It was kind of busy, but that should be expected at 5 pm. I found everything I was looking for and was able to be checked out by a live cashier and a young man even bagged my groceries. I did have to go back to the car to get my bags because I have been in Okc for a month and you don’t have to bring your own or have to pay for bags there. Imagine that! Both the cashier and bagger were very friendly and there was not a long wait like at the big box store that everyone hates.

They have 3 deli slicers open, 2 of which were left open and were both meat. They closed the cheese slicer and refused to slice cheese for me. Michael the assistant manager refused to solve this matter. Due to the unprofessional exhibited my not only hourly employees but salaried management I could not bring myself to spend a single penny with City Market in conscious. They do not respect the customer or the corporate values which the company they work for is obligated to oblige to. This City Market makes the entire franchise look terrible. I will never spend my hard earned money here again. I will also be contacting corporate directly to report the failure of store employees and management to serve their customers appropriately. I will now only shop with Albertsons which is superior in providing customers with adequate service. City market is comparable to a Walmart neighborhood market and that is doing Walmart a disservice as even they have better service and customer relations than this particular City Market location. 0/0 stars, I’ve never dealt with such incompetence and lack of care and diligence from any one individual when it comes to performing their very basic job description. Michael should be fired and so should the incredibly lazy white woman working behind the deli counter. I’m glad I left everything behind and chose to spend my money elsewhere (Albertsons is only a few blocks away and my experience with them was fantastic).

Terrible customer service went to self checkout at 10:30 the lady walked over and got about 6 inches from me before I even scanned my drink. She didn't say a word to me the whole time it was an extremely rude and uncomfortable interaction I would suggest going to Albertsons the staff at this store definitely needs to be retrained.

We always enjoy finding a City Market in our travels. It seems like there is always something we need, from a few snacks to a take-with picnic lunch.City Markets are clean, including the restrooms, the staff is friendly and helpful and there is always parking. And since they are part of Kroger, Kroger brands, sales, bonuses, and points are useable at every store.

2 checkout employees working on a busy Sunday, lines down the aisles for the self checkout. Self checkout machines are a joke - you breathe in them the wrong way and you stand around waiting for someone to help.- 4 times while trying to pay for 1 batch of groceries.

Multiple items (cherry tomatoes, tortilla chips) had significantly lower marked prices than the price that rang up at checkout. Incredibly annoying when you select a particular item based on price and then have to call the self checkout lady over again and again. So we ended up with a $6 bag of tortilla chips. Moab store had better selection and was friendlier.

City Market is heaven on earth. It is a blissful escape that I look forward to each day. I wake up each morning thinking about the thousands of bananas and eggs I will acquire at this lovely market. Saves my family from starvation, what else could you want in a grocery store? I know what else: friendly faces and open arms; that too is something that separates City Market from the run-of-the-mill supermarkets. I have scoured the world in search of mankind's greatest achievements; I now can die happy. I'm a little suspect of the one-star reviewers; something tells me the aliens from the green light and other Walmart opposers are behind these facetious claims...SMH. Also, the prices are absolutely unbeatable; I would spend more at a free box, it's just that good. Absolutely recommend for locals and visitors alike. The hidden gem of the Western Hemisphere!

Was checking out a bottle of wine at self checkout. Employee comes over, says "license". No hello or how are you today. Stares at my license, then stares back at me, then again my license. I asked whats up. She says "bartending, you look at the face a lot". Lady you are not bartending right now, you are at a grocery store and you can run my license to check its real, it doesnt take that long to figure out if i am of age. 0/5 customer service, reviews are on point.

Ordered a large order online to be delivered. It never came. I won't get my refund for 7-10 business days. I have been trying to place another online order and it's keeps telling me to call customer service. I did. Sat on hold forever. Finally reached someone and got disconnected. I'll be sticking with Albertsons.

This place has really gone downhill recently. Limited stock on the shelves, expired digital coupons on every shelf, one cashier at 6pm, messy... An unpleasant and expensive experience. I wonder if upper management knows or cares?

I came to city market 4 days in a row to get a money order and they turned me down every time. Either the both was closed at 3 in the after noon or the lady at the courtesy booth is never ever there. They tell me to keep coming back. How many times do I got to come back to get customer service. I asked one of the ladys to get me a manager and she refused. Do not go here if u want good people or good customer service because they have none. They are really rude when they talk to u. They act like ur taking up there time. Again do not come here

The customer service here is horrible. They made us wait a customer service for 15 to 20 minutes before we were finally seeing. The employees looked at us and walked around us like we were invisible and didn't even care. And then when he did approach they gave was snobby attitude.

I like how this city market has a wide variety of products. What I don’t like is the service desk is unreliable and has days where they’re not open during the week. The service desk doesn’t always have money orders and the staff are rude. I went to this location during normal business hours but the service desk was closed while there were a lot of staff standing around. They didn’t have any signs up letting customers know they were closed. When this location doesn’t have money orders I have to take my business elsewhere which is a major inconvenience because there is only one other store who gives money orders.

As usual I was able to find everything that I needed. Everyone was very helpful. For the most pleasant experience was at check out time. For the past few times I seem to end up at the last belt register and the same young lady has been there with a huge smile and just the right amount of conversation while checking me out. After I was checked out she even asked if I would like help taking my items to my car and then said " have a great day with meaning. I don't know her name but she is really amazing.

Good selection and quality of produce as well as other products. Store appears clean and staff are friendly. The reason I give it 3 stars is due to store layout issues; very narrow bottle neck for entry and exit, narrow winding aisles for produce, and odd placement of products (ei, not intuitive-- sour cream is not with the cheese, stuff like that). Probably won't bother most people, but it definitely made shopping a little less enjoyable for me.
