog, but my son. I rescued him from the Denver Dumb Friends League 11 yrs ago. After having Dr McCullough exam him, conduct his dental work and advise me of his condition and needs, I have entrusted Dr McCullough with his care. She has excellent communication skills to complement his technical qualifications. Without a doubt, Dr McCullough is one of the best Vets I have ever dealt with. In addition, the facility is spotless and the staff quite competent. If you love your pet, go to AACO & see Dr. McCullough.

I'm picky about my vet. My pets have conditions that need monitoring, adjusting, trying, specialists, and I've worked in clinics, and I have related degrees. That kind of picky. The team at Advanced has consistently impressed me, even with the complications and fatigue of a pandemic; they have taken excellent care of my animals and of me. On top of that, Andrea makes my dog look excellent too. 6/5 highly recommend

My initial experiences with Dr. Chen at this vet was good - she was very nice and had good service. However, the last visit with Dr. McCullough was less than desirable. When I brought my pup in for surgery, I had clarifying questions about the financial part solely because it was not communicated that I had to pay in full on that day. I was speaking to one of the vet techs who later went and communicated my confusion to Dr. McCullough. I was completely caught off guard by her behavior immediately upon approaching my vehicle. She was extremely abrasive, defensive and argumentative, when I simply had a question and was very calm with her. While asking for clarification, she told me that I could just go somewhere else to have the procedure done (on the day of surgery). Her hostile behavior made me extremely uneasy, as if I wasn't already nervous enough about my pets first surgery. I communicated to her that she was creating a hostile environment for little to no reason. This, of course, caused me to become concerned about the extent of care she would provide to my pet during this critical procedure. She began making the entire situation about her, raising her voice and stating that if I didn't trust her I could leave. This minor situation about a payment escalated to a horrible service issue due to poor communication skills and service by this doc. If she cannot communicate effectively with people then she probably should not be allowed to interact with customers directly. This caused me much doubt and anxiety prior to my pups first surgery. She is very unprofessional.After our interaction, another nurse came out to get my dog and I explained the situation - but also issued an apology to Dr. McCullough because I wanted to take accountability for anything she received as less than positive. She also apologized to me later that date stating that they had been dealing with an aggressive dog that morning which made her be a little on edge. Regardless, you do not act ill towards customers who have done nothing negative to you. We could have communicated like the professionals we are or she could have stayed inside if she deemed herself unable to effectively do so.Additionally, I spoke with the clinic managing DMV (a male) who listened and was a lot more well mannered than her -- but still didn't seem to be worried about addressing the actual situation. She should not be allowed to be hostile with customers who are likely already struggling with whatever illness their pet is dealing with.I am unlikely to visit this vet again or let my pet see her. I still worry about whether she provided the best care for my dog. But most of the techs were decently kind and well informed. The follow up care seemed to be of good quality too.

I took my dog here for the first time recently and all the employees were so nice and professional. They kept my dog so comfortable to the point where he was wagging his tail as they talked him through getting a shot. The doctors are very knowledgeable and answer all of my questions. I will definitely continue to use this vet for future pets as well.

We came to this clinic and were very pleased at the care our small dog Chloe received. Dr. Sodaro is an excellent vet and would recommend her and this facility to anyone. Thank you to Dr. Sodaro and everyone here for the care you provided.Update 3 yrs with this clinic and the service is always great. Dr. Wells and Dr. Sodaro have been excellent with the care of our 2 new dogs. I am sure we will continue to come here for many years to come. I am a Colorado Native for over 50 years now and have been to many vets. I highly recommend this business.

My husband and I needed to schedule a quick reservation with Dog Tales due to my husband’s mother’s death in SC. Not only do we have 2 Rottweilers and 1 Yorkie; but 1 of our Rotts has fear aggression from his first family. He is our rescue. They went over and above to accommodate us. In addition, while in boarding, my Yorkie had some health issues, most likely due to the stress of missing his human parents. But, they were very complete in assessing his health status and kept in touch with us continually while doing so. We are so happy that our pups can be cared for at Advanced Animal Care in our absence.

My love muffin has been attending Advanced Animal Care day care for about a year. She loves the opprtunity to play with other dogs. The outdoor setting of the day care offers plenty of room for dogs to run and play. Her favorite part is Splash Time. She gets to swim with other dogs in an enclosed pool one day per week for an extra fee. Staff are friendly and do a good job managing all the dogs and help them to feel welcome. It gives me peace of mind to know that she is well cared for in a clean environment by staff who love animals.

I was referred to Advanced Animal Care by a neighbor who had used their boarding service a number of times. I was looking for some place I could take my 12 year old Anatolian, very recently relocated from Florida to my home here in Ft Collins. I had to be in Denver for a few days and Maya, within a week of the three day road trip across the country, had not completely integrated into our home. We have two other dogs and my 90 year old mom lives with me...she relies on a caregiver's help and her walker for her every movement. I was amazed at the quality of care and attention Maya was given by the staff at AACC from the daily play time to the special attention she received from Dillon each morning. He knew to massage her achy old joints just like I do. It was also comforting to be able to check on her in her kennel each night to see her curled up on her cot. The staff was wonderful from the front desk to the techs that bathed her and those that saw to it each day that she was given the attention she needed during this transition time. They exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them for both boarding and the daycare/play time they offer.

A great veterinarian clinic. Being a first time pet owner I was scared when choosing an animal hospital for my little girl but I am sure glad I chose here versus anywhere else in Fort Collins. As I said, being a first time pet owner I did not know what to expect when visiting the vet and the procedures that took place when they are examining your pet. But the GREAT doctors, staff and technicians make it so transparent and easy to understand based on what they are looking for and why they are doing what they are doing when examining your pet (especially when a problem occurs).A little story from my experience: After I just picked up my first puppy who already had her first round of vaccines done else where (because I picked her up in another state) I took her here to get her second round due to a referral and the great reviews I read about this clinic. A day after she started experiencing digestive problems. I called AACOC right away to make sure it was not a huge concern and they immediately got me in to take a look at my puppy and gave me the medicine and all the information on her condition so I can treat her infection correctly.I HIGHLY recommend this clinic. Especially as a first pet owner they are nice, friendly, and informative and I mean come on they have a swimming pool for your dogs. That's pretty awesome.

I recommend Advanced Animal Care to everyone! We first when there when my dog needed emergency surgery on a Saturday. They were able to get me in and were so wonderful to me and my pug. Ever since, my dogs have had several health issues, but AACC have helped my girls get healthy. The staff really care. My dogs are always treated with care and they are always friendly. It's a great environment; you can tell thought was put in so that they could make it pleasant. I love that they have several resident animals as well. They have everything there, so I can get all the care my dogs need in one place.

I recommend Advanced Animal Care of Colorado to everyone who asks me where they should take their pets for boarding. We took our dog there last summer and it was great! The lobby is clean and there is a nice ambiance! We took a long weekend and I felt completely confident that Charlotte was in good hands. What I really loved about it was that I could watch her through Advanced Animal Care's video capabilities on my cell phone. The downside? I spent too much vacation time just looking at my dog! "Look, she's sitting." "Oh, look, she's sleeping!" Could not recommend Advanced Animal Care of Colorado more!
