I can’t believe dollar general would allowed an older gentleman to run the whole store plus delivery truck and whole denver In town. I felt so bad for him without this man you wouldn’t have a DOLLAR STORE! let’s not go back to 10 years ago thank you love you hate the comments but you all know that dollar store works because is reliable than familu dollar. Bye 😘

The manager of this store is extremely rude. We tried to let her know that their pricing on bottled water was incorrect; she stated that their was nothing she could do as it was a vendor problem with Pepsi. I tried to show her that the problem was with the DG label, not the price it was ringing up at. The manager kept cutting me off and restating that it was a vendor issue and saying she has no way to change it in her register. My message to her never got through because she refused to listen to her customer. After a few attempts to help her understand my reasoning for bringing up the issue, she responded harshly with "I've told you 3 times that it's a vendor issue and there's nothing I can do". With inflation, I expect these prices to continue to change, but it would be nice to know how much you are expecting to pay when you go to the register, not get blindsided by a price that the managers cannot change and refuse to fix.

The store is routinely closed 2-3 hours before it should be due to "short staffing." This has been an ongoing issue for at least three months, if not longer. I simply can't understand how a store can get away closing hours early on an almost nightly basis over the course of many months.Also, one member of staff always acts bothered when they have to assist me. They've charged me twice for items on more than one occasion, and each time I ask to get it corrected, they make a big deal out of it. "Guess I'm not getting my phone fixed," was a response I got from them one time, after I asked them to correct their error with charging me twice for one item... I didn't realize it was my responsibility to let them update/fix their phone while they are on the clock and while customers need assistance..Sad, because the store is relatively clean and a decent selection otherwise. Get some more professional and reliable employees and this will be a really solid location for locals.

I can tell that the staff is really trying and care about the store. Family dollar down the street is a freaking train wreck so it was a welcome change to have Dollar General come into town. The selection is really good and the prices are great.

POC stay away. Employees were rude and dishonest at the moment they saw me. “Tell him any excuse to get him to go away”. I hadn’t even spoken to the manager when I overheard her say that.

Came in to buy a few groceries tonight and when I arrived at 8:47pm the doors were locked and they were closed early. Employees still inside...Google hours show this store is open until 10pm. What a bummer, hope this isn’t going to be happening every night
