First, my apologies to all employees that were present for the interaction with the aggressive old troglodyte baggage that decided to start a fight.Second, my apologies to the cashier I disagreed with the one day on what the job of a cashier is, as seen from a CSR perspective. My job is to be nice to people, yours is obviously to put up with human garbage like the cow I interacted with and mentioned previously.Third- The health dept in Fremont county is currently run by an untrained and unqualified person. The county had to get a waiver to hire basically anyone, because no one whos qualifications matched legislated requirements, would take it.Did you know?-They use non-servicable devices purchased at Harbour Freight for their temp readings? Those same devices often have variances of +/- 12°! You can record all interactions with them as CO is a single-party consent state and there is no expectation of privacy? You have the right to know and record all brands and models of devices used for enforcement? They have to notify you, in writing, of their reasoning supported by legislation, judicial precedent, or sound and peer-reviewed academic information? Otherwise, get a lawyer. Sue the County, the Department, and the unqualified individual that shouldn't be holding that office anyway. Public employee protections only extend to qualified employees as determined by legislation. The DHS is an Administrative finger of county government that has next to zero legislated power. All you have to do is get someone with a Juris Prudence degree involved, colloquially speaking, a seated judge.

Super expensive prices. Cost me just under $12 for a dozen eggs and 1/2 gallon of almond milk. Other than that it's a clean and well organized store.

They treat my kids and I like outcast. We have been followed thru the store one cashier in particular made a racial comment under her breath regarding my kids being half black.

The prices are a little high but the employees make up for it by being so small town friendly. Love their bakery and fresh french bread. Good quality meat and veggies, just a little high priced because it's family owned and operated. The help is extremely friendly and I use their pharmacy and wish I could afford to shop here more.

The deli staff is consistently rude. I now take the extra time to drive to Canon City if I want deli food. I will make lunch at home or skip lunch rather than give my money to these people. The produce is often spoiled or on the verge of spoiling. Last time I went in I could hear the deli staff talking among themselves and dropping f-bombs.

Great store good service lots of items and there well priced .added bonus after I paid she informed me that I have a free gallon of milk a loaf of french bread and a tote bag I didn't spend that much I was surprised and happy a must go to when you are in the area traveling and I'm sure the locals feel like that as well.

The rudnes and ignorance of the checker, followed up by the alleged manager was shocking!We have shopped here for over 6 years. Apparently a staff change has taken place.We are done! City Market, Safeway, and Walmart are less than 20 minutes away. Big D's stands for Big DISAPPOINTMENT.

Nice little store, clean, fresh, well stocked, nice employees, pretty good prices too. Location right there on the main drag downtown Florence Colorado, more so on the East End of town. Plenty of parking. Overall good experience

Small store, prices are way too high. If you’re shopping fresh vegetables, they’re a little more reasonable, but any of the shelf or freezer items forget it! take another 20 minutes go up the road to either Safeway or Walmart.

Amazing grocery store. Is everything cheaper than other places? No.Is there going to be things that are cheaper? Most definitely some good buys(definitely can't match their meat specials).Just left(first time visit) and I had a lot of help from all of the friendly staff. A store is only as good as the staff and the staff definitely made this a very enjoyable visit.

I would have given Big D Super foods a 5 star rating but they are being bought out, so it seems that nothing is as it was. I was Very Happy with Big D and especially the Deli and Produce departments. Guess we'll see what happens.

It's a good place to shop. Store is nice and clean, friendly clerks and staff. Their meat department is top of the line,fresh cut, ground or tenderized to your liking. It's a short drive from Canon City and worth it, especially if you like good, fresh meats.

Rude older lady at the cash register standing there doing nothing yells she’s not open after I ask if she was open then got upset about my 3 month old puppy that was in a vest harness that was attached to my boyfriends arms/chest, while I had a cart full to the top of items (clearly we had been in the store for a long time, why wait until i want to checkout? Is it because I asked if you were open to check me out?) The lady behind her that actually checked me out was friendly along with the man that bagged the items, but I won’t be coming here again. I usually have a pleasant experience here and the previous workers have always been very sweet to my pup but she’s special needs and I can’t shop anywhere without her as I cannot leave her home alone. Will be spending my money elsewhere.
