We had a lovely time here today and the owner was so kind and friendly. I picked up a cute bracelet made of Connemara marble, the national gemstone of Ireland for my daughter. It is beautiful. We enjoyed talking all things Ireland with you today. Thank you for your warm hospitality. Can't wait to eat at the pub too! Best wishes!

Great shop nestled up against the mountain and right next to free parking. Great celtic gifts, accessories, and everyday items from multiple countries. If you're looking for something Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Celtic, Norse, etc. Start here.

Beautiful store with the exposed rock walls. Found a cute Irish marble bracelet for our daughter. The owner was extremely nice and helpful.

If I could give this shop less than one star I would. Our family visited their store last October and made over $400 in purchases. Then on June 16 (almost a month ago), I purchased coffee from them online. There wasn't anything unusual about the transaction, except that when I decided to go back online to buy one more coffee, I noticed that the same coffee was now "out of stock." It was literally seconds since my original purchase, so I called their store to confirm my purchase. I was told in a return voicemail that indeed my order had gone through and they would ship the following morning. It's been nearly a month. The troublesome thing is that after numerous times of trying to contact them to check status, they have ignored me. I've called, texted, emailed with no reply at all. They debited my visa account on the day of purchase, so they have my money. I have been civil and patient. But clearly, they can't be bothered with me. I paid $10 in shipping fees with my order. I asked them if I could at least have a tracking number (that would prove it was mailed) and that I'd be glad to take up the issue with USPS. No reply. I think they feel it's just too small amount of money (just under $30) to bother with and they think I'll just go away. The fact is that I would have purchased this coffee online on a future regular basis. My family (25+ people) will be going to Estes Park later this month. We WON'T be visiting this uppity shop, however. I would caution others to be careful when they make purchases from them online. Even though they list a phone number and email address, there is absolutely no customer support at all. Bottom line: I intend to keep trying to get my money back. It's not good business practice to have taken my payment but not send the merchandise, or even attempt to contact me with an explanation, or proof that they mailed it. Buyers beware: Highland Bard is HIGH priced and overrated!

Very friendly staff and great wares. I appreciated the staff’s explanation behind every item. The prices may seem high but a lot of the items are imported which makes sense for the price, try looking at Amazon for some of the comparisons they’re not always cheaper or same quality in materials. Overall very satisfied and will be back next time I visit Estes.

The Highland Bard is a wonderful place to visit when you are in Estes Park. They have everything from all kinds of Celtic treasures, to really cool hats and even roast and sell by-far the best coffee I have ever had. I highly recommend the Leaping Stag Medium Roast Coffee!! The owners are super friendly and always a pleasure to talk to.

What a great store! My wife and I visited and will be back every time we visit the Rockies now. Make sure you go upstairs and grab some of their coffee beans as well. We got Butterbeer, which is made by the owners and they had it ground for us on the premise! I'm getting some legit Irish made pj's next time.

They don't have anything really in stock except trinkets. They only make custom tartans, and I couldn't even ask prices because they kicked me out for having ice cream on me while I was trying to ask a question.

Bought two beautiful pieces! Amazing hand crafted work! I David and his wife spent considerable time talking with us and explaining the meaning of each of the items that we had selected. It’s wonderful to see people who are so passionate about what they do. We will definitely be back!

The store has high quality and nice things. I won't take that from them. What I will warn people is they do not accept returns. There is no signage of any sort anything or on their receipts about this, and coming from a retail background it should be told and written.I would not recommend this location.

I love the Celtic and pagan vibe of this beautiful store. Bought two beautiful prints last month. Can't wait to go back during my next visit to Estes Park.

Lovely little celtic shop at the end of Elkhorn. The shop is built right into the side of the hill and the exposed rock gives the shop an incredibly ancient feel.
