LOVED IT! I travel full time, and I think my favorite grocery stores are the ones like this. The attentive staff with only a couple options of everything and anything you would need. It's great because then I don't feel crippled by the "illusion of choice". Lots of organic, vegetarian, & vegan options. Local produce and meats, etc. It's heaven here!

While agreeably modest in size, this place stocks shockingly diverse and high quality fare! I found the most beautiful lions mane mushrooms, that are hard to come by even in larger healthy themed markets.

Love the variety! Tahini, Farm Fresh Eggs, salad, local vegetables ... there is really nothing this store does not have.

This is a really nice store! For a fairly small store it has an amazing assortment and is very well stocked. Even fresh veggies and fresh meat. The folks working there are super nice and helpful. Great little store!!

All kinds of staples and a really good selection of tasty indulgences. I was on the road and found all my favorite things. Very friendly staff. I forgot my baguette and the woman who waited on me ran out to my car to bring it. I will know now that when I travel that way again, I can stock up here.

This store is WAY over priced, I have met nothing but rudeness in the liberal run government loving ANIMAL HATING sorry excuse for a customer based business. I will NEVER give them my business. Save your money and drive 15 minutes into Cortez.

This wonderful market is a gem! They have the freshest local produce, homemade items, such as pies or pot pies, excellent quality meats and a super assortment of items you won’t find elsewhere. The customer service is exemplary and the prices, while high, seem more worth it due to all of the above. Make sure to stop and give the place a try!

A gem of a find! We went to a fun weekend event in Dolores and have passed this market many times. I saw the sign for "fresh fish". I love to cook and am always on the hunt for wild caught fish. SURPRISE! In the case was Scottish Wild Caught Steelhead Trout. The also offer meats cut by a butcher, an amazing produce section (lots of local goodies), fresh baked pies too. Very impressive market in a small town. The staff was super friendly and helpful. And they get local sushi every Wednesday! Go there...

This is a great little grocery store. It carries a great variety of items and good brands as well The meat is excellent- some of the best steaks I’ve had. Much of the produce in the cooler room is local. Great brownies and lemon barsMost importantly for me, it is a safe place to shop. A certain number of customers are allowed in the store at one time and masks are required.I rate this business 5 stars!

I needed to bring lunch for a meeting. Being lazy I went to the Dolores Food Market for a Chicken Pot Pie. They were out! So I bought their lasagna instead. Wow! It was so yummy. Keep it in mind for an easy meal. I definitely recommend it.

Excellent variety of items from conventional to organic - even a small bulk section. Some local goods, decent produce and a small meat department. Super friendly to boot! Appreciate that they wear masks and require their customers too as well. Not the place to shop on price, but way more convenient than driving down the hill to Cortez.

Well, before the pLandemic, they were kind of expensive...But now that Wal-Mart, City Market, and the Family Dollar went crazy on their prices, after the pLandemic, the Dolores Food Market stayed the same...And became the most reasonable price place by default 😊👍

Surprisingly wide selection of items for a smaller store. They offer fresh and tasty local produce, quality store-made items, local bottled products such as hot sauce, and consistently impress us. All of their homemade pies are really good (tried peach, cherry, key lime so far), and the sweet bars at the checkout are tasty and decadent.

This little market is a wonderful part of Dolores. It has everything from a fresh deli, to grab and go lunch and breakfast items, to stocking up on bulk or fresh groceries. They carry products from other local companies seasonally, including fresh sushi, if you can catch it! The baked goods at checkout make you feel like your grandma just dropped by. Wonderful staff, as well.

Absolutely fell in love with this tiny place! Though small, they have a wonderful and rich variety. I went in for a couple of basic necessities and walked out with bags of gourmet fresh produce and prepared foods!

I was jokingly telling the lovely employees that I was going to give them a bad review because I forgot to take one of my food items when I left the store. Then I thought, why don't I actually leave a review?? I have been in the area for the past 6 months and have shopped at DFM regularly for several different reasons. First, they are one of the few businesses in the area that has required masks and has customer capacity limits during the pandemic. They also have excellent, excellent customer service. Employees are always friendly and knowledgeable. I like that they have a selection of products that I can't find in Cortez and I don't have to drive all the way into town. They are a bit pricier but it is worth it for a safe and convenient shopping experience. Also, I live van life so being able to fill up my portable (and potable) water containers from a clean, indoor dispenser is amazing. I never trust the ones outside. I can't recommend this store enough!

Great locally owned grocery store. It's small so don't expect a large selection. However, it is curated well. Great pies made in house. Sweet and savory. I highly recommend one or a few if you are passing through.

Beautifully done small gourmet healthy options market. The produce was superb and there were more local options than I could count.. They were so gracious as I showed up at closing time and we all hate that in retail. Sweet employees and immaculate store. Bravo!

Always has a great variety of fresh foods including baked goods. Remember this a small locally owned store so don't expect big box stores prices. You pay for the amazing quality. Ps Fresh Fish on Thursdays :)

Best store to get local and/or organic produce and meats anywhere in the area. I live in Rico and work in Telluride and this is where I shop.

Super friendly staff. Fantastic strawberry rhubarb pie! Stopped on way through town to check out a local business and wound up buying locally made sausage and fresh Olathe corn as well as that pie. Great find in a small community. Worth checking out.

The selection for a small store is great! There are fresh vegetables, meats, baked goods, weigh-your-own grains, and fruits to choose from. There are also some grab and go options of a much higher quality than I expected, including coffee. The service is usually good. Overall, if you're considering stopping here, I would definitely recommend and would guarantee you'll find what you're looking for.
