I rarely write reviews on here, but every single time I come to this Walgreens, I am blown away by the incompetence of the staff. Three weeks ago, I had a prescription sent there by my doctor. Three days later, I went to go pick it up and it still had not been filled, and they said it would take another several hours. 15 minutes after leaving, they called me to tell me that I would not be able to pick it up at all, as they were out of stock, and I would have to call another pharmacy and ask them to transfer the prescription.Over a week ago, my doctor sent over a prescription. I received a notice that it was "delayed" due to insurance. Today (over a week later) I called to check in on the delay and they told me they would have it ready in an hour. When I went to pick it up, I waited in line for 30 minutes, then again at the counter for 15 minutes while they searched for my Rx, then another 15 minutes while they tried to enter my coupon, only to then tell me they wouldn't accept the coupon for the $100 Rx, despite the fact that Colorado passed a law in 2023 capping the price for this prescription.Pharmacies are a place where people have to go to maintain their health and well-being. If you want to protect yours, I would avoid this location at all costs.

This has to be the worst Walgreens experience I’ve ever had. Went in to pick up a prescription, the doctor I saw the previous day didn’t send the script in and the pharmacist acted like I was crazy saying there was nothing in the system. I came back later in the day to try for a second pickup, and the same pharmacist wouldn’t let me pick up the prescription because of a 6+ year old previous address still listed as my primary that I couldn’t remember. After getting very frustrated, a manager stepped in and changed the information. I then went to go pickup a few OTC medications and waited at the locked cases for over 20 minutes. I was then told there’s no key to open any of the store cases, so I wasted my time standing there, and couldn’t even get the medications I was trying to buy. I’m not coming back a third time, this store is terrible! Beware!

Do not answer their phone in pharmacy! Waited 23 minutes! I tried 2 other times in 3 hours no one ever did answer! Needs to answer their phone ! issue could be emergency! No stars !!! I called another Walgreens answered phone right away and will have my prescription ready tomorrow morning! This pharmacy needs training on customer service!

This one star is specifically for a Pharmacy situation that happened here.I recently scheduled an appointment to get a COVID-19 vaccine and a flu shot. I showed up to my appointment to see a paper sign that said all vaccine appointments were cancelled because the pharmacy is short staffed. I didn't get any call or notification on my app that my appointment had been cancelled. I also wasn't met with any kind of understanding or empathy from the staff. In fact, the head pharmacist was flat out rude about it and was a really mean man who lacked any sort of customer service skills. If he hates interacting with customers that much, maybe it's time this man finds a new career path.There was absolutely NO regard for the time, energy, and effort it took for me to arrange my appointment on my end. I took leave to get my shot at that time, and if I knew my appointment was cancelled, I could have taken less time away from MY work and scheduled for different day. I wouldn't have driven down and could have scheduled an appointment elsewhere, if they just took the ten seconds to notify me. While the app schedules the appointment, the Walgreens pharmacy staff is getting paid to manage these appointments.The pure irony of the situation was that, fortunately, I was able to get an appointment at the Walgreens off South Monaco and Evans... and this pharmacy was substantially busier with the same amount of staff working...yet, somehow they could still honor their vaccine appointments. The two people there were able to gracefully navigate multiple vaccine appointments, drive through and walk-up pickups, and a substantially longer line of people. They also told me that they make a point of calling people when appointments are cancelled at that location, which I think speaks volumes to the care, consideration, and basic human decency they show their customers.I live 2 minutes away from the Hampden and Popular Walgreens, but I think the ten minute drive to the South Monaco and Evans location would be worth the drive after seeing how much kinder, more efficient, and more professional their pharmacy staff is.

The pharmacy staff is trying their best. They're open, they're doing what they can, and they don't control the staffing. Working in retail pharmacy is the worst, people are awful to you all day and everything that happens is somehow your fault. Be nice to them. A little kindness will make them want to help you. Being gross towards techs doing their best during the worst pharmacy shortage of my career isn't going to help. I do not work here, never have. But I know what it's like. I see yall and hope you know I appreciate your effort.

Without a doubt this Walgreens is one of the worst. Pharmacy staff is often confused and unable to function. Not sure if lack of training or not enough staff has created the problems. We are switching to CVS on Havana as they have a professional operation.

