Would never recommend the bakery. I asked for bright tie dye pattern with white lettering. Nothing matches, it looks absolutely horrible; especially for how much I paid for it. The process was a mess from start to finish with employees who had no idea what was going on. I wouldn’t trust them with any other cake.

Every single day I work in town, I go to the South City Market for lunch and get a set of spring rolls from the sushi counter. Each time, I pick them up, smile at the crew and thank them, and make my way out. As I walked up to the counter today, I noticed they were fresh out, but before I could even contemplate how to manage this sudden crisis, one of the sushi staff pulled out a set they had put aside for me. I thanked them extra, but they have no idea how loved and at home that made me feel.

Despite the absolute lack of parking, this location continues it's mantra of bait and switch. In fact, I've never been to this location where at least two items did not ring up correctly. Today, we bought two items that both rang up correctly.. Peaches, advertised as 99 cents a pound, range up at twice that. Raspberries marked 2.47 rang up 5 bucks. They're literally screwing everybody.

The level of in store service is not good. There are six checkout stands and I never see more than three open. And almost never any baggers. I don’t want to hear about a labor shortage, because if you pay right, they will come! And prices are like they already are. However, the delivery service is good.

I went shopping with my wife, and we used the self checkout. As we were scanning our stuff, the bagging scale became full, and so my wife suggested that I put those items in the cart, which I began doing to make space for the rest of our scanned items. Of course that set off a block on the process that required a supervisor to come and unlock the software because now the scale was confused about the loss of weight. Unlike Walmart, these scales demand that you leave everything in place until the very end. So the supervisor comes over and says 'You started out by helping but in the end you messed it all up". Thanks for the unnecessary rebuke.On another occasion we had an online order that got messed up due to Kroger's quirky software, and went to talk to the store manager about it. He was very nice until he found out that Kroger had deleted our order and that it was not his responsibility, at which point he completely lost interest in our problem. Thanks for the genuine concern.Otherwise, management aside, it's a reasonable store. However we took our online orders to Walmart as they do a better job.

City Market, a national multi-billion dollar corporation drastically reduced the amount of food and drinks they sell so they could put up an aisle of wine. In a bid to put the locally owned small business liquor and wine store, that they've had a public feud with and that resides in the same parking lot, out of business. Last time I'll be patronizing this store.

Their floral department was amazing!! I got my wedding bouquet here, and I was really nervous about how it would turn out, especially since I didn't know how to really communicate my vision. The worry was unnecessary- the bouquet was absolutely amazing. It looks like it came from a high end florist shop where I would have paid hundreds of dollars for it. Instead I paid $45, and they even wrapped it and everything. The ladies I worked with were sooo sweet and excited to help me make my vision a reality. They even had it all ready to go in a cart with my name on it when I came to pick them up the morning of the wedding. It made a really special day even more special, and I couldn't stop looking at all the beautiful colors the whole night!! The sunflowers that I ordered for my bridesmaids and the table also turned out gorgeous. We donated them to a nursing home the next day, since we were flying out of town and they still looked fresh as new.

Always a good time having one of the self-check out clerks just staring at me while I'm checking out. I don't know why but they just stopped what they were doing and stared. The person asked if I need anything to which i said no thanks and they walked away and continued to watch me. I told them to have a good night and I was completely ignored and treated like a vagrant. The whole experience made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.

I was in the store #421 last night and had the unfortunate opportunity to meet your customer service cashier Deb. I had asked her if her register was closed and she said yes. There was a tall male (city market employee) that said I could get the cigarettes and go to self check out. When I asked her for the cigarettes she pointed to the self check out cashier and said "go down there"Her job is customer service, and she failed at that last night. She needs to be re-trained and have an attitude adjustment . She doesn't understand that if it wasn't for the customers, she wouldn't have a jobIf you go there and see her, I'd turn and go to the other city market in durango. The customer service is impeccable 👌

The Olathe corn looked and tasted like it had been around the world and back. What was labeled as Palisades peaches certainly were not. They looked ok on the outside and were a firm, juiceless mush on the inside. Threw it all away as taking back anything to this store requires standing in the customer service line while all of the other store personnel stand at the end of aisles watching customers do self service. And don’t hope to find anything left at the meat/fish counter after 7pm. They’re already done for the day.2/19/23 It keeps getting worse. Only one lane of self service cashiers open and customers waiting in aisle; no one at meat/fish counter and overpriced fresh salmon packaged in plastic sealed containers with some sort of preservative that catches fire on grill.

I love their store, I wish I could say the same about their deli chicken. Their spicy fried/breaded hot wings is way too salty and not worth the buy. It just tastes like a mouthful of salt with a teeny tiny sliver of flavor. Also it's not spicy at all, which is the funny part since its supposed to be spicy.

Very friendly, dedicated, and helpful staff. As with all City Markets, some of their prices can be pretty high, but if you really search and also get a membership (free), you can get great deals. You can also get a chosen free item every Friday if you have a membership and download the coupon in your phone or computer that day.

I've been shopping here for 25 years, some of the same people still work there after a quarter century. Great staff, good products and a nicely arranged store make shopping a pleasure. Access to the store is easy but parking can be an issue during high volume hours. There's a full service pharmacy and a Starbucks inside.

I was having a busy day, and forgot about a really important expense that surprised me earlier. At the grocery check out, a customer and total stranger offered to pay for the rest of the groceries i had to put back, about $25.00 worth! No questions asked no names exchanged just a random act of kindness and it was wonderful! There are kind people out there and it is heartening. I will pay it forward!

Wish I could go lower than 1 star. This store claims that there is a coin shortage. Yet every other store in the entire city has change. You guys got me when the pandemic started, claiming my change would be added to my shoppers card. Oh look. None of the change was added to my account. I will not be going into this location.

I tried to place a delivery order. When the out of stock and refusal to give an alternate got to more than 50% of my order, I questioned the delivery person. He Wouldnt answer me beyond saying his battery was low and his charger is broke soooo.... Then many more refund out of stocks came in. By this time I would have to go in and get the order myself because there was nothing left to it. So I would need to hire a sitter. I told Mitchell to cancel the order and a long while later he left a rude text. In the mean time I called the store and spoke to Deborah who hung up on me the first time. Then was rude the second time.I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the only one. There are no other managers. I wanted to just cancel the order because it was only going to be about 30% filled. Pointless. Deborah told me I couldn't cancel because I made the order with instacart. I explained to her numerous times that I used their app and they are the ones that hire instacart. I was inte
