They got my dog in soon for grooming which was great. But then they were done within 1.5 hours. Which had me wondering since they usually say it'll be about 4 hours before she can be picked up. When my bf got her back home I noticed that she still had matted hair in her ears, long pieces of hair left all over her and that her face was still long and barley even trimmed. Leaving eye boogies still stuck in her face hair.I take her to Petco monthly for grooming. Not this location usually. But I expected better results then this. Especially since it cost me $75 compared to the usual $55....Very disappointed.

My dog has a male groomer she loves dearly. Love at first sight. Next month, she is getting the whole treatment. But only her favorite male groomer can touch her since she is an ADA law service dog. Thank you Sir!

Michelle is amazing! I had some very specific cat food needs, and she was unbelievably knowledgeable about different brands, and went above and beyond by looking up protein percentages for me. She also had suggestions about other products to help my cat. I hope Petco knows how lucky they are to have her on their team!

every single employee we encountered was interested in offering assistance.it was our first trip to the pet store together and I'm really grateful for the help finding the last collapsible water dish in the entire store.

Horrible experience. First off it says an XS dog is 1-10 lbs, my dog is 8 lbs exactly but they up charged me for huge dog. Second off, I paid an extra $30 for my dog to be brushed out even longer and get her undercoat out (she’s an 8 lb toy pomsky puppy). I went to pick her up and they told me she “didnt really like being brushed” so they didn’t brush her. Even though I paid $70 specifically for that reason. So basically I just paid for a $70 bath for my dog. Insane.

It’s so annoying that an appointment can’t be made for a dog’s nail trim, only for baths and haircuts with nails as an add-on.I called, the phone system directs to the website which was a waste of time because it won’t allow appointments for just nail trims. I walk in with my dog, each time they are too busy.So you need an appt but can’t make an appointment.They know this so they say to drive around to other locations throughout the metro area to try (calling ahead goes nowhere). No thanks, I have other things to do.The retail store itself is fine and the retail employees are kind, but can’t help with the grooming department.I actually needed to buy some things today but if I’m just going to have to go to a different place like PetSmart, I’d rather buy from them while my dog is getting her nails trimmed.It’s been like this for a while at this location. Grooming says they’re always understaffed. Management should take this seriously already, you would get more business if this was managed a lot better.

First time going into this Petco as I was not near my home. The dark haird female cashier (glasses and a little fat), greeted the two Caucasian customers in front of me with a welcoming smile. When I approached the counter as an African American male, her facial expression and demeanor instantly changed to a frown and not welcoming. I would classifier the cashier here as a "karen" who's racist, fat, unattractive and unhappy working there making below average salary. Never going back. To her: enjoy your fat, broke life. That is all

Average Petco, good selection and has everything I need for my spoiled dog. Prices are average and sometimes they have good sale prices on products I need with no need to load coupons. I would definitely recommend signing up for vital care and downloading the app!

01/23/247:35 PMI stopped in last minute looking for a new pet for my nephew. The girl with black hair on duty was making me very uncomfortable. She didn’t welcome us in. She was on her phone the whole time, and just kept looking up to stare at us. We actually needed help with one of the reptiles and she just stared at us creepily. Definitely write her up for being on her phone and being unfriendly to customers.

The store was desolate, and the animals did now look healthy. The cockatiel and conure that were there looked especially dirty. The cockatiel wasn't moving around much and was fluffed up and breathing very heavily. He also had discoloration on his beak, nares, and feet. The cages the conure and cockatiel were in were far too small. The budgies also looked like they were plucking their tail feathers out. There is a very good exotic vet down the street called Colorado Exotic Animal Hospital that should be used for these animals.

Love this Petco. It is super close to my house, but more than that every single employee there has always been super nice and helpful. The place is clean and well stocked. They are always willing to check in the back if they are out of something on the shelves.

I have never been to this location, but this is my new go to. Elina the groomer took such good care of my babies, she did a great job with their haircuts. She will be their groomer from this day forward thank you Elina.

This review is solely for Grooming Services only!!We scheduled a grooming appointment (bath and deshedding) for our dog this weekend and were shocked at how we received her. When we picked her up, it was clear the groomer did a hack job. The fur around her paws is completely uneven (see pics) and she was not brushed at all around her back legs. It looks like they just cut some of the hair, and the cut is so uneven. I can pull out handfulls of hair with no effort which means they essentially did not brush our dog at all. We have NEVER had this issue with any other groomers in the area. If you want to pay $100 for a bath feel free to book. If not, I would suggest going ANYWHERE else. We will not be back.

Staff is always very friendly and helpful!The reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is because they were out of the size bag of kitten food I needed so I had to buy the huge bag which I'm afraid will stale before I use it all. Other than that - always a great experience.

During a visit to pick up a beta, I noticed they were extremely busy at checkout. But there was no need for dread. With a push of a button, an automated announcement help came quickly. I really love their attentiveness to all their customers, from bipedal too quadruped. I wish I could have this experience everywhere.

The conditions of the conures living in this store is appalling. They don’t have a single comfortable perch because the perches are attached to platforms causing their tails to rest on the platform and get damaged. Not to mention it is uncomfortable for them. These poor birds sit in the store for months and months with only a single toy to keep them occupied . They can’t even climb because the enclosures are glass instead of bars. Petco needs to do better and upgrade the enclosures or stop selling live birds .

Was a lot to choose from. My son & I were doing just fine until this old employee suggested we purchase this spray so your dog doesn’t chew stuff. She blatantly suggested to my son to spray it on his hands. I swear that stuff is toxic & lasts forever. Don’t buy: “Bitter YUCK”. Stuff is disgusting.
