The pool of the springs are closed but the spring is still flowing and still supply the area with water through pipes or also sold bottled and advertised as “dorado spring water” around the state and carried by this huge trucks. Lots of construction going on in the area, come prepared to wait a few mins

This place is great! A nice dip in a CLEAN pool after a long hike! The staff was friendly. The locker rooms couls use a little updating, but that 90s summer camp feel makes everything just that much more Colorado. There was a snack bar but I didn't get anything. Stopped in boulder for lunch

My family loves going to Eldorado Springs pool we went to Eldorado Canyon State Park for the morning and early afternoon and had a great time hiking, the pool was the perfect end to the day. The pool is a great place to cool off all of the water wasn't too cold it was a nice place to really just relax at the end of the day. The scenery was great, having the big cliffs in the backdrop from the pool deck was really cool. They still have a diving board which is fantastic to me because most pools I go to do not have diving boards anymore. There's not really anything super special about the pool besides his location. But it also has an old-school water slide that was quite fun even for the adults.

Amazing! its like a refreshing step back into time. Fresh water pool with two elevated sunbathing areas. The old vintage signs and the backdrop of the canyon make this visit well worth the quick drive from Denver. Highly recommend!

This is one of the classic places in Boulder County. The pool is not heated but is comfortable on hot days. There's a nice little water slide and a concession stand. There are a few picnic tables if you get here early. It's funky cool.

The water wasn't consistently heated. Maybe the heater needs maintenance, or the thermostat needs to be adjusted. After about an hour we could finally feel warm water coming into the pool. The slide was very fun and staff was friendly.

This entire area is SOooo unique. The town itself is like stepping onto a movie set. Parts of the town streets are still dirt like the old west. This state road I70 dead ends here at Eldorado Springs and leads almost to Denver. Great way to avoid heavy traffic and tolls on 36 and 93. Well worth going to South Boulder and picking up 170 to Westminster near Denver. It's saved me hours in traffic!

Beautifully rustic natural surroundings! A small place leading to grand vistas. Rather a short trip or a long journey this park let's you take a big bite out of the Rockies. If going, please try the natural spring water. Some of the best waters you'll ever have.

Nice rustic pool settting in the back of the mountains. The small slide and diving board gives extra added fun! Being in this beautiful setting gives cool breezes during the day! This pool is outdated and no bells and whistles but was a nice place to relax. The parking is not great either.

I go there most of time to eat. When I order my meal, there is always one missing my order so then I have to go back and get it.

Super beautiful water and kind people. Spent hours practicing my dives from the diving board. A fun steep waterslide is also a fun activity. The water is cool and refreshing. If you're chilled you can always warm up at one of the sunbathing sections.

The pool water was very cold. Definitely not maintained at 80 degrees. The lifeguard said when the days were warm, they kept it lower like at 74 degrees but it wasn't even 74 degrees. They should change what their website says, especially since they don't offer any refunds. I don't mind the dirt parking lot, the condition of the buildings..... like the other reviewers....that is charming to me. We didn't even stay 20 minutes because the water was so cold.

The most refreshing (read, coldest) and bygone swimming pool and dining decks I can think of. The views are excellent and the vibes are distinctly old Colorado. The infamous slide is a must ride and a monument to pre-liability obsessed operations. Cannot wait for it to open again!

What a rad place to hang out! If you're familiar with the area, it's secluded but a popular spot to hike and mountain climb. Pool is usually fairly busy, but there is a ton of room to spread out. Sunbath up on the top areas, or hang out in the shade underneath. It's only $11 to get in and free babies. There isn't much around so bring your drinks and food, have a picnic on the river and hangout for the day.

Most unique & largest pool in all of Boulder county! Nestled in Eldorado Canyon with amazing views and filled with the local spring water! They play good music, have a nicely stocked snack bar, and lifeguards. They have a big, straight slide, a fun diving board where you can do flips & cannonballs, and they allow all types of floats. Traffic can get a bit crazy on weekends. If you like crowds, go on the weekend. If not, try going during the week early in the morning or after 3.

We frequent the area to fill our water bottles with the best natural spring water around. The drive is lovely and there are other things to do when there. Come to swim in the pool. Enter Eldorado state park and enjoy a hike pr rock climbing or a bike ride. There are many other surrounding trails to walk with or without your furry friend.

