My daughter found pieces of glass randomly in the canned drinks and proceeded to put it in her mouth. I got it out thank God and she was fine but I cut myself in the process. I talked with one person who sent me to one of the managers and after I showed her where, she kind of disappeared. Just felt like there was no one that seemed to care that much that my daughter almost choked on glass or that I cut myself in the process. I usually love going here and Iām not going to stop going just frustrated at the situation.

Shelves were mostly stocked except for things in the deli section. But they were busy with people as it was close to dinner time. People stopping on their way home from work.

They have great selection of products and the vegetables as well like bean sprouts and cactus I donāt have to drive to drive to longmont because they have it here !

UPDATE 10/29/23- Will NEVER buy meat here again. Last night's dinner was ruined by spoiled pork and old snow crab legs. Opened the PKG of pork sirloin steaks to a horrible, foul odor. Not expired, probably left out then put back into refrigeration. Gross and couldn't eat, obviously. The quality here is rock bottom, and the produce is following. So disappointing, not our store anymore. We'll go for good digital coupons(not on meat) and that's it.***************************************Nice store but the petite sirloin steaks are just a bundle of gristle and toughness. Never will buy again. Had a steak last night and half of it, at least, was inedible.

After years of mixed experiences with weekly deliveries, I'm done with Safeway and especially this store. Most recently, nearly $60 of groceries were missing from our order, as clearly shown in the photos provided by the Door Dash driver. After contacting Safeway customer service four times and waiting two weeks, I finally got a refund. Corporate customer service "cannot process" a refund over $50 so they kept passing it off to the Firestone location, who refused to respond. I only got a response after posting a negative public review and contacting my bank for a refund. The review I left on Yelp was responded to by a bot "helpfully" suggesting I contact customer service at the exact same phone number where agents told me 4 times previously that they could not do anything, which I had clearly explained in the post. So, their social media strategy is not concerned with customer service or actually helping fix the problem, just saving face. Although I did eventually get the refund, I got no apology for issue, the delay, the failure to respond, or the inconvenience. No credit toward a future order, no offer to deliver the missing items, nothing. Just literally the bare minimum after having my money and ignoring the issue for TWO WEEKS. Because Safeway acts like they have no accountability for their local stores, it's only fair to mention that the location on Ken Pratt in Longmont has AMAZING customer service but with Fresh Pass, you don't choose which store fulfills your order. If you live close enough to deal with the Ken Pratt location, it might be worth it, but be warned that the corporate office will pass the buck if you have any significant issues. Oh, and the quality from Firestone is frequently poor (bad produce, expired items, missing items), they are really lazy about substitutions (ignore them, sub weird items, or fail to sub when it would make sense to do so), and obviously the customer experience is a low priority.

I agree with Marcy H review on the steaks! This is like the 5/6th time now ive bought your bad meat and only 1/3rd of is it edible!!!! Will not be buying meat here anymore let alone shop at this store! For years now you guys have sales and canāt produce the product bc its buy 2 get one free but only 2 on the shelf! Or the produce you buy goes old and moldy 2 days after you bought it like strawberries, raspberries, peaches ectā¦.! But the steaks are the straw for me! 1/3 is edible if even that! Sirloin that has so much fat and tendons you cant even chew it! King Soopers is more of a drive for me but clearly worth the drive bc this store is horrible when it comes to food qualities and stock!!!! Will not be coming back! When i lived in lakewood the safeway off colfax was a million times better then this location and they have way more people that shop there and serve! So that says alot as well! Will not be coming back to your store so donāt waste your time on a comment trying to apologize! Been living here 13 yrs now and kings is still way better!

Well never had a bad experiences at this store. Always have what I need in stock. I usually only give 4 stars when a place is just doing the job that they are supposed to be doing. I gave it 5 stars because the Nashville Hot chicken they make in the deli is super tasty, this is not my usual Safeway and the Nashville Hot chicken at the Safeway by where I live is not as good. So who ever they got cooking at that Safeway does a dam fine job!

I live out of state and needed to send some flowers to my mom on her birthday. After trying unsuccessfully to find an area florist willing to make a Saturday deliver to her difficult-to-find address, I called this Safeway store in Firestone as a last resort. However, Jamie in the floral department took my call and saved the day.She was super friendly, very professional and went out of her way to make this happen, going so far as to make the delivery herself, in her own car, on her way home, after punching out for the day. To top it off, she called me when she made the delivery to confirm that she found the address alright.If I could leave a 5-star Jamie review, I would, but since I can't, Safeway in Firestone will benefit from having such a great employee! Oh yeah, the flowers that she arranged were gorgeous and made my mom's birthday extra special! Thanks Jamie!

There are definitely advantages to living in a small town, the Safeway here in Firestone is always a pleasure to shop at, never saw a gloomy or sad or negative customer service rep while there, everyone has bad days and perhaps I've just never happened to be there when someone was having one... what are the odds right? Because our economy is in the toilet and the prices are rising daily it seems like most of the customers are shell shocked, disgusted mad and sad that they are barley making it and it's got to be a bummer to have to see so many people that way every day.So the next time you go shopping or interact with employees try and smile and let them know you appreciate their assistance, kindness or patience, it doesn't cost you anything but may change someone's day more than you know,Thank all you customer service providers the struggle is real !!

