Stopped in early this week to get some fishing location information. The young lady told me that most people fish under the main hwy bridge and that there was plenty of parking for an RV. All she had to do was tell me to take the road next to the grocery store across the road and follow that back to the beach on the river. A very disinterested person that could care less. I'm sorry I spent $14 on a few flies.

Delores Outfitters is highly recommend by me and my family. We ended up renting one of their Jeep Rubicon’s to go and explore Colorado while we were there vacationing. Their staff was very helpful in printing up maps and giving recommendations as to which trails would be best. All in all I would highly recommend them.

Where’s the ten star rating??? Best outfitters around! The best shopping in Dolores for clothing, souvenirs, camping and hunting equipment and don’t even think about skipping this stop if you like fishing! The most knowledgeable people in town when it comes to trails, camping and fishing! Thanks for doing such a great job and sending us towards the best adventures!

Ran by very nice and helpful people! I needed some zip ties to fix an issue with my truck. They were sold out of them but they grabbed a few out of their own toolbox and gave them to me for free. They could have just sent me on my way but they took the time to help me resolve the issue. The store itself has a lot of really useful outdoor gear and further reason to stop in the store. Highly recommended!!

From out of state and a beginner fly fisherman. The guy working was awesome. Helped me with getting a three day license, suggested some flies to use and gave me a list of local spots to fish and then gave me some pointers. It was a success as I did catch a nice rainbow trout. Thank you.

Great place, organized to where you can get most licensing for fishing, hunt etc. Great rentals, Jeeps, side by sides, kayaks etc. Cody always has great recommendations for where to go and Katie helped my mother in law and wife learn how to use straps when they rented a kayak for the day. Great customer service! I recommend them to everyone that comes to my RV park.

We were very impressed with Dolores Outfitters. Our first contact was on the telephone to find out about fishing in the area, the person we spoke with was very helpful and friendly! Later in the month we stopped by DO and metFelicia, super helpful and courteous. Great job for sure!

These folks are amazing! If there is something you need, they will get it! They work with local home crafters to market their crafts in the store, helping out the local crafting community! They are as friendly as they come, the kids and I can go in for a soda, and end up visiting for an hour while Cody plays air hockey with the kids and Katie and I get to talk. No better place to shop in Dolores!

Stopped in at Dolores Outfiitters our way back. Started talking with Cody on services they offer for future reference. His enthusiasm and obvious love of what he does was infectious. So much so we decided to stay the night at the Outpost Motel (recommended by Cody which is worthy of a 5 star review itself). Because of our limited time, Cody recommended a drive on a road which wound through the mountains and offered spectacular sights. We stopped several times just to spend a few additional moments to look at some of these sights. We also stopped to hike up to the Geyser springs. What a beautiful hike it was.I can’t express enough our appreciation for the warm, friendly service offered by Cody while there. He is highly knowledgeable about the area, and as such, we are already planning a trip back.Cody, keep up what you are doing my friend as you provide something that is sorely missing these days.

I wish every town had a place like this. Staff was very knowledgeable & helpful. We ask where to fish, caught some fish, we asked where was a nice place to camp, camped in an awesome/beautiful spot in the mountains. They even fixed my rod for free. Stopped in for gas and snacks. Ended up with that and a LOKI jacket to keep me warm in this crazy May snow in Colorado! Knowledgeable and friendly proprietors, Cody & Katie, shared locations to jeep and camp out! Had a blast and what perfect spots!! We will utilize this place for paddleboard rentals later this summer when we go to Lake Mcphee !

Strange encounter with supposed ownerTry’s to start verbal dispute with me in the parking lot while I’m purchasing his high priced fuel...Strange ?...best not to try to bust your customers balls .....maybe he was having a bad day ?
