If they had a metric nut that he needed for the transmission. I can't remember their names but got speedy service to their hardware guy to find out they do sell metric nuts in different threads and sizes. Thanks folks at Big R!

It’s nice to have this store in Evergreen. The staff is great. The only issue I have is with their power tool return policy. I avoid buying power tools from Big R

Almost everything... if it was in stock. I know that the pandemic was a challenging time for businesses to keep products in stock. For a long time I gave them that excuse. It is now 3 years later, though, and we as a country have moved past the supply chain issues. Most companies are now dealing with overstock issues, but Big R still seems to struggle to keep products in stock for some reason. Their employees are frustrated, their customers are frustrated, and they would make thousands of dollars a year additional just off of me if they kept products in the store.I live 6 minutes away, and Big R is always my first stop when I need most things, other than groceries, but 60% of the time, I leave empty handed. This seems to me like serious mismanagement. Ask customers when they leave if they were able to find everything and take note of what you're missing out on. I guarantee it's no small amount.

Beautiful...it is like being in Colorado and not caliado. all you have to do is go 75 miles any direction except West on I-70 and you also find real people. everyone is helpful there is no selfcheck out. they do sell guns so stay away calirado. and if you want to fix your farm..? I don't know how they don't go out of business? there's no farms near there but there are real people in the store not just the employees.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Big R. I purchased a pretty expensive snowblower which broke after the first winter season. It was still under the warranty, so I brought it back requesting to have it fixed or a monetary refund. Big R told me that they don't do the refund nor replacement as they have a certified service center for the tools they sell. I agreed to have the machine sent over to the service center. Six months later (through the winter), the Husqvarna snowblower is still not fixed. Big R is blaming Husquarna for not delivering spare parts. I was pretty frustrated as I was unable to use the snowblower this winter. People at the service center were rude enough to say that that it is not their problem and that if I don't want to keep waiting they can ship it back to me and I can deal with it on my own. My advice is not to purchase any expensive tools or machinery at Big R. I was hoping to support smaller retailers but now I understand why Home Depot or Amazon is better at this. Just a sincere appreciation of the customer and great customer or replacement service.One positive thing: Lee the store manager was always helpful and gave me a store gift card as that was something from his initiative to sympathize with me.

I love Big R! They have such a great selection. We go there for everything from dog food, toys and clothing for my daughter, candy, snacks, guns, Yeti cups, and supplies to keep up with our yard. Great resource here in Evergreen!

I’ve been driving by this place for years and never bothered to check it out. I thought it was just a weird farmer store, but I was WRONG. I love Big R! I’m kicking myself for missing out on all the awesomeness. They have EVERYTHING. Where else can you buy all the things you never knew you needed?!PS also worth noting- Good customer service is hard to find these days (Especially, when you have a habit of always being the last customer at places!) and every staff person I’ve encountered here has always been super nice and I always appreciate that.

If I could give a 0 I would. We purchased a very expensive large stock tank from here to use as a pond and when we got it home it leaked in four different places. We paid $140 for water to have it filled up. I called the manager of this store and he just said there was nothing he could do for me and that I had to work with the manufacturer. We did not want to return it as the other one they had was pretty beat up and we were worried we would have the same issue if not worse. So we drained it, resealed it, and after 4 weeks of trying to work with manufacturer we are still out $140 for the cost of the wasted water. We offered to get a store credit, another tank worth $140 from the manufacturer or a check. Nothing. I had photos, videos, and receipts. This is a perfect example of poor customer service that is rampant in our country. I will be giving my business to Tractor Supply Company or Murdoch's from now on. I will also be posting a horrible review for the tank manufacturer Hutchinson as well.

manager sold a lemon chainsaw with a broken choke and a messed up carb tuning, they wont make it right in any way. dont buy any powertools from here cus if it doesnt work, they wont make it right. I only come here for clothes now, and if they want a better review, they might reconsider and make this tool right for me.. I'm gonna let the chainsaw company make it right for me on their customer support line, and im gonna let them know where this chainsaw come from.

Need to report on an incredible experience I had yesterday at Big R - Evergreen, CO yesterday. I have a 6 month old Cub Cadet snow blower that I was trying to get warranty repair work done on. Reverse gear had been malfunctioning ever since I bought it last November at the local HOME DEPOT here. The challenge was finding a Cub Cadet Service Center that wasn't too far from my house. The local Home Depot where I bought the machine wasn't, and I found that I would have to take it to a Home Depot in Denver which would in turn send it to a Service Center which they operated in Arizona. Not thrilled with this option, I searched the Cub Cadet website and found that the Big R store here in Evergreen (which is only a mile from my house) came up as a Cub Cadet Service Center, so I gave them a call. I ended up speaking to the General Manager of the store, Lee Brock, who was extremely helpful! He explained to me that this store wasn't a service center, but that Big R did operate a service center in Pueblo, CO. He suggested that I bring the machine in (even though I didn't buy it there), and that he would look at it to see there was possibly a quick fix. He said that in his experience these machines are often assembled with not enough tension on the clutch cable, and that he could try making an adjustment to the cable tension to see if it solved the problem. If it didn't they could ship it to the Pueblo Service Center for the warranty work. So I took it in (no small feat since I don't own a truck and had to borrow a trailer). True to his word Lee Brock looked at it, went in and got some wrenches, and spent about 15 minutes adjusting the clutch cable tension. We started the machine and let it run, testing the transmission in forward and reverse gear - and guess what? It worked, problem solved!! And Lee refused to charge me for his time. I was flabbergasted that he went the extra mile to fix a problem on a machine I didn't even buy at his store! THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE!! You can bet that our Big R here in Evergreen will see me much more often for my home maintenance and repair needs. Thanks again Lee!

