I recently bought a raft from 4Corners and had an excellent experience! They outfitted the boat soup to nuts and were able to find everything I needed despite pandemic inventory shortages. John and his team were friendly and kind, and they helped rig the boat to load on the trailer when I came for pickup. A delightful part of the experience was that none of the staff had a holier-than-thou attitude that unfortunately exists at some outdoor shops—everyone was just excited about fun toys to get outside. Renting a 16 ft raft with a trailer was very reasonable compared to companies out of Moab.We would highly recommend this place to anyone! I'm a middle aged male who loves being on the river. Raising a family and running a business keeps me busy, which means my free time is at a minimum. I support businesses that give me the best possible service with the least amount of hassle and 4 Corners River Sports does that. They have competitive pricing, they're efficient, and they provide excellent customer service. Their prices are competitive, and in most cases they'll match a lower price if you bring it to their attention. The owners are world class athletes and so are most of the knowledgable staff; they understand the importance of great gear and how each customer, their experiences and needs, are unique. Orders are always processed efficiently and mailed out quickly. If you're in the market for kayaking, rafting, supping, camping, etc. gear of any kind, I highly recommend shopping with them.

4CRS is a well stocked brick and mortar for boaters. The senior staff members are very knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to ensure their customers are well equipped to float when they leave the shops front door. The only word of advice I have for customers is to be diligent when it comes time to pay. In my personal experience, the younger staff members are liable to make mistakes when ringing things up at the register.

Rented us a 97k mile uhual truck & when I expressed concern they said "oh it'll be fine it has regular maintenance". And then of course it blew its transmission 700 miles into a 1500 mile trip. Probably a great place to go rafting with but stay away for uhaul (stay away from uhaul in general if you can, really)

It is a watersport wonderland in here. As you walk in, you’ll be greeted by the canoe kitty. She will mesmerize you for a moment and you’ll forget what you’ve come here for. Until George greets you and offers his incredible smile and customer service. You’ll remember what you walked in for and you’ll see something else you need. Then you’ll find something you flat out want. And then you’ll be set for check out. But don’t worry, the price will be amazing because they have good deals!

Awesome class to introduce our kids to river safety and river sports. Our boys enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake and going in duckies (inflatable kayaks) on the river. They played lots of games to reinforce learning which made it so much fun for them. We appreciated the one on one attention they received which helped them to be more confident in the water and also aware of reading the river which helped them to have a fun and safe experiences. They also learned how to be responsible for their gear and helped the instructors load, unload, set up and clean gear. The instructors were amazing! We will be back for more classes in the future.

I'd 100% recommend the inflatable kayak course from 4Corners RS if you're looking for something to do during the summer in Durango (late May, Early June).For an introduction to whitewater it felt a bit like a trial by fire but it was definitely worth it. I was expecting the first day to be pretty uneventful with class I rapids and some dull demonstrations, instead we ended up running the smelter class III rapid at Durango's whitewater park multiple times in addition to loads of class II rapids on the way down the Animas river through Durango. It was a blast!I now feel confident enough to try out more whitewater in the future and will probably be back next summer for more whitewater fun with 4CRS!

I loved the 2day adult course! As a newcomer to the sport trying to advance from lake kayaking to river running, my boyfriend and I thought it best to learn the ropes first. The class was super informative and Mason and Holly catered to what we were most interested in doing/learning. I can't say enough how awesome those two instructors were! They really took the time and broke down the mechanics in ways that were easier to understand after seeing my blank stare when I didn't understand. Koodos to the friendly and informative staff!

Called a few days ahead to reserve some equipment from the the Nighthorse lake location and was told no need to do so in advance. Showed up and they were closed for a private event. Could have said something on the phone. Or, as a better business practice, if you’re going to allow people to reserve equipment, any or all, you should just go ahead and allow people to reserve them when they ask.

A few weeks ago, I purchased a Dagger Katana 9.7 kayak from 4CRS. Living in Alaska, I knew I would have an extra step for shipping an item that big from the Lower 48 up here. (Standard procedure for large or heavy shipping to The Great Land.) Nick and Matt were great, guiding me to take the necessary steps to secure the kayak, which hadn't even arrived at their shop yet. (High performance kayaks have been difficult to source for the past year and a half!) Additionally, 4CRS provided detailed information and guidance through email and telephone so that I could coordinate the shipment through 4CRS;s shipper to my my Alaskan shipper's facility in Washington. Everything went off without a hitch. All of 4CRS's guidance and information was good. The kayak arrived in excellent condition. Don't hesitate to engage 4Corners for paddle sports purchases. I would also like to put in a good word for my drop shipper (LTL), Span Alaska.
