These guys are great! I absolutely love thier business mindset. I have freshwater tanks, but this store is exclusively salt water. I'd love to do a saltwater set up someday. They took awhile sharing about saltwater set up and were happy to answer questions. It seems like they have high quality products and friendly staff. They carry supplies, fish, corral, tanks, and saltwater (I think).

Wow, what a cool store. Knowledgeable staff at this family owned Coral Reef Tank store. I walked in expecting to see an average collection of saltwater and fresh water fish, and instead discovered a huge menagerie of Coral "frags" and colonies. A beautiful selection encapsulating the rainbow. Michael talks about the hobby of "reef tanking" with a passion that shows he loves what he does. I purchased a tank, and the owner came by himself to help with the install. They brought everything out that we needed, including the water for the tank! We love our new tank, and the family is excited for it to complete the bacteria cycle so we can head to Biggs to select our first corals and fish.

Everyone at Biggs Laggon are a pleasure to interact with, you can tell that they care very much about the Fish and Corals, as well as their customers! They are thoughtful about helping customers with issues, as I have had a few problems with my Marine Tank, and their advice always steers me in the right direction to resolve the issue! They also have top tier products from dry goods to livestock! Definitely worth a trip to Biggs to either check it out, or find something new for your tank. Just check out the corals I got for a killer deal, so get to it and head to Biggs!

I made the drive from Denver and couldn’t be happier. Amazing coral selection, I mean crazy. Stuff I’d never seen before, never heard of. Unreal views on their show tanks too. Got a water test done and they walked me through what I could improve in my tank. Super informative, patient experts. Every lil question I had on their show tanks, fish, and coral answered with excitement; they are super passionate about this hobby. I picked a pair of clowns, tiger pistol shrimp, duncan coral and a rock flower nem. Everything is settling in great! THANK YOU AGAIN! Can’t wait to come back soon! Late this summer after having my tank down for 3 years, I was going to sell it. I stopped by Biggslagoon to ask a couple of questions and explained what I was going to do. The team was very helpful, and even referred potential buyers my way. After getting everything cleaned up, and going back in for yet another question, Josh and team started asking me why I was selling it, to which I replied the maintenance of the tank was just kind of not what I wanted to deal with. Josh then proceeded to explain the newer filter options and the stores maintenance plan and how they could help... My wife and I could not be happier with our choice to not sell our tank, and the reason is the team at the store are incredibly nice, patient and helpful. They don't just sell you stuff to make a buck, they explain what works and what does not, they also take what we are looking for and help us plan to get there.I highly recommend the team at Biggs, this is what you are looking for in a business and a support team.

Best saltwater fish and coral store in Colorado! Their selection of fish, coral, dry goods on top of their knowledge and SUPER friendly staff makes Biggs my go to reef aquarium store, no questions asked. Bought a little school of Chromis and put them in quarantine tank for 2wks seemed fine then transfered to show tank three out of the 6 I got stomach started to blow up so I pulled them out and flushed all 6 .and ended up getting my whole tank sick taking out my blue jaw triggers. And getting all my other fish sick. I should have said never mind when I seen when he was catching them he was banging them against the glass and stressing the fish even more. I do not recommend getting live stock from this LFS.

Amazing experience dealing with Josh at Biggs lagoon! Not only did I get an amazing deal on an extremely beautiful piece but packaging was intact and unscathed plus free merch inside! He was responsive throughout the whole process from packaging stage, to shipping all the way to my tank. Josh was very friendly ,responsive, reliable and is knowledgeable in what he does. My Coral arrived completely healthy and still flourishing. I’m extremely happy with the customer service and will be shopping again.

Our first time in your store was yesterday and we loved it! Your coral selection was incredible. Everything looked healthy and super clean! The coral we purchased had no pests during out coral dip and opened quickly in our QT! Our Rock Flower found his "happy place" in our QT and settled in right away! We appreciate how clean your tanks and store are as well. You'll be our new go to for corals. Wish we found you sooner, but happy we finally did!

