This market is awesome. The deli is great and always has such a good selection of things to choose from. Sometimes, I just go up and down the aisles to see what new stuff they have. Its full of items that are eclectic and unique , but they also stock the items that you need on a day to day basis. It's a great little market you should visit the next time you are passing through Divide. You wont be disappointed.

We had just arrived from out of town for our vacation and needed to get some basics. This place was within a reasonable drive. They were pretty well stocked, we found everything g we needed. That said, prices were about 30% higher than we were used to. But it did save a trip to Woodland Park. The place was very clean and the cashier was very friendly.If you're staying in the Florissant area though (like we were), you should check out their liquor store. It's not as well stocked, but nearly so and prices were surprisingly reasonable.

For a small town grocery store, this one has it all! It's amazing the things you can find here that are typically hard to find in large grocery stores! Everything you need and lots that you don't. It seems that here, as well as in any store, the prices have gotten higher but it is nice to have a store like this so conveniently located to where we live. Unfortunately for them, we usually do a big grocery haul when we go to Colorado Springs about once a month.

Update July 2023:So, I have given this place another chance....probably because it is so convenient rather than having to drive into WP. I am impressed this summer with the fact that the store does not look raided on the weekends from all of the tourists....meaning it seems they are super well-stocked this summer. Happy to see that. The staff are a bit friendlier and efficient, and the variety seems to have expanded. So, with that....I have to now give this place full stars because they deserve it!Previous reviews!This place is convenient to pick up one or two things. It is quite pricey, and when it is RV season the shelves are completely wiped out. I get it, as there are few stores up here for tourists. I am just surprised after all the years the store has been here that there is not a better system during RV season to know what to stock and not to stock, and what to keep "overly" stocked. During the heart of the pandemic staff did not wear masks, and did not observe extra cleaning.Update May 2023:Well I was impressed the last time I went with the friendliness of employees AND they were actually stocked with food over Memorial Day weekend. Usually summer weekends by Saturday morning the shelves are empty. This was nice to see and I am hoping this will be the new mode of operating during RV/Tourist season!

This store always leaves me wanting more. The produce selection is poor, the groceries are adequate and the meats used to be excellent but now seem forgotten. Prices are high even considering you have supermarkets 10 minutes away.

Wow! I've lived up her 20 years. I'm shocked at the increase in prices. Made a quick trip in after a surgery to avoid standing in line at Walmart. I expected to pay a little bit more then walmart but not this much. $8.99 for a 12 pack of soda and $7 for a bottle of creamer. A frozen pizza was $15. And it wasn't a fancy one. Come on guys, stay true to your locals. This is outrageous. I most certainly will avoid shopping here.

The location of this store is about as perfect as it gets when traveling toward Gunnison, Buena Vista, and Cripple Creek. I have stoppef here quite a few times to use the restroom and pick up some snacks for the trip. Every time I go in the people working there have been extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. The prices there are fairly normal and I never felt like anything was a rip off. The place has always been clean and I feel welcomed when I walk through the door. The location is what I really like. I hate pulling off many times because I get all jammed up with traffic. I can stop here, pick up some snacks and easily get back on the road no matter what direction I am heading. Definite a five stars!

People are friendly. Small store with good selection. There's even a hot, pre-made food service area. Bring your shopping bags. They observe conservation rules 🙂 You can buy one if needed too.

Everytime i stop in the staff is super friendly and excited to see me. Even though its a store i feel right at home soon as i walk in the door. One cashier in particular i believe his name is dustin is by far the most friendly and welcoming. Chicken is always on point the store is always well stocked

We visited for a week and rented a cabin off highway 67. This was the closest grocer to us. It's nothing like a big city grocery but they do pack in a lot of stuff! They had everything we needed for our week. I came down for donuts one morning and was surprised to find hot breakfast items. I had a breakfast burrito and it was surprisingly good! It was good enough I'm going to crave it from time to time when I go home. The donuts were good too! The staff was friendly and the place was pretty clean. I'll certainly be back the next time we are in the area.

Best deli. Downside is your paying "MTN prices" for literally everything when you dont want to go into woodland park. Sucks for us mtn folk that just get off work but other than that they are great.

