I’ve been taking my labradoodle to the groom room for 2 years now and they always take such good care of her!Autumn was one of her favorite groomers and she is now the owner which is amazing. She’s added some great conveniences like text notifications that are really helpful. She also tries to book regulars together so the dogs get to know each other and they are more comfortable.My dog hates to be bathed or groomed and she knows when she and I are leaving the house without my partner, that’s likely where she’s headed. Although she’s always nervous to be groomed, she is all smiles and wags when she sees Autumn and her dog friends. My dog’s behavior, along with Autumn’s kindness lets me know she’s well cared for.They had to raise prices a bit due to inflation, but still very affordable especially for a poodle breed. The grooming business is tough and not one that people go into to get rich. It is well worth the cost for the health, comfort, and good care of my dog.Bookings are always busy, so be sure to schedule well in advance.I’ve added some photos of cuts in various lengths as well as a “before” pic in the parking lot. If you see Charlie around, be sure to tell her how great she looks :)

They do a great job but booking is basically impossible. By the time my dog gets groomed, the next available appt is 2-3 months out so I guess you have to make appointments for the entire year at once? Idk. I wish it wasn’t this way bc our dog really likes them & they cut her nicely.

Wonderful experience! I highly recommend if you’re looking to pamper your pooch whether a full-time resident of Durango or just passing through like us. Amy is the absolute sweetest human being and was so welcoming when we booked. Autumn was our groomer and they did such an amazing job on our two fur babies. Our original appointment was rebooked due to frozen pipes (it was single digits overnight- yikes!), but Amy took the time to find an appointment for us before we had to take off on another adventure. Thank you Groom Room and all the Pet Haus family— we are so pleased with your services and all the recommendations over at the shop, too!

This place is amazing. Best place I’ve ever had my dogs groomed- and my cat! Super friendly and courteous services.I drive in from Aztec,NM and it’s so worth it. I don’t feel worried to leave my dogs(which I have other places) as they have a very specific area for the dogs while waiting to be groomed. Apparently they have a new groomer as I am new here, but she is nothing but professional and caring with my animals. They are my kids so it is super important to me that they are treated the absolute best. My cat is a lilac point and has cotton fur that is just unmanageable by myself. So embarrassing honestly as I have four cats and his fur just doesn’t stay mat free!-but relieved to know he was shaved correctly to where it doesn’t interfere with his whiskers that are important for his balance and overall well being. (Which I never really knew and I’ve had cats my whole life) but the groomer offered specific knowledge that helped me understand why he looks like an 80’s aerobic kitty. 🤓Made perfect sense and I am so grateful for her expertise. If you have been here in the past and had a bad experience I’d say try again as the “new” groomer is absolutely the best I’ve found in forever. She is younger, certified, and has the animals best interest at heart. Check out Pet Haus Groom Room for the absolute best animal experience. I brought my Saint Bernard in for trimming her nails and she has had an ongoing ear issue to where we have literally tried everything, including different vets who never got it cleared up, and are currently using K-9 but it doesn't work, either, although it's the best we've used over the years... and the next day Animal Control comes over to pay us a visit, stating we are not caring for our dogs. We feed our dogs better than most people eat and take them everywhere we go. People comment all the time about how well our dogs are treated, in fact, someone who works for us told Animal Control that he's never seen anyone treat their animals like we treat our dogs. Yes, she has an ongoing ear issue that we have been treating on a regular basis, but no vet has been able to do anything about it and we've tried everything. In fact, last time I was there (yesterday) because Molly had been injured by a groomer years ago, it scares her to death to have her nails trimmed... and the lady actually asked me to leave as though it would make her job "easier." We'll, I assure you it didn't according to my husband. We both thought she was rude and judgmental. Not my husband, nor any vet can handle her, I am the only one, but I still have to fight her to let me trim her nails, so I brought her here and they call Animal Control as though I don't care for my dogs? I told them we've used everything, and she got something to try but she did that the last time and whatever it was that she thought she was doing would help, it did not - proof is she offered to do it again... because it did not work the first time. We clean our dogs ears regularly with the K-9 Pets Ear Solutions because it works the best, but nothing we have tried or any vet has ever used has gotten rid of it completely. We won't be back. This was our second visit so I don't have to fight to trim her nails myself, but I guess I won't be back to Pet Haus after being treated like this.

They are very nice and polite, the first time I took my dogs here, the did a nice job. But not so much lately. Maybe they got a new groomer? Most recently the groomer scraped the feet of my 10 year old spaniel.Previously, she left my younger dog unfinished and after I called asking for a quick trim to finish him up, they never responded. So sad, as I really like the front desk women, who are so nice!

This is our go-to grooming place for our two dogs! They are very professional and friendly here, and even our shy pup loves them! Easy to call and make an appointment, and then the Pet Haus next door has a one-stop shop for all their post bath goodies! They also have nice, personal touches like giving all pups a Prt Haus Groom Room bandana that is very stylish!