Whenever I travel, I make a point of it to see if there is a Safeway nearby. It's something I've always done. When I found out I was being relocated for work, I was happy to find out that my local grocery store was, in fact, a Safeway.I love the bakery and deli departments.

Read the nice sticker on the pork roast I wanted to buy it said ā Cut and Wrap for Freeā I asked the Butcher to cut and wrap it and he looked at me like I had 10 Heads. He Later came back and said thatāll be 15 mins wait cause the other guy was too busy. I guess the guy I was talking to wasnāt the Butcher at all so he wouldnāt help me he must have been the Sausage Stuffer.

I came in yesterday to by the prime rib that they have on sale. I asked if they could cut it into steaks for me. The employee said he needed to ask his manager and he cut a 20lb roast into steaks and I received the ribs as well.I went back this morning to purchase one for a friend who is not able to get to the store. A young man working in the meat department asked if he could help me. I told him I was there yesterday and bought one. He immediately said only one per customer, I told him I was buying it for someone else. I then asked him to cut it into two roast and the rest steaks. He told me he would cut it into roast but not steaks.I told him they did it yesterday and if it's a problem I'll go to another store. He said great!!!Then I asked for his manager, the manager helped me out and cut it the way I askedThe manager said he's a good kid and I'm sure he is, but he was very disrespectful and I'm pretty sure they said nothing to him. I'm an elderly man and I asked nicely.Pretty sad that I was treated with such disrespect.I won't be back to that store, not that they care.

I shop here way more often than King Soopers. I find that overall, I save way more money here with the weekly deals and coupons. I sometimes walk out thinking "Wow, look at all this food for only ___ amount of dollars!" Of course, prices are pretty high for everything not on sale, but that's everywhere. Last week I was there and their coupon system was messed up, not giving anyone their couponed prices. The customer service dept was busy refunding a line of people (including me) their money back with a friendly and patient attitude! I was very impressed!

This store is super clean, plenty of shelves were full. The staff were excellent as i had trouble at the self checkout, the checker was super friendly and patient as she fixed my issue. I will definitely go back to this store and recommend it to others.

Always good. High prices. Great pharmacy. They have changed and done a "reopening." The food in the deli/prepared foods looked more full and fresh for a week after the reopening. Once the corporate team left, it went right back to their original "quality" that we are used to.

First experience at this Safeway was not the best. I came to get bandaids because my son cut his finger pretty bad (not bad enough for stitches thankfully) . We just moved here so everything is mostly in boxes so I found the closest place and sped over. I arrived at 1052, I knew they closed at 11 so I was glad to have enough time to get bandaids and be in and out! Well the lady wouldn't let me in. She said they were closed and when I pointed out the time and explained I only needed one item her response was "well we are closed" I proceeded to ask where the next closest place would be and she cut me off saying once again that they were closed. So they closed early AND the lady was rude. Maybe she was just having a rough night, hoping my next experience will be better

Clean well kept store. Employees seem friendly and helpful. Safeway is known for their service but it does come at a price. If you want great service, wonderful people, and meander while you shop, come here. If you want good prices might want to go somewhere else, though their sale prices are usually competitive. I also have always loved Safeway Pharmacies, thanks Aaron for great service today.

Our church ordered a very large quantity of subway sandwiches for a roller skating party on Sunday, March 27th. The sandwiches looked fantastic and were absolutely delicious. We live 2 minutes from Safeway and and have always shopped there until now. For some reason when we get vegetables and meat there it tends to go bad within 1 or 2 days.. The vegetables seem like they've been frozen and then thaw out while on the shelf and then go bad after sitting in our fridge for 1 or 2 days. The meat that we get turns gray and bad within 1 or 2 days.When needed we use grocery pickup and have always gone to Safeway. I placed an order the day before yesterday and in the morning yesterday I realized I forgot milk. I called Safeway and asked if they could add it to my order and after sitting on hold for 5 minutes was told that once the orders placed they can't add something to it. I've never had an issue in the past but the person that I spoke to must be new. The time that it took them to find out if they could add the milk to the order, they could have just went and got the milk and added it to the order. My son then went to pick up the order and was told he needed a code to get the order. We haven't had to use a code the entire time that I've shopped at Safeway doing order pick up. The gal that brought the Order to the car was a little rude also while my son had me on the phone. The people that work at king soopers are always friendly, courteous, and willing to add something to a pick up order.That said, I will continue to use the pharmacy because everyone that works in the pharmacy is great. As far as groceries though I will shop at king soopers from now on.

My review is for the bakery. The image on this cake looks like it was cut in half for some reason and then misaligned when it was applied to the cake. And why is the writing in yellow? I can hardly see it?

I love this little store. It's been here for over 20 years I'm aware of. As the town size has tripled if not more, the store is feeling the growing pains. They now have self checkout stations and additional checkers to help flow people through. Staff and management have anyways been above and beyond.

What happened to all the friendly checkers ? Iāve had two different guys check me out and they never say Hello or acknowledge me in a polite way. I donāt expect cartwheels but a simple Hello , did you find everything okay - would be nice. I prefer to go to a checker vs the self check out. I think Iām gonna make the shift.
