The only place I’ll go anymore. Huge variety of plants, always stocked with *healthy* fish. The tanks are all well maintained. The place is *always* clean and organized.But none of that would matter, or be possible without the roster of awesome staff. Everyone I’ve dealt with has been super friendly and knowledgeable about the plants and animals they’re selling (some that can’t be said for a lot of other local shops)If I can’t find something, they can. If it’s not in stock, they’ll make sure you know the next time it will be. I’ve even had the pleasure of meeting the store manager (sadly I didn’t catch her name) but her attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and willingness to go above and beyond for the customer (even so close to closing time) deserves to be recognized.I can’t say enough good about this place, or the guys and girls here who’ve helped me keep my many betta tanks happy and healthy!Stay awesome, and thanks as always!-ZachPS- I hope the cart works well for you! Very cool setup. It's not weird, dark, and dank like most fish stores. They have a wide variety of fresh and salt water fish and plants. They make good choices for the aquariums and accessories they keep in stock and are on par with Amazon pricing.

Stopped in today and thought this was going to be another inexperienced and salesy place but not at all! Me and my wife are getting into salt water tanks and our first is going to be a 200 gallon tank. We were nervous and trying to find a good place to get equipment and fish from and we finally found the best place. I was not pressured at all on sales if anything the gentleman I talked to told me start small and work your way through it. Also super knowledgeable! I was super pleased with the customer service, the selection and the overall experience. My daughter had a great time to! Thank you guys for being such a great team and great business. It's hard to find fish stores like this in the first place my advice is that it's worth the drive, and definitely worth the investment from your store!

This store has SOOOOO much potential. However my experience here has been really hit or miss. One time I can’t get anyone to help me next they are super helpful. There coral is dirty and very sparse. If your looking for equipment they have a massive selection however their prices a not the cheapest. If your looking for saltwater fish your best looking else where. As I said earlier so much potential but all their tanks are empty.

The new store, I've been here four times. Returned fish, purchased new fish, and got new plants and decor from them. They take great care of their fish. I have been surprised by how amazing their customer service is. Overall I would recommend people buying fish from here over other pet stores because the care for animals is fantastic. MC Aquatics has a huge variety of different aquarium stuff including plants, saltwater fish, coral, freshwater fish, decor, Co2, and all different kinds of food for pets including frozen bloodworms, brine shrimp and flakes, and pellets. Most of the Aquariums and fish are bred and designed by the store; which makes this place much more unique and different than generic pet stores. Would highly recommend to any aquarist or pet owner for both beginner, intermediate, and experienced levels to try the store out! I have been to many different fish stores and can say that this is one of my favorites in Colorado.

The employees were very helpful. Unfortunately I got 3 glass catfish from them who did not look very healthy once getting home. They died within 3 days and infected my other, once healthy fish, with ich. I am now currently treating my tank hoping my other fish, who have been healthy for over 2 years, do not die. They told me that quarantine was not necessary because of the quality of their fish. Please just be warry and always quarantine new fish...

We are in love with this fish store!! Every time we walk in, we’re met with kind and friendly staff. The quality of their fish is far better than a pet store. They care about the fish and work hard to take care of the tanks. We had our water tested, no upselling, and just honest help!

Amazing!!! I have never been to an aquatics shop that is so well taken care of. There clearly was a lot of money, love and care put into this buisness. Staff went above and beyond and all of the fish were so happy and healthy. Will 100% be coming back in the future!!!!!

This place has fallen far from where they were almost a year ago. The potential for this place is enormous and they are just failing miserably. The saltwater section is in absolute shambles. Livestock is lacking and the coral section is about 1/4 full and looks terrible. A lot of dead and dying coral. The staff has turned over a lot and the people there now, while nice and friendly just don't seem to know a whole lot about fish and coral. Coral supplies have fallen off too. Such a shame. This could be the #1 shop. Hopefully they get it together

My new favorite store! Every tank was clean. The store manager spent a lot of time with us explaining everything. She told me the same things that I have read and that our son, who is a marine biologist said. They showed us all of their set ups in the back room, so we could see what we need to do. On top of that, when we ask if they deliver, even though they do not, the owners agreed to deliver our very large tank. We live out in the middle of no where. Customer service at it's finest.

This is the absolute best and most impressive fish store I have ever had the blessing of walking in to, if you are looking for quality customer service and quality products and well taken care of fish, this is the place to go. This place is better than the Denver aquarium.