It "was" a really good local grocery store. Nowadays it's quite decent, not horrible prices and the selection isn't bad. Its problem is after the new company took over. It really, and still is, struggled to get it's supply back. To this day it still has issues with supply, and it's missing a lot of its superior products that the old one had. Don't get me wrong its a decent grocery store with a good butchery. The new fry wedge recipe is horrible though.

When in the area.. I stop in... sometimes notice items that the bigger stores don't have n freezer section. Cool! So I try it! Its nice place.. the atmosphere there reminds me of the mom n pop country grocery store I use to go to growing up n the late 1940s early 50s.

A little bit expensive especially on certain items.All in all. It's clean. Usually pretty well stocked up. Depending on time of day not really that busy. Everyone there is friendly and they're good people.

Today I stopped to shop for our dinner groceries. When I walked in to threw away a small bag in the trash can by the shopping carts. A young male cashier turned around and said very rudely "that's not a public trash can". I asked him to repeat and he said the can was for wipes only.Very interesting since there were cups in there from Love's Truck Stop, Human Bean Coffee shop, and more. When asked about that he said I try to catch everybody but I miss some. I've lived here for many years and shopped at Divide Foods many times but I won't go there anymore. Called back a few minutes later and asked to speak to a manager. Some young person named Cody answered the phone. I suspected that he actually wasn't a manager even though he said he was the night manager. So I asked if I called during the day tomorrow and asked to speak to a manager who should I ask for. He said he wasn't allowed to give out that information. I said so you're not allowed to tell anybody who the manager is that your store? He said no I'm not allowed to do that.So in response to that I decided to post a Google review since perhaps it's the only way that this experience will reach the person that actually needs to hear about the poor customer service provided by Venture Foods in Divide, Colorado.It's too bad because I don't like to go public with complaints about local businesses but since they wouldn't hear my complaint this is my only option. One other thing, when I told Cody I was going to leave this review and would be specifically mentioning his handling of my concern he told me "if you do that there will be problems". I asked what do you mean? He said I don't give you permission to use my name. I told him that's absurd, he cannot tell me what I can and cannot share in a Google Review.I am not fabricating a story or telling any untruthful things. This is how he chose to handle a customer concern. People have a right to know that.

Great location for a foods store. Prices are usually a bit more than the big brand stores, but they definitely give a homelike vibe that is always welcoming. Good location to meet up for online retail as well. Overall great store to shop at, especially if you live nearby in the Divide Area.

A lovely little grocery store that is about 5 minutes away from the campground in Muller state park. Perfect if you need firewood or forgot something on your camping trip.

I love my local grocery store. It's like the best family. They treat you with love and respect and are so accommodating. And also their. Breakfast burritos are lip smackin good along with the rest of the food they prepare on site. All delicious.

The deli is insane good! Great chicken strips! Everything else is pretty expensive! Use this place in the event of emergency! Closer than Woodland Park for a quick pick up!

Local grocery store, friendly and helpful staff. Prices are kinda high, but it's close to home so it's kinda worth not having to drive another 10 miles to the next closest store.

For a small town grocery store this place is awesome! There is a good fruit & veggie selection for as small as the store is. I don't go there to do my bulk shopping, but I'm in at least 2 to 3 times a week for miscellaneous stuff. The cashiers are always very nice.

I have a lot to say. Usually the employees at this store are friendly but I had a very negative experience today. I was accused of stealing and i am none too happy about it. I didn't get the woman's name but she was old with white hair and she, like too many people in Teller County, was NOT WEARING A MASK. So here is a store employee, endangering everybody's health during a pandemic by not wearing a mask, accusing me of "having a sandwich in my pocket that I need to pay for" while I am PAYING for ground beef at the checkout. Hopefully, the ground beef is OK, I have bought items at Venture foods in the past that were spoiled despite being within the sell by date. I need not say that i didn't steal anything, especially anything from the deli as I was accused of from this store. The real act of criminality is in fact the exorbitant price gouging that is very pronounced at this store. This, coupled with the fact that certain employees clearly have no training and/or ability at loss prevention (I was the ONLY customer in the store and there were three employees there, yet they still can't determine whether I am stealing or not? Absurd!) guarantees I will not be shopping at the store anymore. I would give zero stars if it were an option.
