It was nasty and there was stuff everywhere and it was blocking the aisles and there also was broken glass on the floor. The people who worked there had no class and every other word was a cuss words.

Kind of messy and disorganized most of the time. Not a lot of employees so that might be the issue for the mess. Lack of public restroom is also a bummer. Good selection of product and was able to grab what I needed. Good sales happening as well. 4 star only because of the mess and lack of restroom.

We have been faithful patrons of the Fairplay Family Dollar since they opened. We have experienced the ups and downs of this store and the challenges of the employees and managers. Yesterday, December 6, 2022, I was in the store for the first time in quite a while after being out of state. I was amazed at the great condition of the store! The shelves were organized and fully stocked with care. No carts of merchandise were blocking the aisles. All employees were busy working hard to stock shelves and wait on customers with focus. The floors were clean from recent mopping. The manager, William (who I assume is the manager), asked if he could help me and I let him know how proud he and his employees should be of this great turnaround. Fairplay and South Park should also be proud of this store and I encourage locals and non locals to patronize this store. Well done!

Awesome job Will! I couldn't believe the whole store was stocked and faced without a single u boat on the floor. I had. stopped shopping there but will make it a regular stop now. Thank you for the hard work

This store is disgusting. Dirty. Disorganized. And the staff is rude. Their language and music is offensive. The store has signs up for Covid but NO ONE is wearing masks dispite the Colorado mandate. They laughed at me when I mentioned it. The staff also hangs out around the registers or doors and talks with their friends instead of dealing with customers and stocking shelves.Really wish #ParkCountyPublicHealth would shut them down.Can't wait for Dollar General to open. Then maybe corporate would hire someone to clean this atrocious mess up.

So happy, was open morning after snow !! Had the tooth ache medicine I wanted, he was shoveling the walks on way in and the had it pretty nice. Isles were full but not so packed couldn't get through, very nice young lady at the check out. Awesome to feel welcome in strange town.

FINALLY!!!!! After living in Fairplay for over a year now, and having only this family dollar store the first 7 months, but it was a total DISASTER until recently they shut down, got rid of the entire staff, actually got a manager who MANAGES and does what is needed, got a whole new staff who are AMAZING, esp the new Manager, DM OR GM or whatever she is, but it really seems they are getting it in order fast, and I will finally be able to shop there again thank god!! Already in just about a week or so, they finally hv product on the shelf, the staff is super friendly and actually working my God its a new day at the Family dollar on Castello!!! Whooohooooo:)🤙✌👍😀

They were very helpful. Though they didn''t have what I was looking for. Envelopes. She let me know that the envelopes had just come in, on the truck, and were not yet unpacked. So I bought a thank you card and that should be fine.

This store used to be run by nice people. Now they will send you home with an empty propane tank, because they don't know what they are doing. Have to drive 20 miles to get it filled correctly. They will also let your 4 year old scream because they won't let them use the restroom.....even though they have one. The one employee actually laughed at my child's pain and took her time to cash us out. Upon calling and asking if this was new policy she suggested to use the gas stations around, because the money you spend there is not worth helping a struggling child. No wonder this place is a mess. Slow evil people work here. Zero customer service......not worth giving these people a paycheck.

I was just in the store and the lady with piercings started yelling. She does not get off of her phone and she is so rude!! The man also started saying rude things and rushing us out of the store. I will never come back to this establishment because of the behavior

Store was extremely messy, almost certainly due to the virus outbreak, but disorganized nonetheless. They had a few things we needed and the prices were a little high. One upside is the employees were very nice.

This store is a terrible store to shop at. They don't have most of the stuff on the shelves then the manager gets upset when people look thru the boxes on the floor !! It is a very sad store to go to. But that's pretty much all we have here in Fairplay Colorado.

They do well for what they got. I see a lot of pampered babies that should go back down the mountain if they want a store that gets products delivered by truck daily.. they get only one a week. Where's the stuff go? Use that thing on top of your neck before you complain. Or go back down to Denver if it's too REAL here!

I am a local at this establishment, normally I let the terrible attitudes, language and too loud music roll off of my shoulders but after my visit today I witnessed an EMPLOYEE housing an actual puppy in a shopping cart behind the checkout counter, this was when he wasn’t carrying it around the store for patrons to pet. Completely unsanitary.

If I could give zero stars I would, what a joke that place is. The guy that looks like he just got out of jail had Ozzy's Crazy Train playing so loud that the customer couldnt hear him standing two feet away. Super proffessional. Also heard him say the manager WAS there. Nice bro..failing at family Dollar.

It's ok. Been coming in this store for year and a half. I think management is getting straitened out. It is however very odd they run out of some stuff quite often.

Worst one I've been to. Stuff every where. I had to climb boxes to get diapers off the shelf while the worker sat on a chair and watched me lol. Also no bottled water.

I live here in fairplay , this store is so trashy , so dirty, i am ashamed it is in my neighborhood. It needs new owners.