Really liked my trip to Biggs today! They had a beautiful selection of corals in every hobbyists budget! I drove up from Colorado Springs today specifically looking for a torch. They had an amazing selection at several reasonable prices. They were happy to answer my questions and talk reefs. Clearly knowledgeable and friendly and priced fairly. Glad i made the drive! I left with 3 fantastic additions to the tank for what I had budgeted for the one! Clean tanks, great selection, friendly people... everything you want in an aquarium store (great fresh water selection too it looked like)

Honestly, I feel so welcomed here. They had a good selection of corals and equipment and were willing to talk us through the best steps for our tank. The fish selection wasn't massive, but they did have the know how! Biggs are the best aquarium store in Colorado!! They have amazing customer service and are enthusiastic to share their years of knowledge. And did I mention the corals?! All of this and more is why we used Biggs for our saltwater aquarium installation, despite living over an hour from their store. Thank you guys for helping us start our own reef paradise!

I would highly recommend shopping at this store. Not only are the owners very knowledgeable of saltwater aquariums they will set you up for success. some of the best coral frags I own came from this store out of the lower end of pricing. They put high dollar pieces in the cheap sections on what seems on a weekly basis. The cleanliness of the store and fish/coral systems is top notch. They have some of the best and healthy fish I've seen and purchased. To top off all that they do they will go out of their way to help a customer in an emergency. They saved almost 1500 dollars in coral alone when i had a tank crash. Come check these guys out if you are in Denver its worth the drive.

We stop in on Saturday looking a few more fish and a bigger pump for our tank and we received the best service ever. Staff is very friendly/knowledgeable about their products, can answer all your questions and best of all have great prices on all their products from fish and things needed to keep your tank up. They also have a great saltwater section as well. All in all they have my business going forward.

A much needed shop/community in an almost barren area for the industry. Family owned tells me the dedication runs deep. Livestock all very healthy and tanks well maintained. Purchased a beautiful Caulastraea coral who is already fully opened and happy in my tank. Always a pleasure meeting fellow reefers and these guys know their stuff. Great shop guys! This is a great shop! We just found out it was in the area and stopped by to check it out. Cool vibe, nice selection, and awesome customer service! They were so helpful with our goals for our tank. Absolutely love Biggslagoon, the staff will take time with you to explain the proper marine biology and ecosystems necessary to keep your fish healthy. If they held a small amount of fresh a water supplies and fish I believe they would be an amazing resource for the freshwater lovers in the area as well! 😊 but as of right now they only stick to salt water.

I love Bigg's! Josh and his dad, Dale, maintain a very sharp, polished and engaging business that is focused on quality, education and the reef-keeper's experience and relationship as a customer. The storefront in Firestone is clean, visually appealing with clear intention. Livestock is healthy, happy and treated very well. Coral is top quality 👌🏻What I enjoyed the most was feeling comfortable casually chatting with Josh and Dale. They aren't judgy, aloof, or knowitalls like so many in this hobby tend to be. Dale has over 30 years of experience and Josh is visibly enthusiastic about his family's business, their reputation and the hobby.Some LFS's just sell you whatever they can and give bad advice with a profit margin on their mind. Not Bigg's! Check them out, it's worth the drive!

Wish I could add a 6th star! Customer service cannot be beat. Frags are clean and plenty to pick from in our price range - and not kenya trees and brown zoas - the good stuff. Thank goodness they suggested I rent a par meter - didn't realize that was a huge part of my issues lately with sad corals and a new light. They probably saved me hundreds of dollars with that. I wish all coral shops were this knowledgeable, patient and kind. I will be back many times!

One of the only shops I know of that makes you feel like family when you walk through the door. A group of people who genuinely care about the hobby and helping their customers succeed in what they love.In these chaotic times, it's great to come in and find a sense of normal. This is a small oasis nestled in the Front Range.Comments about not caring about their customers could not be further from the truth. I challenge you to come in and find amazing folks with years of experience and who are not afraid to answer those big and small questions.
