I couldn't disagree more with the negative comment posted. I have worked here for a year and the management is very nice and understanding. The people are great and we all do our best to make sure our costumers are happy. Larry and Kirk both are really good bosses and I'm glad to be apart of their team. I love working here and I'm proud to say I do. You can hate on ur old places of employment due to personal issues, but that just goes to show what kind of people are leaving negative ratings. This place is full of amazing workers and we all do our part to keep this place happy and healthy.

First of all , I would like to say that the comment about the owner Larry is so far from the truth. I started there making $11 an hour and was only getting maybe 30 hours a week. I went to Larry and said I was going to have to find another job. Long story short he gave not only me, but 2 other of my co-workers a $2.50 raise plus said we would get at least 40 hours. This went on until I moved to Oklahoma. I have worked at a alot of differnt places and this is by far my favorite job. I miss it so much.

This is the WORST place to work for and to purchase ANYTHING from! If I could give this awful place negative stars I would! The owner Larry is a super cheap treats employees like total garbage never gives raises and the manager Kirk is a chauvinistic sexist bastard. The animals are either sick and infected with god knows what when they come in or! Become ill while in the warehouse. TROPAQUATICS is LITERALLY the dirstiest! Nastiest, most DISGUSTING place I've ever worked for and EVER BEEN IN. It smells like death and reeks of filth. They never do anything about it. I was sexually harassed while working here and it took THREE times of this happening for them to finally fire the the gross person who did it. DO NOT WORK FOR THEM!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Worst job I ever had... dirtiest place I’ve ever worked. Don’t buy animals from this place they are sick or too young. Do not pay fairly or give raises. If you get hurt they fire you. They have mice and rats cannibolizing all the time. They don’t care about the health or well being of the animals and don’t do good by the employees. They totally play favoritism with certain employees. Do not apply here and do not buy animals from them.

My family (Powell's) used to own this place. Ive worked there a couple times night shift. Loved it! Fond memories growing up...
