Chad did an EXTRAVAGANT job with Romeo! He was nice and very patient with him. Was very accommodating when they had the wrong number on file to reach me and when I finally decided to call he informed me Romeo has been ready for a while. I felt terrible but a huge shoutout to him for being sweet and amazing at what he does. Will definitely be booking him in the future! :)

CHAD is the best groomer! He treats my girl with respect & a calm demeanor that helps soothe her anxiety. He is also very knowledgable in what products are best for her come bath time given her sensitive skin. We are so grateful for his expertise! This store is also very well maintained, clean & the staff is always helpful & kind when we visit.

Service has definitely declined recently. Tried to get walk in services as listed on their website which I have been getting for my dog for years. Told that I need an appointment, meanwhile website does not allow you to book an appointment for those services. Won’t be back, the kid at the front desk was rude and unhelpful

Absolutely no. They shaved my double coated dog. Possibly having damaged her coat permanently. Not only that, it came out patchy with her fur different lengths everywhere. Didn’t even trim her tail. Ridiculous. How do you mess up that badly. $80 down the drain and permanent damage to my dogs fur.

they stop to grooming and return my dog like picture.Hi this is Stephanie from Petco it's too close to her skin and she keeps trying to bite me this is literally like the fourth time she's tried to bite me and when this happens we usually have to stop service and refer you guys out to a vetmy dog never bite people ＆ kids and baby friendly dog . she is so liar and not dog friendly person

I had 2 9AM appointments. Instead of my two dogs being bathed at the same time they were done back-to-back and it took four hours instead of two. Dogs came back stressed from having been in crates with a bunch of other dogs not in crates. One dog came back with a limp and later threw up that night (can’t prove he got this from there, but it’s the only thing he did that day, and he was fine going in). Never going here again.

Terran is great we have been to a few different groomers and we always come back to Terran.He is our Favorite he always gives us what we ask for when he grooms our Smokey.He is Great give this guy a raise!

We have 2 Shih Tzus, and have been having Mandy at petco do their grooming for about 2 years. Mandy is absolutely top notch. She always does a great job and is just a pleasure to deal with.

The groomers are the best, customer service excellent.....however, good luck getting your pet in there without a week - two week wait. I'm not sure if they need a bigger place, another location, or more workers but definitely something going on with the lack of being able to serve customers in a 1-4 day window

This review is only for the grooming services, specifically HECTOR! I did get to my appointment early today because I had to take my one year old to another appointment. Getting around and out the door with a one year old isn’t easy so I do try to be as early to most things to avoid being late. When I checked into petco Hector (who is not my groomer) looked up my dog and said, “you’re early.” I stated I know, is it possible to check my dog in early (as grooming appointment take 3-4 hours anyway, what is another 40 min in a kennel). He continued to have a rude attitude and told me he would ask my groomer. As we’ve used this groomer in the past and she knows my dog, I didn’t see what the issue was. Hector was trying to be as un-accommodating as possible. In a rude attitude he told me I would have to wait for my groomer or I could reschedule. It seemed very unnecessary! He wasn’t even my groomer and from my interaction with him I WOULD NOT leave my dog in his care to be groomed. He seemed like he didn’t like his job and if he is that rude and lacks patience with a customer, I couldn’t even imagine his patience with a dog. I do not need to be punished for being early to an appointment. I get that people are on schedules, and I was only asking if I could check my dog in early. The horrible attitude and rudeness was uncalled for. My groomer is extremely pleasant but I will be taking my business elsewhere because I don’t need to be treated poorly for inquiring about an early check in! I would suggest that if you use this grooming service at petco to avoid Hector for a more pleasant experience!

09/21/22: We took our cat for a grooming appointment with Terren for a second time, and I dare say she looks even more beautiful than the first time! Terren is like a magician cutting cats' hair. Honestly, if he was ever to leave Petco, we would totally follow him wherever he went. He's just that amazing. Not only does he give superb teddy bear haircuts, but our cat also seems happy and relaxed afterwards. Thank you so much, Terren! ❤️04/14/22: We just took our cat for her first grooming appointment ever since her hair was super long and she seemed a bit hot during the day. Terren B was extremely knowledgeable about kitties and so so nice. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to groom their cats. He has many years of experience, and it shows. Our beautiful girl came out even more beautiful than before (and she smelled heavenly, too!) 😻😻😻 Thank you, Terren! You did a fantastic job!

Every other person location I've been to, the employees are helpful and knowledgeable. When I walked in here I was greeted. When I asked for help the girl pointed to the other side of the store. I had questions about a new pet and wasn't helped at all. The cashier was rude and asked me to bag my own items. I will never go to this petco again. The one on 64th and Sheridan is stupendously better.

We had a grooming appointment and arrived within the grace period of 10 minutes. They cancelled on us saying we were late. I called them back to understand where the issue was and they hung up on me, which is not professional. I then talked to the manager who was very helpful and she said grooming said they denied our dog since they didn’t have a vaccination record on file while they never explicitly said that to us in person. Their excuses didn’t add up and it ultimately comes to the women we talked to in grooming who was rude and unhelpful. She should not be working there.

I was treated kindly from the time I walked into Petco. So was my dog Frannie 🐶❣️ Terren was Frannies grommer. He explained everything to me I aske & checked to make sure she had her rabbies shot, which I brought in proof of. He was kind & understanding. My dog has aniexty, and he handled that problem very well. Terren did a wonderful job. She looked great😊! I would recommend Petco grooming to my friends or anyone who may ask. I'll be going back for her nail trim next month. Ur store is kept very clean. The service there is great. Thanks
