I love this place! Anything you can imagine for your pets is here and all of the products are healthy for our pets!Also, the people here are very knowledgeable and kind. They showed genuine interest in our English Mastiff.Everything is clean and well organized.

I have been a loyal customer of Chow Down since the 90’s and because of Bruce the manager of the Evergreen location I will never go back! After using the dog wash today as I have for years I left in tears. My appointment was scheduled for 3 pm (2time slots 2 dogs) u had washed my 3rd dog the week before (he was the one who check me out the week prior) when I scheduled my appointment the lady told me the bath was open all day. Knowing this I arrived at 2:15 and she let me start my dog wash I finish both dogs by 3:06 checked out and went out to the parking lot to finish brushing my dogs. Bruce proceeded to fallow me out and first accused me of washing all 3 of my dogs because I had them all with me….( I had all 3 the week prior as well and only washed the 1) then he spent 25 min yelling at me because it was going to take him an hour to clean the room accused me of be late for my time slot (when I was almost 45min early) told me I need to schedule for 2 slots even though I had! Also while all this is going on it was 3:33 so I was still not over my 2 time slot’s that I payed for. He made me feel absolutely awful. I told him the week prior I had cleaned the whole room myself which he agreed yes I had that week he changed me for 30 min when I used 20 and I cleaned the room today I didn’t have enough time to clean as thoroughly as I usually do however I’m 7 months pregnant and did the best I could he did not need to fallow me out and spend this time yelling at me when I fallowed the rules. I will take my business elsewhere. 😭

Most kind and consistent customer service. Anything we need we can find it here. Love the 13th bag of dog food is free program. Best doggie soap, brand 7220 Soap, bone shaped bar, leaves my dog smelling like nothing and so soft.

These employees SERIOUSLY saved the day for us - I called, completely strung out that we were heading to the vet without a cat taxi/ kennel. I said "I'm going to be there in about 2 minutes, just please pick me out a kennel, have it at the checkout, and I'm going to Run inside and put her in it." They were so happy to help in my chaotic state, but also have always been very pleasant on the countless other "normal" interactions. Our only pet shop spot!

Well kept and clean. Lots of variety. Two problems. First they don’t know when to say “I don’t know.” For instance they incorrectly guided someone that frozen bones are safe. Any bone, eg femur beef, that is stronger than dogs teeth can cost 1000s in dental breaks. Ribs, or goat and lamb bones are much safer.Second , their items are overpriced. Overhead may be high but some of their markups are just ridiculous.

My family and I love it here! They have a huge variety of pet supplies and are knowledgeable about the products. We often go here to visit with the cats up for adoption and I am comforted knowing they are taken care of well.

Great local pet staple. They do punch cards on food & bones. Big selection of food, treats (including frozen bones), and pet gear, and an awesome self-wash area that's really inexpensive, clean, and well stocked. We also just pop in to get our pup's nail's clipped, and we're in and out in no time. So worth buying local! Friendliest folks around!

This is the greatest pet supply store, I have ever been too. 40 years buying for family pets, and I never felt so welcome, and there is always someone who will ask if they can help you. I have known Nancy for years, just a very passionate person, always willing to help. And dont forget the chow down live in cats, always greet you at the register. Please be safe with your dogs, so they dont hurt the great cats! You will never find a greater place to shop! Now I find out they have grooming. What? Omg! Jamie and Desiree are awesome! My dog looked 100 percent better than previous groomer, and my puppy most of all, was happy. Thank you so much, chow down and employees. You are the greatest place to shop!

Great locally owned pet store! They have a self-service dog wash (call ahead to reserve), and I love to take my kids to visit all the cats in the cat room. Who knew that so many cats could get along in the same space!

This is the best pet supply store. They're so helpful and friendly and have a wide range of products -- including all the pet food brands my vet recommended. If you don't know exactly what you're looking for, they're happy to help. Highly recommend.

Bugs in your dog treats is not normal.Recently purchased bulk treats from Chow Down and gave it to my dogs. Within minutes, bugs came out of the bone and went everywhere. I was back at the store within 15 minutes, showed it to them and was told it was “normal”. Nobody should be selling this low quality of food. Wish I could post the video I recorded of all the bugs on here.

We do enjoy shopping here. The staff are friendly and know our dogs by name. The selection is decient for how small the store is. We appreciate when there is an issue that the staff is willing to make it right. We love that so much of the treats are made in colorado.

Dropped by to kill time while my dog was in recovery from neck surgery (he's doing well) Chow Down had the perfect size and color harness since he can not wear his collar. Staff was helpful and very nice! Thank you, we will be back soon!

Great selection of treats, food, and pet supplies for cats and dogs especially, but even other kinds of animals can get goodies here. CBD pet treats are great, and the EAPL cat adoption center is in the back! Touch the kitties! And support a great location business.

They seem to carry more cat food than other specialty pet stores. However, when they stamp a price on a package, that should be set in stone. But no, they charge 10% more and call it a price increase! This has been going on for 3 weeks.