I don't recommend doing business with MC Aqautics. Over priced items. Rough inventory. This business shouldn't send offers on a coral on eBay if they plan to sell them in store right after. I am grateful that I received a refund from them. I would recommend Cornbread Corals on eBay instead of MC Aqautics.Thanks,

I like this business. The items I purchase always seem of high quality and value for affordable pricing. You can tell someone spent a lot of money to try to become a hobby staple shop in a new developing area and I respect people putting in for the long haul. The shop is run by a younger crowd most times and sometimes their attitude seems hit or miss in customer service and I've seen salinity drop and fish struggling on more than one occasion. But you know what we all understand how that can happen and there's learning curves at every avenue. Every time I come in though, the shop has grown and there is something more to look at and the experience of the employees is always increasing as well. I can see the growth and development in the very short time in a hard economy. I am highly rooting for MC aquatics success and I drive well out of my way to visit them!

I Used to like this store but it has lost its charm. Came in for the labor day sale and it seems like they are trying to sell everything off to close the store. The employees I trusted and really enjoyed have all left and have been replaced with inappropriately dressed teenagers with almost no knowledge about the hobby. The store has always been overpriced but I didn’t mind considering the atmosphere, extensive knowledge and passion from the staff but now I see no reason to come here. The one thing they have going for them is large size cichlids but I have zero interest in that because I keep planted tanks which they are also now failing at.I hope this place returns to its former glory but wow what a disappointment in less than a year. The only reason I’ll come back is to get some of those sweet going out of business deals.

This place was great when they opened, but today it's in sore need of maintenance. Algae growth on all the plants and 3/4 of the bettas looked sick.

Just left the store and had a fabulous experience with store employee Hailey! I was interested in learning about live plants and shrimp and she educated me all about it, answered all my silly questions, and had tons of patience. I spent a small fortune that I certainly wasn’t planning spending. She’s an excellent employee…give that girl a raise!!!

I've been looking for a good fish store in Denver for a while now, and I've finally found it!!! Fish are some of the happiest and healthiest I've seen in any fish store. Large selection with specialized fish, many of which I haven't seen anywhere else. The place was SO CLEAN, which is (unfortunately) not the norm in fish stores. The staff was the best part of it though; the team member who helped us (Scott) was the best employee I've met in ANY store (not just fish stores). He gave me space when I was just browsing, and when I got interested in a fish he'd swoop in and tell me all about it. I took kind of a while to decide what to get, and he was incredibly patient with me during the whole process. This is by far the best aquarium store in Denver, and it's now the only place I'll go when buying fish or plants.

Just in the store. Looking at fish for 15 minutes and no one asked if they could help me. Not busy at all. One of the Cloan Loach was clearly infected with ich.

Best place in town for pretty much moat aquarium supplies you could need. Finally got coral going and already have a great selection with great prices and are only half full on their coral flats. Lacking a bit in the marine fish dept. But they do get in some of the less seen fish. Freshwater section is fully stocked. Employees are friendly and very helpful. Nice to have a big shop on the south side of town.

Great experience here at MC Aquatics. Bought our son a fish tank for his birthday. We went in knowing a little about fish tanks, but no where near enough. They were patient and very knowledgeable. We will be go back once our cycle is complete to get some fish. Thank you

Great local fish store. Customer service was great, definitely seemed like they knew what they were talking about. If your in the area, definitely worth checking out! Even though they are a new store, there is a great selection of plants, water additives, parts, fish and tanks. They are in the process of setting up the salt section, the tanks they have for it look like they will be super cool when they get all set up.10/10 would recommend. Will be back in the future. They also have a loyalty program.

Came in to simply get some water, and waited for 20 minutes while the store wasn’t even busy, got tired of waiting and asked the teenager employees for help. I think the store is overpriced, but it was fine with me because they had knowledgeable staff. Now I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Seems like the store has potential but they need to work on customer service.

The first visit to this store happened to be during a weekend where they had great sales going on, and they sold a lot of their cichlid and peacock stock. But I still managed to find and purchase 6 cichlids. This will be one of my go-to fish stores for cichlids, and I look forward to seeing how they replenish their stock on a regular basis.

This is a new store and looks to have great potential. Lots of Africans and soon to be salt, but the general freshwater inventory I wish was larger. The bettas were absolutely beautiful. Plenty of supplies. Oddly we were there for 30 minutes and not one person asked if I needed anything. It's certainly worth a visit.