Deplorable service. I had restricted items in my order (cough syrup) so it could only be picked up through the drive thru or in store. Being that I am sick and don't want to expose others, I opted for the drive-thru. Apparently that was a mistake. I used the email I received to indicate "I'm here" and in the drive thru, gave them my name, and they told me there's no order. Yeah thats not possible, look again please. One other person said I can't pick it up in the drive-thru even though there's a sign on their window advertising this service. Another person comes over, who I presume to be the store manager, and indicates the order is "too big" and won't fit through the drive-thru window. I've worked at Walgreens before, I know it will, but I won't argue. So I pick up my order inside, and everything is fine, but how are you going to lie straight to my face like that? Entirely unacceptable. Picture attached of order.

At the store today getting a DoorDash order and couldn't locate some items. A young man named Esah? couldn't have been more helpful with the best smile!! I apologize if I spelled his name wrong but the date is December 27th at approximately 2:00 in the afternoon. Kudos to the young man!!

Send your prescription to this Walgreens if you never want your prescription filled, you want to sit on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes, and you prefer terrible customer service.Called as soon as they opened (10am on Sunday), sat on hold for 30 minutes, lady told me they opened 5 minutes ago… no apology, just rude. Like it’s my bad for calling when they opened instead of theirs for opening up late.Then I asked to transfer my prescription to a different Walgreens and she hung up on me.I’ve called this Walgreens 3 times and every time I’ve sat on hold for at least 30 minutes.I had to call because I was transferring my prescriptions we from CVS to Walgreens and only one of the prescriptions got filled. Before I had called Walgreens, CVS had confirmed they received the prescriptions from my doctor, so something had to have happened during the transfer. Whether that’s a CVS or Walgreens issue, I don’t know.

I CAN'T SAY THIS LOUD ENOUGH! WORST pharmacy I've ever gone to 😡👎 I WAS HUNG UP ON 5x before I gave up and went in there in person (this most recent time, this is a normal occurrence). Then Mike J. , who was working at the register at the time copped an attitude with me to top it off. He was appallingly rude and was speaking about my prescription loud enough for anyone to hear (privacy concerns anyone? I'll be reaching out to the state of CO in regards to that). I have never been spoken to in such a condescending manner 😡 Take your business somewhere else!

The absolute worst pharmacy of all time. It’s always at least and hour wait to talk to them and they will straight up hang up on you. Happened to me 5 times now in the last year. I’ve already switched all of my meds to other companies but the doc sent it here again. Transferred to other Walgreens so I can get a pinch of customer service.

Wow! Very impressed with the quality of service at this particular Walgreens pharmacy. I moved to south Denver recently and had my prescriptions transferred here because it is closer to home. I have been twice so far and both times have been some of the the easiest and most pleasant Walgreens pharmacy visits ever. My first experience was in the drive thru on a weekday during rush hour- there was no line. The pharmacy representative was very kind and got me taken care of right away. Second experience was with Rosalee, I called to get another RX transferred on a Friday at 6pm- my phone call was answered in less than 15 seconds without having to be placed on hold. Rosalee quickly and efficiently got my RX transferred and I will be able to pick it up at the perfect time. Rosalee was incredibly kind and personable. I am grateful to have been treated like a part of the family here. So happy to call this my new Walgreens pharmacy.

This is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever been to. The pharmacist is extremely rude and very unhelpful! I have NEVER had an issue getting an RX filled that is covered by my insurance, and I have been back twice now and they’re trying to say my insurance doesn’t cover it. Weirdly enough, I’ve picked up this exact prescription from my normal pharmacy billed through my insurance for the last 3 months…absolutely ZERO issues. This pharmacy can’t seem to figure it out and they have no interest in trying; absolutely pathetic customer service. Save yourself time and energy and go somewhere else.

I don't know if they're understaffed or just incompetent. I will assume the former. I once called them to check on my prescription (it had been 3 days since it was sent and it was still not ready). I was put on hold for so long that I drove to the store and got to the front of the 30 minute line before moving up 1 spot on hold. There have also been multiple times when I show up within the pharmacy's open hours only to find the pharmacy closed. Unless you want incredibly long wait times, 0 phone accessibility, and inconsistent open hours, just get your prescription down the road at CVS. The managers should be utterly embarrassed.

