If it were possible I would have put no star at all. Tried using a voucher for $150 off and I had to go back twice to get the price right and then went home and before even opening my product I did the math and saw that even still I was paying $50 more then I should have been. So beyond frustrated with the situation I decide to return everything and get my money back. Boy oh boy what an experience there too 😤 went in went to the register and they refunded me went to my car did the math with all the receipts to make sure I got everything back… for the second time nope I had to go in again and get the rest of the money that they didn’t refund. I’ve never had issues with Ace this is really sad. If you are looking for equipment don’t come here. I’m not saying don’t go to Ace I’m simply saying don’t come to this one. They are thief’s. And the workers seem friendly enough at first but once you come back trying to fix and issue you see their true colors. This was a very disappointing experience.

I don't know how much training is required or given to the employees here at the Ace hardware here in Firestone but every employee that I ask what isle a certain product is in they don't just say isle 7 or whatever, they will walk me right to the product and show me the differences available, Now thats training and super knowledgeable staff, as usual, thank you all again, your great !!

I politely suggest adjusting your hours or closes doors at 6:50pm. I live in a small town and thought showing up 5min before closing time when I know what I need was acceptable, but doors where locked 6:53 and drawers being counted. What happened to the ACE hardware that accepted the guy 6:59 even thought he knew it was going to take an extra 30mins? The staff is kind and polite. Not sure the management is running the store right. I took my business elsewhere.

This ace is the place with UNHELPFUL hardware folks. Every time I walk in here I get funny looks and stares from staff not even a hello. I will walk down isles with workers and instead of asking if I need help they leave the isle. I am a 32 year old woman and this is my experience. Not the place to go for friendliness! Every time the commercial is now on I laugh because this place is the complete opposite of helpful. I feel unwelcomed shopping.

I love my Ace Hardware. Sure, it may be a little pricey on some stuff, but their customer service is the best. I'll buy that.When was the last time you went to a Lowe's or Home Depot and needed help from an employee. How long did you stay waiting before you said, "Forget it, I'm out?The people at my Ace Hardware walk between the aisles just looking for someone who looks like they need help. And the employees know all of the departments. If they, for some reason, can't help, they will find the most knowledgeable person there, and that person will likety-split take care of you.

I walked in today and had to walk around a ace employee that was blocking the entry. Walked past him without any acknowledgement at all so I began wandering the store looking for zipties. I finally gave up and went to the front desk where I found 4 employees just standing there talking with no customers around. I asked an associate where the zip ties were and instead of showing me he just told me they are somewhere down aisle 23. I went back down to that aisle and couldn't find them so I walked out. I will definitely not be going back to this ace hardware. I really hope the owners get their employees to have a little customer service. I need to mention I was 1 of 3 people in the entire store.

Went in looking to find some hardware that a part didn't come with some gate stands. Eric not only helped me find the right parts, he made sure they were the absolute right fit by grinding them down so that there would be no damage to my hardwood floors. Recommend coming here for all your hardware needs. Great service and great store.

I always have a good experience at this place.They carry amazing BBQ supplies. From rubs to sauces and accessories for my grill.I have also had great luck finding anything i need to make repairs around the house.The staff has also always been friendly. I dont think i have ever walked in and someone not say hi and ask if i need help.

I came here to get a couple patio chairs that I had ordered and get some concrete. The staff were so friendly and so helpful. The concrete bags were super heavy and they loaded all 5 80lb bags into my SUV for me, loaded my chairs, helped me pick out a bag of soil and then helped me at the checkout line. All the guys that helped me were so nice and made my trip quick and enjoyable. I didn't get their names, but they all deserve some recognition from management. Thanks again!

I have read a lot of the reviews, and many of the one star ratings are because of bad customer service. I myself have had poor service experiences, in particular with Audrey directly. One such experience was over a 99 cent coupon. For 99 cents she lost a customer completely for 2 years. Now I only visit for small things. I have not seen Audrey there for a while, hopefully she has retired and is enjoying it. The owner, who does not live in the tri town area, has never reached out to make things right. I hope these guys can survive on selling me nuts, bolts, washers, and nails.The folks on the floor helping customers are great, they do deserve a better manager.

I felt really uncomfortable walking into this store.. I wasn't greeted in a welcoming way more like "can we help you get what you need so you can leave our store" in a kind of way idk if it was just me but I never feel comfortable shopping here I feel prefilled and am asked way to many times if I need help with something. Honestly I will make it a point not to have to come here again

Employees are so quick to acknowledge you and very helpful! I bought a fire pit a week ago. It had some issues with the grout around the tiles on top. I asked about it, and how to repair it. I was offered a discount along with suggestions on making a good repair. Great customer service! I much prefer shopping at Ace than other big box stores around the area.

I had a $12 item to exchange that I bought not 8 hours ago but lost my receipt (if they even gave my one). Didn’t want money back just exchange it for like item of equal value. Was planning on spending more than the $12 I was needing to exchange. Guy told new policy was no returns or exchanges. Now I used my credit card and my Ace rewards card and still got told no. Well hope you enjoy that $12.00. It’ll be the last they get from me and anyone who ask me about Ace in Frederick. Home Depot is cheaper and cares enough about its customers. Glad it was only $12. Couldn’t imagine what they would have done if I had spent more. Feeling disappointed in someone I trusted.

We have shopped the Ace hardware store for the last 3.5 years. It is close to our home and often has many of the items we need for small household repairs. Usually the staff is friendly and very helpful, today's visit was no exception. The person that helped use was knowledgeable and helpful. So you may be asking why are you leaving only 2 stars.Because the associate that was helping us did not wear a mask nor did 9 of 11 other associates in the store. They also allow customers to enter the store without masks. During this time of Covid-19 in Colorado it is mandatory to wear masks inside. Science tells us this prevents the spread of this virus. I will never return to this store because they choose not keep all their customers safe during this deadly pandemic.I will others to do. Patronize business that keep everyone safe.

You can always get help there; there are always people right there wanting to assist you, so that's a good thing. I also like the variety of merchandise in the store, they have a lot of different, andunique things, as well as a good amount of hardware, in some cases better than the box stores in my opinion. And they're pretty friendly at this store, as they are at most of the Ace Hardware's I've been to, so I appreciate that too.

Sooo.. I don't really shop here. My mom however loves this place. She shops here a couple of times a week and I occasionally accompany her. The people are awesome. She knows them all by name. They are knowledgeable. Full disclosure, every time my mom gets ready to shop for something here I send her a link to the same product for less at Home Depot. Been doing it for years. She ALWAYS comes to buy it here. Maybe it's something in the water?

The staff here are some of the friendliest people I've met. The owner is knowledgeable and willing to brainstorm ideas on whatever you're working on if you ask. This is also a good store for propane refills. They regularly send $5 off coupons if you sign up for their members rewards.

I have liked this store for a long time: always friendly and helpful staff, as they were today.However, apparently Ace management doesn't feel that it is important for their employees to wear masks during this pandemic. I don't really care what the governer's or county's rules are - masks are a way to help keep your customers safe.I'll go to Home Depot until this blows over.Seems like their computer system deleted my Ace Rewards info.

I walked in, started walking toward a staff member and they immediately step forward and asked if they could help. I told what I needed and they took me right to it.After getting what I came for, I looked around and found a couple more items I could use. I got in line at checkout, there was one person ahead of me being checked out and one the staff stepped over to another register and called me over to check out immediately.
