Having the soap and conditioner mixed with the water (car wash style) makes washing my 80# Boxer quick and easy. Able to wash head to toe using my own brush to scrub away the dirt in 5 minutes. Switch over to conditioner to rub into dry winter skin. Drawbacks: Only 1 Dog Wash station. Even on High Dryer needed towel dry. $10 covered 3 steps in 10 minutes.

I used to like this place. Today, the "shampoo" was so diluted that I couldn't discern a difference between the shampoo and the water. Was the tank empty? Was the mix altered to save money? The shampoo had no fragrance, color. or smell. My dog still smelled dirty once I finished a thorough washing.

We were on a road trip doing lots of hiking and wound up on a very dusty trail. $10 for 10 min, and I was able to rinse, shampoo, rinse, condition, rinse and had 2 min left to blow dry. They also provide an apron and one complimentary towel per person which was a huge help, as I'd forgotten to pack one of my own. Happily, my wee white dug is now white again.

I was told how great this dog wash was by several people, but when I finally tried it a month ago I was floored that the dispensers didn’t work and the water was freezing. The blower was a joke. I can barley get my dog to take a bath and the thing that works is warm water. Apparently this has been a problem for months and yet there was nothing to warn users about it. I wanted to like it but seems you don’t know what you are getting until you pay. Not going back until there is a fix. Note to owner: let customers know what they are getting so they don’t feel let down. People would understand if they knew owners were aware of the issues.

DIRTY PAWS DOG WASG ALMOST MURDERED MY DOG AND THEY DONT CARE!!!I visited dirty paws dog wash for the first time after seeing it for years, which I was already surprised by the $1 a minute price and the useless blow dryer. However, this dog wash has improper equipment that almost strangled or snapped my dogs neck. The chain provided allows you dog to jump out and be hung from the outside. Luckily my $250 smart dog collar with a 300 lb pull force snapped in half before my dogs neck did (I can only hope the collar was defective). Before I get comments about how I should be in front of my dog; with how the machine is designed you have to step away to change the setting from soap to rinse or to add more money. I spoke to the owner and he didn’t care and took no responsibility. He just said I shouldn’t have used the clip or should have been directly in front of my dog. He doesn’t even want to replace the $3 chain, as he mentioned this happened before!!!NEVER NEVER USE DIRTY PAWS. A BATH THERE IS NOT WORTH YOUR DOGS LIFE!!

Clean facility, easy to use, and got the job done after my dog got a bit muddier than I'd like at the dog park. The water was a bit cooler than some dogs might like. Use common sense and you won't have the issues the negative reviewers are reporting.

I have been using Dirty Paws for years for all my dogs, big and small. Very convenient and so much easier than using my own tub and making a mess of my own bathroom!

Have been using this place since it opened and it WAS the best place in Durango for a dog wash. Last 3 trips have not had hot water, shampoo, no racks for coats, hats or other pocket items anymore. Basically paying $1 per minute for a steel tub and water. When the owner was contacted I was informed they have known about the shampoo issue for a while and are waiting on parts.They are well aware that their equipment is malfunctioning and instead of letting the paying customer know they continue to sell a faulty product. I will never return to a place that knowingly screws their customers.Fix your equipment or close the doors.

10/10 would come back here. Took the dog to the dog park, got muddy and needed a quick wash before heading back on the road. $10 got the job done and there were towels there! (We did have our own per the website)

This self-serve dog wash has always been clean, 100% operable, and I've recommended it several times. There have always been clean towels to use but I suggest you take your own just in case. The River Trail is right across the parking lot so if you want to show off your clean baby it's super convenient. 5 stars for sure.

I was walking up with my dog to give her a bath and my dog cut her foot in the parking lot just a few feet from the dogwash. I asked the lady working if they might have a first-aid kit or something, and then she started yelling at me saying that I shouldn't have a dog if I can't take care of her. I was shocked! My dog has rattlesnake vaccinations, all her shots, she is loved and very well taken care of. We got in the car (where I had a first-aid kit) cleaned up my dog and never returned

The credit card mechanism wasn't working well, it did finally accept ours so we got both our big dogs shampooed. I did bring my own however.

What a cute place!!! We travel full time with our English springer spaniel. So hard to giver her a bath. Place was clean and offered towels. Very happy.

Its a good place when the water is hot and there is shampoo and conditioner. More often than not the water is cold and everything is empty