If I didn't have to give ANY Stars...I wouldn't......Because the store is not worth any stars...0.......But unfortunately I have to give one🤬🤬So let me explain why on Saturday March 28th around opening time 7o'clock amI place an online order...And sometimes things are there or Not in stock!!!So I get an email telling me just that? So I call the store back to to if I could Substitute? Lord and behold what did I do that for??? The incompetent customer service representative that kept answering the phone and hanging up Because she does not know how to transfer a call or find someone that can?Or could have help me... I called back 5 times... for her to keep doing the same thing hanging up.🤬By this time I am furious🤬🤬So finally when The incompetent female figures the question out she asks me what do you need From our online services.. By this time I said cancel my order immediately.. This store We'll never get a other dollar from me anymore!!!! On how I was treated for no reason... Then come to find out she didn't cancel my order. I had to call the 1 800 Customer service number and filed a complaint for the order to be canceled🤬🤬🤬So with that being said please don't shop at this store when you have incompetent. People that do not know how to treat customers and customer service is terrible there... The job turnover is terrible each time I go in there. There's different workers all the time I cannot stand this store.. Went to another store on Evans and Quebec and I was treated like a Queen and with the upmost respect that's how you treat people.Stay away from this store.. Also since Christine has been gone.. May she rest in peace🙏🏼The store has went down since then. Where are the good people like her...This store really needs to become better & More physical and customer service training💯Hire people with a little class!!!!

This is a really bad store. It's hard to put into words how bad this location is. It's filthy, the employees don't do anything, and curbside pickup is *****. I've never had a good experience here in the five years I've lived nearby. I ordered something for curbside pickup, ready in 30 mins. Two hours later, still not ready. I drive over there and go in, the product I ordered is there in the shelf. Employees sitting around looking at their phones, not willing to help. Walgreens should cut their losses and close this location. Maybe put a vacuum repair shop or something else slightly less useless. Go to the CVS down the road, it's pretty nice.

This place is SO BAD at the basic level of services. They are severely short staffed. The drive through has not been operational for over a year. They close the pharmacy in the middle of the day bc they are not staffing adequately. Refilling rx's here is a painful experience. They are always out of medications. For some reason they don't know how to properly stock their own pharmacy. It's nearly impossible to speak to someone to know when they get restocked. I honestly cannot stand this pharmacy at this point and I'm going to switch over to Costco. The level services has been in decline for some time, especially the last two years, it's just awful. They don't deserve my business and quite frankly they don't seem to care, why should I?

Update: 10 months later and it has only gotten worse. I have been desperately trying to transfer my prescriptions out of Walgreens, and no one will answer the phone. So, I am basically trapped, and I can't get my medication for EPILEPSY. If Michael Bickford is still a district manager, its understandable why every location in his district is absolute trash.ZERO STARS FOR BEING INCOMPETENT!!!!!!! They never have my prescription ready when it's supposed to be. They have messed up my insurance. Most of the unqualified staff in the pharmacy should not be there. They found a "lost" prescription while I was standing there, and laughed about it. You would think that after all of these negative reviews, corporate would see a problem. But they don't. Walgreens in general is extremely incompetent, and don't require any sort of certification to be in the pharmacy. I was a manager for Walgreens for several years(worst company I have ever worked for), and was filling prescriptions while I was there. So if you are wondering why there are so many errors, that's why. These people are not qualified to handle people's health, and definitely not prescriptions. They have put my health in jeopardy several times, and I'm done. Go to Elite pharmacy. They are certified and will deliver your prescriptions ON TIME.

Horrible. The pharmacy at this store is a joke. They never have your prescriptions done on time. Auto refill just doesn’t exist. When you try to call it takes several minutes to talk to someone, then you find out that the person on the phone isn’t even in the store. Then they say they will transfer you in to the store and you are on hold for minimum of 15 minutes. Finally you hang up. This happens over and over. You never talk to a pharmacist in the store. I moved my prescriptions to CVS, it’s just not worth the headache. I’ve been using this Walgreens for over 20 years, and enough is enough. Don’t waste your time.

