They have a surprisingly good selection and all of the staff is really helpful/friendly.While we usually try to support the local park supply business, Ace has more expanded hours of operation and a better selection of plumbing items as far as I can tell. Glad we have both in Estes!

Really impressed with their customer service! ACE is a cut above all the other big box home improvement/hardware stores but this location stands out from the crowd. Team member Tom treated us like family today during our purchase of a garden cart and even gave us a discount. Exceptional in every regard.

Have been to the other hardware stores in town, and was really glad I stopped here. Fantastic FULL inventory and really decent selection. Some interesting things I didn't expect to find there like front door mats, kitchen supplies and a few clocks. Tons of tools, snow and garden stuffs, and helpful people working.

Very helpful and friendly employees who knew exactly where to direct me to find needed items. They were also quick to offer mixing a primer and handed me a paint can opening tool and a stir stick before I even thought about needing them!

Small town Estes Park, CO, population 6,000 +/-, grows to 60K in Summer, has 3 or more hardware stores. This is the best organized and when you need something, they are the most likely to have it. I’m retired & I like these folk. Friendly, too!

The place was well stocked and clean and the cashier friendly and accurate. However, despite making above a six figure income, I was tailed throughout the store as if I were going to steal the rake I bought for less than $20. That type of ignorance gets old fast.

This is a great hardware store with a surprisingly large inventory, a really helpful and nice staff, and good competitive prices. It's the best place in Estes not only for a general hardware, tools, and paint supplies, but also household items such as school supplies and general things like that. They have a pretty good automotive supply section as well.

Eh. It's okay. Staff are not as helpful or friendly as I have seen at other Ace's. Had a guy give up helping me find a plumbing pipe solution, saying he couldn't do it with parts available in the store and that I should try somewhere else. Found the parts and a way to do it right there by myself in about 5 minutes... Kinda goofy, but whatever.

The staff and manager of Ace Hardware are unbelievably friendly and helpful, particularly compared to their competitor, True Value. They care about their customers, learn their names, smile, and make you feel like part of their community. If you need to return an item, there is no hassle. They are a wonderful addition to the commercial life of Estes Park.

We have lived in Estes Park for several years and during that time i have renovated 2 properties as well as run an HOA of 60 year old properties. We are always doing interior and exterior repairs and nearly every weekend down at Ace. They almost always have what you need (unless it is a custom part), and if they don't, the staff are great at helping you create a viable alternative solution. They care about their customers, spend time with them, and know where everything is in the store! Awesome! And they also have great senses of humor and are just very pleasant to deal with. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Theyve got our business! Keep up the good work folks!!

Recently to Estes on vacation from Iowa. Had piece of chain from antique tractor that needed replacing. So I took it along. Stopped in here by chance and took chain in. They had what I needed. Got home and put it on and it worked. Very knowledgeable and courteous service. Thanks for your help.

Wow! Where to begin? We are from out of state and realized our truck key was very weak and had a slight crack in it. We ran over to Ace to get a key made until we could get back home and to the dealer. KC was originally on the job, had me run out to the truck to check several times to see if the key he had made worked. After several attempts, he called in the Manager, Tom. He too tried and tried. The key worked in the door, but not in the ignition, we needed a key with a chip. KC came out with some graphite powder lubricant, and it worked! These 2 men worked diligently to help us get back on the road and were incredibly helpful! THANK YOU ACE and especially to KC AND TOM for going out of their way!