I go to El Dorado Springs to purchase my water. Saves me 75% by driving there and bottling my own water. Eldorado water always tastes clean and I've been going there about 20 years. I've had only one experience with a swimming pool there and it was a great day. The park entrance is basically across the road from where the water machine is located and the water machine is located next to the swimming pool. Great place to visit whether you're swimming, enjoying the park or getting your water.

Currently under construction. Its really unique to Colorado with an amazing history. You can refil 5 gallon jugs for $2.50.There is a credit card limit on 5 purchases so bring cash, $5 bills or less if you have more than five jugs to fill. If you go be prepared to drive slow. The canyon residents are sensitive to heavy traffic.

Best swimming pool around! Set in the beautiful town of Eldorado Springs at the entrance to Eldorado Canyon state park. Clear refreshing natural spring water to rejuivinate the whole body. Classic "old school" water slide is a fun addition as well as the diving board. Picnic areas next to creek offer a peaceful retreat with trees above to provide shade on those hot summer days. If you prefer full sun you'll love the elevated areas to soak up as much sun as you may like while your enjoying the spectacular view of the resort and the beautiful mountains surrounding this long time Colorado favorite !

I love it! I love it! I love it!Been seeing ads of this pool in the paper for years and I'm elated that I finally made it! It was a sunny Monday afternoon and I was tickled that this Rocky Mountain oasis was no mirage. We called ahead to inquire about parking (somehow I'd missed the signs on previous trips driving through the town) and I am so glad that we did. We located two very small lots with rather intimidating "tow" warning signs. I still haven't quite figured out how they know/confirm if the cars parked there are indeed pool patrons but Vicero (my car) remained safe and sound over the several hours I was lounging in and around the pool. After passing over the wooden footbridge and through the arching gate we encountered a friendly young gal at the entry desk. She was very sweet and personable. We learned about the all important hand stamping (let's them know you've paid/entered previously if you run out to the car or for a bite to eat) and the free Eldorado pool postcard was a smash hit with me and my beau. The patrons varied in ages and walks of life. The children were well behaved and there were many couples enjoying the refreshing waters. I was particularly excited to see a patron lounging upon a pepperoni pizza floatation device (note to self: must hunt down donut shaped floaty I saw in an ad).The slide was tall and steep. I couldn't help but squeal when I finally let go of the sides of the slide. That thing really launched me! I rather enjoyed the diving board, it has a bit more spring than you'd expect. The water was beautiful and crisp. It was so refreshing to dip in non salt or chlorine treated water. There's a variety of seating from grass/picnic table, rooftop astroturf, poolside picnic table or chairs. Many folks opted to put down their beach towels directly on the cement. My beau was kind enough to track down a chair and carry it up stairs for me.Overall this was a wonderful relaxing day. I can't wait to return, particularly with my out of state guests.

This place is straight out of the 70s, with a laid back attitude and accommodation for large groups. We take our group of parkour athletes there for after summer camp activities. Only good words to say about this pool and all the staff involved with its workings. Possibly the only pool in Boulder County that you can still do flips off a diving board. They have a giant slide for kids and big kids at heart. Plenty of picnic tables in the shade so you can enjoy a delicious lunch after you take a dip in the pool. The pool isn't heated. Move enough to keep your body heat up!

Fun and Beautiful Resort. Swimming in clear and cool artesian spring water was refreshing. Add the canyon views, snack bar and the sounds of Boulder Creek and the experience is enhanced.

Great place to cool off in the summer! El Dorado Springs Pool isn't your typical modern resort pool, but it's a neat place with a lot of history and character.

Our family have gone to Eldorado Springs for 4th of July since the latw 60's. On the 4th they have some nice 60 70s music and throw beach balls the wall into the pool for the everyone to enjoy! I still go there with my family and I'm 60 and have the best time always, it's a great and they're open all summer. Bring your food, coolers and chairs relax and enjoy. Ambiance of Eldorado Springs pool is nostalgic and built well as they built everything back in the day. And my no means is it run down. ENJOY

As a previous Health Department Inspector I would not touch this water. It is maintained by a company known for selling drinking water that has dirt floating in it. The Company has horrible water sanitation practices. As someone who inspected commercial pools for a living I would recommend ppl stay far away from this place.

Nice place to jump in after a hike in the park. However, $10 dollars to enter the pool seemed a little steep at first, but ended up being worth it. I will be returning here again.

This is an awesome location and very nice to have on a hot day, has a slide and a diving board too. They allow carry in food and drinks as long as it's not alcohol and glass