Zero stars. I have been getting my prescriptions filled at a Walgreens across town for the last six years, and it was a great experience. This place, however, is a nightmare. Super long wait times on the phone, and it's just reps who aren't even in the store, and they are rude. My husband tried to pick up my prescription multiple times, with long waits and no meds. Finally after literally waiting an hour the last time, he was able to get it. Stay away if you want a smooth experience and customer service. This place offers neither.

I've been using this Walgreens for two years and never had any issues. Yes the drive through is closed and I'm sure this is due to a staffing shortage. The inside line has never been bad when I go. The store is clean and the staff are helpful. Thank yall for what you do! I'm sure it's not easy dealing with civilians complaining and yelling at yall everyday.

I really do hesitate to give a negative review because I understand the difficulty of service positions, but Trevor, the up front employee, gave terrible service to senior citizen customer. His rudeness was entirely unnecessary & appalling. Witnesses to this incident will be reporting about incident at store.

I have used Walgreens Pharmacy since they are a national company and have found it convenient to obtain medication when traveling. But as of late, getting prescriptions filled at any location has become burdensome. Mostly the stores lament on lack of staff, supplies or some other tired excuse. Using the Denver, CO, Hampden store location is an utterly complete waste of time of your time. Actually had the pharmacist state, that they are so back logged on filling prescriptions, that you can expect a minimum of a week to ten days, get any prescriptions filled. They are also, not excepting any prescription transfers, from other pharmacy's. Save yourself some time, grief and find another pharmacy company/store to use for your needs.

I had been going to this pharmacy for the past year with no issues; however I'll be taking my business elsewhere after the service I received over the past three months. I had my monthly prescription set to auto-refill. Three months ago, I called multiple times to check on the status of my prescription, which was overdue, and each time the automated phone system said it was "still being processed". After receiving this message for 24 hours, I finally waited for about 30 minutes on hold to speak to a representative. They didn't apologize and simply stated my prescription would be ready in an hour. The following month, my prescription ran out. I asked the pharmacy to contact my doctor to request a refill. Despite the automated phone line indicating that the request would be sent to my doctor and the new prescription filled within 24 hours, the request was never sent to my doctor and the prescription was never filled. Instead, I contacted my doctor directly a few days later to have the new prescription sent. My doctor confirmed they had received no correspondence at all from Walgreens. Now this month, my prescription is yet again "still being processed" for over 24 hours. I waited on hold today for 45 minutes, with the phone system indicating there was only one call remaining in front of me. All of a sudden, the automated recording message changes, saying the pharmacy is now closed for lunch and that I should call back in 30 minutes. It is 10:30 AM. Their website says they close for lunch at 1:30, NOT 10:30. It shouldn't be this hard to get access to the medications I need.

Avoid at all costs!Wish I could give 0 stars. Pharmacy techs left me sitting in the drive through for 40 minutes while I watched new customers come get in line and be served. Then told me there was no line and I could come inside now. Then, my prescription wasn't ready even though I had called to confirm it would be ready hours before I got there. She proceeded to tell me about her amount of patients and belittle my medical need. Worst attitudes and worst customer service.

If I could give this pharmacy 0 stars, I would! They are THE WORST!! They used to be fine but have gone SO FAR DOWNHILL in the past several months. They only fill prescriptions if you call and bug them to do so. They won't fill them, even if you wait for them. They are rude. They never answer the phone. If you try to wait on the phone, they hang up on you. You try to speak with the store manager. Nobody ever comes to the phone, then THAT phone hangs up on you. AVOID THIS PLACE! I was very nice to them for MONTHS to see if they could get through employee transition, but I've had it!

Very rude employees. I came to get my prescription yesterday (Sat, Oct 9) 20 minutes before close. I was in line at the pharmacy and when I finally got up to the window it was a couple minutes past 6 and after waiting for 20 minutes he would not get my my prescription that I really needed. He said “well we’re closed now” and sent me to a different Walgreens. I drove to the other Walgreens pharmacy which also closed at 6 just like all of the other ones. I’m pretty sure he knew that they all closed at 6 and just wanted me out of his hair.