Some of the worst service I have ever had... Almost the worst. Sat around for 30 minutes. Tried flagging down an employee which they had 4 of standing around the area.I couldn't get a one to assist with wood pellets or purchasing a gun safe. I will take my business elsewhere then if they don't need my money. I even approached the customer service counter. Waved and said hello and the older guy acted like I didn't even exist... Wow.

Very friendly staff...and that's important! But expected. So what makes this feed store/ hardware store "so 5 star." A friendly staff that actually has knowledge about the store! Wow! But be prepared to pay top dollar for that! Or maybe the free coffee and popcorn will help.😀

We go to Big R about once a week and the entire staff is SO friendly. Propane exchange prices are awesome too! They are always so sweet to our dog, offerring treats.

Great store for horse supplies and a huge selection of boots. However if you're smaller than a size x-large shirt, good luck finding anything that will fit. They rarely stock XS-L it seems.

I have been to the Big R about 5 times since they opened. Each time they did not have what I needed, even though it seemed like the kind of thing they would sell. I guess I just don't understand what market they are trying to serve. At this point I have given up on Big R, it is easier to go to other stores with more certain selection of products.BTW -- the employees are very friendly here.

2nd time I have had horrible customer SERVICE from this store. They treat customers like they don't need there business. I tried to order a product and was told multiple times they could order and was on it. After three weeks no phone calls and no product. I asked again and was told it never got ordered. So I asked to speak to the Manager. Was told the same it never got ordered and he was sorry. My response to him was you must not care about me, my money or my animals. The manger left me feeling that day no one cared about my stuff. So I had to go somewhere else to get the product I needed for my animals. After that I decided to stop shopping there for almost 6 months. I like to keep my money local so decided to give them another chance maybe that was just a weird random drop the ball situation. So I took my older used Stihl weed eater in for service. Gentleman at the front said they would get on it ASAP. Had me go back and fill out a service tag with what was needed. After 2 1/2 weeks and me calling the store 4 times to get little information cause no one ever called me. I still had no ideal the cost or if they where even actually working on it. Had to call in the 5th time to finally get the Manager. I explained I need my tool that's why it was there. He responds by saying they cant get it to start. I said if you cant fix by tomorrow I need the job stopped so I can buy a new machine summer will be over at your pace. Amazingly the next day LEE the Manager called back and advised your machine is ready. I showed up to pick it up today they said it runs great you just have to hold it straight or it will leak gas. I said why would you not have ordered the o rings after having it that long. All he kept saying is they can order stuff if I wanted it. I then looked down and said you never even replaced the cutting head. Lee said this is the first mention he heard of the cutting head. I looked down and said what the hell is on the service tag item #1. He bent down looked at the card attached to the handle and said yep replace cutting head. I then said this is what I am talking about horrible customer service, as I grabbed my machine, the bill and headed to the door to pay. Again no one seemed to care about my situation or there screw up. I left the store filled a complaint with Stihl and said just wanted to let you know you are probably going to lose a long time customer because of how I was treated at the Big R Evergreen service center. Stihl cared about me as a customer and is trying to fix the situation! While writing this Stihl called back and advised the do not want me buying another product and would give me a brand new weed eater at no charge if I would take the old one back to Big R. That's a company that cares about there products and me as a customer I cant say the same about Big R.UPDATE 7-25-18 HORRIBLE SERVICESent another email to the address listed in the response back from Big R Evergreen asking for more info and contact information. Still never heard anything from them but certainly have from Stihl. This just screams Big R Evergreen does not care about the local people shopping here. Or maybe they just don't care about my bizzzzzzzzzzzzz…. I told Stihl if I had to go back to the Evergreen Big R store to get my free $400-$500 weed eater. I think I would just pass on it. If I could go to another location I would be there now. I made sure Stihl knew I was gonna be there customer and appreciated all they stepped up with to keep me happy and using the Stihl brand. This is not something I can say about the Evergreen Big R. Thought it was just the Manager that did not care maybe they owners don't either!

Never have I tried so hard to purchase a $1000 dollar plus roofing materials from anyone. They won't answer my phone number. My wife's local number. Totally turned off. Ake things right or I'm hoing public with the total lack of respect for a customer. Haven't even had a chance to review your customer service because of the obvious. Figure it out

I was totally disappointed in how I was treated as a local . 😕 I needed straw for my animals cages. chickens dogs etc.got cold last week . I was told there is no more. I told the clerk I ll take whatever is available. She charged me extra for grass hay 12.99 bale ..I said ok . 👍 upon picking up my bales there where plenty of straw and the clerk told me the manager asked her not to sell it because it was for events for Halloween .already purchased 😒🤔😪not for animals. Very sad 😔 and disappointed. So I still bought the grass . I needed it ... 🙌.

Great, friendly service. Only wish they had a discount for veterans (that pushes me to a competitor at times.) Their selection is not quite as good as I'd like, but they are a smaller location in a small market.

This is my new "favorite" store. The staff is (beyond) knowledgeable, very friendly and polite, a trait that is lacking in most retail establishments. Over the top variety and selections, reasonable prices and excellent customer service. What more can a person ask for!

I use to give this place 5 stars but there service lately has been horrible. They either need to change there signage or go back to the old "policy" on clearance. Lee was extremely rude and didn't even honor his own word. On top of all of this the cashier ran back to another co worker to speak badly about me when I came in later that day.
